Changes to Coloring Pixels DLC Process and Calendar
We are currently trialling a new process for Coloring Pixels DLC! Previously our DLC has been released on a rough 5-week schedule, meaning a new Book for Coloring Pixels every 5 weeks. With our new process, we are changing to publishing a new book on the second Friday of every month! That means we are moving from ~10 DLC's in a calendar year to 12!
Our new process also includes you guys! Head over to our Discord (link above and in-game) to cast your votes on the book ideas we have lined up as well as suggest new ones!
The top voted in our Discord gets moved over to our Patreon where our Patreon supporters get the final vote on what book to do next!
Please note, we are only trialling this process to see if it works well as we are excited to involve our community!

We are very excited to announce that hexceed is now live on Steam!
hexceed is our brand new puzzle game! Think minesweeper but with hexagons and a variety of other interesting puzzle mechanics!
Your goal is to reveal the whole board by correctly deducing what tiles are safe and tiles hide hidden dangers!

New Image!
We are very excited about the release of our new game, hexceed, coming out for free today! As such we want to represent hexceed in Coloring Pixels so you can enjoy a new image to color!
New Free Level! - To celebrate the launch of our newest game, hexceed. We have added a new image to the Bonus book! When you are done with that, make sure to check out hexceed on Steam (it's also free).
Bug Fixes and Misc
Hide Completed Books Setting - The Book you currently have open will continue to be visible until you select a new book.
Hide Completed Books Setting - The Bonus book now becomes visible and will appear incomplete when we add a new image to that book (like with this update).
If you have completed a book, and then delete a level in that book. The book button on the main menu will return to its default white state until you 100% complete the book again.

The Landmarks Pack Is Out Now!
The Landmarks Book is out now! The first Coloring Pixels book of its kind. Travel the world to some of the most famous landmarks with this DLC!
20 new images, all of them large at 200x150 pixels!
It's been an exciting couple of months for us here at ToastieLabs as we developed our newest game from ideas and drawings to the very nearly complete version of the game we have today!
Development started not long after we moved into the office in September.
Alpha build was set for 30th October 2020 and we managed to get to that milestone with plenty of time to spare to add to the game polish!
Alpha to Beta was a bit more tricky. We set the Beta build date for 20th November 2020 and felt like we had all the time in the world. We didn't anticipate going back into national lockdown and having to transition to working from home for 4-5 weeks! Our productivity was lower when working from home and it meant we had to push the Beta date back two weeks to the 4th December 2020.
Thankfully we planned some contingency and had the time to push back without knock-on effects!
After coming back to work in the office, Beta was reached on the new date and the build was sent to our Patreon supporters for playtesting. We want to thank our Patreons yet again for their amazing support!
And then here we are today. Gold release was dated for the 18th December 2020. We have pretty much done all we need for this! A little level designing is needed when we return to work in the New Year but otherwise, we are happy with the build!
