Just wanted to give you all a heads-up, while I didn't stream today, we were hard at work squashing bugs left and right.
Interim Save System (so going between levels saving your equipment) is working as intended, so that will get pushed out this Hotfix. ːsteamhappyː
Slot Save/Load is NOT finished and will not be pushed out. There are a lot of things that need to get saved out and some items have various states that need custom logic to take into account for. So this is going to take a little bit longer to get right. Once it's done though, it should be relatively easy from here on out to get new items into the save system with ease. ːsteamhappyː

This is STILL Early Access...and there will STILL be bugs in this buildːsteamsadː, as well as some things we thought we fixed that may still be broken (or even new ones that we created ːsteamfacepalmː) (Like keycards duplicating in backpack...op bug I am currently fighting). We have 22 playtesters (roughly 15 new ones), but no one's perfect!

I went to the beach yesterday, gorgeous day...warm water...hot sun... plenty of sunscreen on (reapplied at least twice), and I still ended up with a freaking sunburn on my upper body.ːsteamfacepalmː

Current Status of the Game
Alright,
First and foremost, I was livestreaming and working on Sunday, trying to get the crashes that some of you all were experiencing post the Apt sequence...funnily enough... I never made it out of the Apt because the TV all of the sudden kept crashing me. Fixed that.
After returning from the Beach, I went ahead and built the game and went through the campaign past the apartment, and no crash, I tried 5 times, plus ran profilers just in case it was some spikes that were causing something. After not being able to reproduce it, I was like okay, didn't want it to be a waste of a day. So I checked out the City map for what was causing the performance issues, and I was able to figure it out! Woohooo 1 for 2.
Problem is... it's the zombies and the core manager for the zombie spawningːsteamsadː Lawrence deals with the AI, so I've given him my analysis and hopefully he'll be able to get a fix in there soon. Otherwise as a temporary measure, I could put some Alien Robots in there... Extraterrestrial Zed Special ? ːsteammockingː Nah, just kidding, but really, we'll figure it out.
Since I can't crash, I don't want to waste too much more time on it. Oh, speaking of the crash, this was fail, but all those bug reports that are being sent, are not getting received on my end. The build you are all on, sadly, does not have the correct information and so I'm not getting them. The next ones will though. Please continue sending them though, so you get used to it and don't forget to do it later when I do get them.ːsteamhappyː
So, going to work on Save/Load, let's finish that up and see what we can do for this week's hotfix/update (non content).
Once again, once we get those "Top Ten" issue out of the way, plus crashes, we'll start giving you all some content updates finally.

Crashing in some parts?
Have no fear, I'm on the caseːsteammockingː. Thanks to all those who have already submitted crash reports. Please don't just close out of them! Try to remember what you were doing at that time just before the hard crash and the crash reporter pops up!
Put that into the summary. Then hit that submit button! Try to play the game again without going into that particular area (if you can), and if it crashes again, please submit.
If it doesn't, well now you've narrowed it down even more for us!ːsteamhappyː
Crashes that are hard to reproduce and are random are really hard to fixːsteamsadː.
So every little bit of information helps us solve the problem fasterːsteamhappyː.

I am actually almost done with the new system and it should feel better and be less (hopefully not at all) buggy. It's going to go to the playtesters first before launching to the public though.

Teleport is functional again! Uses "blink" vs "out of body", and the distance was drastically reduced (it should't have been that long to begin with) to bring it more in line with the Smooth Locomotion.ːsteamhappyː (I know people are going to complain about it, so let's hear your justifications when you have to consider balancing between all forms of locomotion!)
Fixed getting stuck in the "Ready Room" (The one with the bodybag that is suppose to help you prepare for a game that was loaded from a save) by deleting the save/load system completely as it was too much of a mess. I just recently took it over, will be completely rewriting it.ːsteamsadː
FROM PLAYER FEEDBACK
(Experimentalːsteammockingː)Added Auto-Lift into the game/options menu, you'll find it under Gameplay in your watch. Auto-Lift will allow you to not have to worry about bending over to pick up items, or if you have your floor settings incorrect, to allow you to pick them up regardless.
There's a time-limit they will stay up in the air, and it only works in front of your body. At this time, it's also in Multiplayer but will be taken out in the near future. (It's a bit buggy, but should hold a few folks over for a bit and you won't be able to socket items for now as they just fall after a second)
