Patch Notes V1.16.0
New Features
Added support for the Advent 2 book.
Coloring Pixels now remembers your last open book. - So when you come to play the game next you can pick up exactly where you left off!
Added new Advent Specific Setting "Keep Old Advent Books Unlocked" - By default, old advent books will lock themselves and restart their daily unlocking cycle in the month of December. But with this setting enabled, advent books from previous years will always remain unlocked and playable. We wanted to continue to give people the excitement of completing each level as they are unlocked each day but didn't want to stop giving people access to content that they have paid for. We hope that this setting is a good compromise (>'o')>
Added new "UI Scale" setting - (default set to 1x)
Bug Fixes and Misc
Small bug fix for Discord Rich Presence, books with a space in them now show correctly. Instead of showing "Book1", it will display "Book 1" for example.
Renamed the "Advent" Book to "Advent 1".
Added better level names to the Advent 1 book.
Starting to drag from the UI no longer colors in pixels.
Discord suggestion: "New Game+" button is now the colour of the next new game plus level.
Coloring Pixels Socials!
A Big Thank You!
It has been over 2 months since our big transition to working full time to provide bigger and better content for you, and we want to say a big thank you to everyone who has been active in our growing communities!
With the extra work hours available to us due to working full time, we have had the opportunity to include you guys and give you a look behind the scenes!
For anyone looking to get more involved with our community for Coloring Pixels as well as new secret projects, here is a recap on what we now offer alongside our games!
That's right! We have an active, friendly community Discord server! Both of us on the Dev team are active in the Discord so it's a place to get the chance to chat to us, a great place to hang out with other Coloring Pixels fans and a good place to get first-hand news!
We wanted to document our progress in the office and so we started a weekly Dev Blog video series. We thought it would be a fun side project and a good way to be able to recap anything we have done. What we didn't expect was the overwhelming support and traction! Thanks to everyone who has kept up with us for the past 2 months. See the most recent video below and visit the channel to view our full playlist!
You guys are the kindest, most supportive group of players we could wish for. Overwhelming support and requests from the community led to us starting a Patreon. If you want to help out just a little bit more, now you can! We offer small rewards for now, such as credits in the YouTube videos and in-game, as well as 24 hours early viewing of the YouTube dev blog. In the future, we will also provide the opportunity to have your say on what direction to take Coloring Pixels.
All of this is optional and we are more than happy to continue our work without any Patreon support so please don't worry that you need to help out! Simply playing our games and reading our posts is more than enough support, so thank you!
If you do feel like getting involved, feel free to check out our Patreon!
If all of the above doesn't satiate your hunger for Toasties, you can also find us on Twitter or see us on our website!

The Halloween 2 Pack Is Out Now!
The Halloween 2 Pack Is Out Now!
The second instalment of the Halloween DLC book is here! Do you love Halloween as much as we do? If so make sure you check out the newest DLC! 20 new images all themed around the spookiest holiday of the year! The scary, the spooky and outright weird!
Added a slider to control the speed of panning around levels with the keyboard. - In v1.15.1 we fixed a bug where moving around levels was much faster than intended. It turns out that some of you liked that speed, so we are adding this slider to give you all the option to go faster if you wish :)
Added credits to the settings page - We recently set up a Patreon, for those who wish to support us even more than just buying and playing our games. One of the rewards is to have your name immortalized in the credits of our games! We didn't have credits in Coloring Pixels, so we thought it best to add one.
Hide Level Names and Images is now two separate settings - When enabled, this setting obfuscates the level image and name until you complete the level (to avoid spoilers). As requested by the community, this has been split into two separate settings to give you more control. So now you can choose to only hide the image and keep the level names visible for example. Anyone who had the setting enabled prior to this update will automatically have both enabled, so shouldn't notice any difference.
Bug Fixes and Misc
Bug fixes for the upcoming Halloween 2 book.
Fixed a bug where restarting a level with New Game Plus would cause it to scroll you down to the bottom of the book in the main menu (instead of remembering where you were).
Fixed a bug where music would start playing when launching Coloring Pixels with the music volume set to 0.
Removed the "Your Art" button from the main menu.

Coloring Pixels V1.15!
Version 1.15 Patch Notes!
This update, we just wanted to focus on giving Coloring Pixels some much-needed love and attention. Although mainly this update brings lots of back end improvements, there are plenty of small bug fixes included!
Bug Fixes & Misc
Upgraded Engine version
Dark mode is now much more consistent and reliable throughout the game.
New main menu font for book select buttons.
Book select button's text now consistently turns yellow when pressed. (Apparently for the top few books it stayed black?)
Using the scroll wheel will now only work while the mouse is over the game.
Altered the artist credit for Impact level on the Community 2 book.
Bonus Book:
Fixed broken tick image.
Added YouTube link.
When you follow the links, the book automatically opens.
When you open a level and you then go back to the main menu, the game remembers how far down you were scrolled in the level select part of the game. So if you are working on the later levels in a book, you don't have to scroll down every time.
The game closes MUCH faster. (about time o.o)
Steam Cloud sync is working again for Mac! In theory, you should be able to play on Mac, and your save file should transition to PC.
Edit
Patch Notes V1.15.1
Bug Fixes and Misc
Fix for the high-speed scrolling bug.
Added support for the Halloween 2 Book.
Updated the intro splash screen to use the new ToastieLabs logo.
Reduced the number of graphics settings (in the Unity launch popup) to "VSync Off" and "VSync On". Although there were previously 5 settings, the only thing that changed between them was VSync. Hopefully, this small change helps improve clarity for the setting.

ToastieLabs' official community Discord!
Hello, Community!
Toastie_Lee here again!
Something that has been requested for a while but we never had the time or manpower to officially run is a Discord server. Well, that changed when we moved into the Toastie Office!
We have had a Discord server running since the 8th September that we announced on our Social Media. Just over 50 of you are already taking part!
Now we have had a few weeks to figure out what we need to smoothly run our server, I am excited to extend the invite to the rest you!
The purpose of our server is to build a friendly community for everyone who enjoys our games to hang out together, as well as give you the chance to communicate directly with us here in the office in a more casual manner! All of our community announcements go to Discord first and we will also host exciting giveaways and competitions from time to time!
Please take a moment to read the rules of our server and remember to pick a role from the #roles page to see different channels for our games!
Your continued support makes all of this possible.
Keep on being Awesome!
