Our friends at Console Labs have been doing a great job recently, and as a result, we can finally bring full controller support to the PC version! (gamepad, steering wheel)
In addition, we are happy to announce that a new great programmer - Tomek - has joined our team and will help us with the further works on the game!
Endless mode is still in development. We decided to extend the mode with the new Most Wanted feature. On the information board you will be able to find photos of wanted criminals, who then need to be recognized and arrested.
Apart from that, we still have to add:
The possibility of skipping training
2 new police cars (Micros, Varilla)
A set of additional achievements (related to the endless mode)
Outpost upgrade level 4 (10 models)
As soon as we deal with these tasks, the Endless Mode will be unlocked!

We would like to bring you the latest news from Acaristan. According to our intel, work on the Endless Mode is going great, as proof of which KGP provided us with some photos from the Border Crossing in Karikatka.
The mode will include:
Extensive expansion of the outpost (roads, gates, garage, fences and more)
10 new police ranks
Over 20 entry regulations (including additional documents)
A set of new daily missions that you can perform at a convenient time (e.g. patrol the area or intercepting contraband dropped from the plane!)
Improved perception system
By order of the General Secretary himself, our friends at Console Labs started work on a Contraband Police console version (new and old generation). Their first task is to implement gamepad support (which will also be available in the PC version).

Week 4 Patch
Comrades!
This is the last update in the series of the post-launch fixes. From now on, we are completely focused on the Endless Mode work. Of course, we'll still read your suggestions and support you whenever you encounter any problem.
This week we've fixed the following issues:
Loading the last checkpoint sometimes didn't work.
Picking up a weapon during the Convoy and Prologue no longer blocks the "Armed to the Teeth" achievement.
Fix for getting stuck in the engine or inside the escapee's car.
Teleportation over long distances after getting out of the car.
Block on blowing up the car of the arrested person.
Cars will no longer get stuck in the Inspection Zone.
Enemies in the car will no longer block Post Attack completion.
Mission description may have appeared before we got the call.
You could stop a runaway car by asking a Comrade Repnin to fix the police car.
Block after killing a prisoner sent to the quarry.
Car could have changed its position after giving the prisoners to the Labor Camp.
Going to bed close to the morning misses the day.
Block after starting the engine from a place other than the driver's seat.
Parked cars will no longer slide on the ground.
We've also made some improvements:
Two additional slots for your game saves!
Additional items can now be found in the bodies of killed gangsters.
On the contraband digging mission, you can now find a shovel left by gangsters.
Invert mouse setting also works on the car's TPP camera.
We are pleased with the progress on the Endless Mode so far. It is scheduled for release in May 2023. You will definitely love all it's features such as:

Over 20 new entry regulations.
Random side missions every day (activated on request).

Our friends at FreeMind have been working on a new game that has just been released. As we are all part of one big developer family, we would like to spread this exciting news for a really deserving and fun game.

The situation with release bugs is mostly under control. We didn't expect you to help us so much even after the premiere! In order to meet your expectations, we've prepared new settings that will help you better adjust the game to your preferences.
From now on, in the gameplay options tab, you can:
Turn on and off hints about smugglers.
Adjust the length of the day (25,35,45 minutes).
Turn off head bobbing.
Change the crouch and aim mode from hold to toggle.
Toggle camera smoothing.
We've also fixed the following issues:
Missing texts (red text in the menu and game).
Game over at the sawmill shooting on day 5.
Blocked sleeping after serving all newcomers.
Loading stopped at 95%.
Some contraband was not shown in the inspection report.
Fixed bug with killing the driver when getting in or out.
You could stuck on Varila 4x4 hood when it closes.
Fixed sniper on the post tower.
There are some new improvements too!
Pressing the G key in the driver's seat will automatically start the engine.
From now on, you can always load the last checkpoint.
You won't be forced to turn on the siren on the first chase in the prologue.
You won't be punished for killing smugglers and prisoners.
Civilians now have less HP.
Doors can no longer be closed when the driver is getting in or out.

