We're on Patreon! (Plus a New Free Horror Title)

Patreon

We had some awesome fans in the past who asked about ways to donate and/or support us and the creation of Concluse 2, and we'd like to share that we now have a Patreon. The Patreon is a way to support us in the form of a monthly subscription, while getting various rewards based off the amount pledged. Rewards can include access to patron-only posts (like behind the scenes looks at Concluse 2 development), early access to free games, access to exclusive games and game editions, beta access to paid titles, free download keys for paid titles, and even custom shirts and a place in the credits of our future games.

If you have interest in supporting us and the getting any of the above rewards, you can do so starting at just $1/month here: https://www.patreon.com/StudioSnowspotAndTAllenStudios

The Emulator

Now for another bit of news: We have released another free horror experience that we made for a week long game jam; in which we won both best game and scariest game. Though it has received multiple updates since. The Emulator is a short horror game based on the premise of finding a way to survive in a house with a killer released from the deep web. You can get The Emulator on itch.io or GooglePlay via the links below:

Patch Notes 5 - Higher Res Notes, 60+ FPS, Fixed Inverted Option

While hard at work with CONCLUSE 2, we wanted to address some of the last remaining issues players have reported in the past with CONCLUSE. The biggest of those being the hard to read notes. We have redone all of the ones we felt had been the most reported and caused the most difficulty in game. Below you can see a before and after of the 'infamous' sewer puzzle note:

The other two changes in this patch are the addition of a 60 fps option (many of you already know that by default the game is capped to 20), and a fix for the inverted controls option. We of course understand that not everyone wants to play the game with framerates experienced on the 20+ year old PS1, especially steamers who are also running recording software. The inverted controls fix removed the inverted x-axis, so that now only the y-axis is inverted.

The notes portion of this patch was also part of our mobile 1.3.9 update along with some scene specific tweaks.

Thank you for reading, we hope you're as excited as we are going forward with CONCLUSE 2!

Concluse 2 - First Screenshots Released

The first CONCLUSE 2 screenshots were tweeted out yesterday on Jon's twitter @Snowspot: You can view that tweet here. We hope you guys enjoy this little peek into what is to come.

CONCLUSE GooglePlay Launch

UPDATE: Full mobile version now free.

It has been exactly a month since we announced that Concluse was going to be making its way to GooglePlay, and I'm very excited to announce that the game is now available for download. The paid full version is a way to support us devs while we're working on Concluse 2 as well as a new way to experience the universe of Concluse. Get the full version while it's on sale this week at 2.99 USD, before it goes up to 4.99 USD. Or check out if the mobile version is for you by downloading and checking out the Demo version of the game, which allows playing up to the Hospital entrance.

What's Next?

Now that CONCLUSE boasts an options menu and has received 3 other patches addressing all of the bugs we've had reported, Jon and I have begun to take the next step in CONCLUSE's journey. Or should I say two steps..
CONCLUSE has always been larger than the scope of what is in this release, and with the amazing reception we've had thus far it likely won't come as a surprise that we have started on the next chapter: CONCLUSE 2.

But right now that isn't all we're working on. As Jon starts work on the first areas of CONCLUSE 2, I will be working on a full port for the GooglePlay store. CONCLUSE, the formerly lost ps1 game come to PC/Mac, is now on its way to mobile.

The full mobile version of the game will cost $4.99. With CONCLUSE 2 just starting production, the mobile version is a way for us to make back a few development costs. There will be a free demo released at the same time as the full version.

We have been amazed at the response to CONCLUSE , and feel very lucky to have such an awesome community here on Steam. We hope that you are as excited as we are, and that you will continue to follow us as we work on CONCLUSE 2 and our mobile port!