Week 2 Patch

For all of you who didn't like the sudden attacks on the outpost and road ambushes, we've introduced special Gameplay Options with the ability to disable these features. Additionally, you can now change the difficulty of opponents and even comparing document fields!
We've also added cloud game saves! You can finally synchronize game progress with your steam account and also play the game at GeForce NOW.
In addition, we were able to fix the following issues:
Corrupted save files will no longer cause the game to freeze when loading.
You can now catch any runaway even with the default police car.
Fixed some unexpected crashes during gunfights.
Fixed misjudged inspection due to papers background and stamp mistakes.
Newcomers wont turn in a strange way when getting into their car.
Achievements: Merciful, Perfect Inspector, Unstoppable are now obtainable.
Fixed a bug with incorrect death in the Crime Scene mission (Chapter IV).
Fixed disappearing subtitles during missions.
Fixed a bug where a player was blocked while using the work phone.
When the player finds no mistake in the documents, the inspection summary will show which document it was in.
Runaway will no longer ram other newcomers in the inspection zone.
We gave more time to search the car of the captured fugitive.
Fixed a bug that prevented the last mission from launching.
Prisoners will no longer escape from the car if the player is nearby.
We apologize for those problems and thank you for your understanding. With that big production, it's hard to avoid all the mistakes. Fortunately, there are fewer and fewer of them and soon we'll be able to fully concentrate on the Free Mode.

Week 1 Patch

As promised, we just released an update that fixes the following issues:
Acaristan was too dangerous. We have reduced the number of ambushes and police cars are now much more durable!
Accepting missions and answering the phone no longer cause an instant losing.
Problems related to the photo of drivers in the passport will no longer occur.
The inspection summary now shows the correct places in the smuggler's car where contraband was hidden.
The achievements First Investment, Steadfast, Double Agent and are now obtainable.
Constable Repnin had many car accidents. We told him to keep further away from the parked car.
Sometimes our opponents were too afraid of a fight and stayed hidden for too long. We gave them some vodka for courage! ːsteamhappyː
We fixed incorrectly displayed data in documents for languages: Chinese, Japanese, Thai.
We already have tasks gathered for the next patch, which we will release next week. Such as:
Random crashes during gunfight
Sometimes game loading blocks at 0%
Runaways are too fast! You can never catch a fast one with your Azam.
Blocking in various places in the area.
Fix for the tower sniper (problems with shooting)
Blocker on lumbermill shootout (day 5)
Incorrect stamp checking
At the same time, we are working on the Free Mode, which you often ask for. There will be many additional settings that will allow you to adjust the gameplay style to your preferences. (Shootouts on/off, ambushes on/off etc.)

6 years of work, ~1400 days of challenges and difficult technical and artistic work... Everything pays off now when I read your positive reviews. When I see you notice every detail we've been working on. When I see on Youtube, Twitch how much you enjoy our game! 95% of positive reviews and 6500 player at the same time is the biggest reward a game developer can imagine...
I am deeply touched and grateful for how you have experienced our world, gameplay and all the work we put into Contraband Police. Thanks to you, we feel even more motivated to continue working on the game: creating add-ons, optimizing and fixing other issues.
In the interest of the highest quality of the game, tomorrow at 7PM CET we will introduce an update that fixes some of the issues you have already reported, e.g. too hard and frequent road attacks.

The entire Crazy Rocks Team has done a titanic job overcoming literally thousands of problems on the way to a shared vision of the game. Each of us put a piece of his heart into this work - a player's heart because we are also players!
This project would not have been created without the support of Kris, Alex and Kuba (PlayWay S.A.), who invested in it and trusted our actions until the very end - allowing for the implementation of more ambitious features and giving time for solid technical refinement.
We hope that you will enjoy our game and promise full technical support. We are also planning further development works, such as an additional mode (Inspector) - only at the outpost, no limit of days and additional side missions in individual locations. As usual, we will also listen to your ideas and implement the most interesting ones!
