Patch v0.1.37

Hello everyone! A hot batch of updates for ya!


  • Improvements to memory handling: we'll be improving this further in upcoming updates!
  • Fixed an issue where equipment sounds would loop forever
  • Added equipment phases for Fettuccine and Poutine
  • Removed delete save function in the standard options menu (you can delete saves from the new Profile menu instead)
  • Fixed purple poutine gravy
  • Better cutscene transitions from the menu
  • Improvements to cutscene video playback

Patch v0.1.35

Here's what's new in today's patch!


  • Added a new profile save slot system with the ability to have up to six custom saves. Note that once you run the game for the first time your save will be converted to this new system and you will not be able to roll back to older versions of the game with your current save. Because of this we've gone ahead and disabled all branches that had older versions of this game available.
  • Added better transitions and texture preloads to cutscenes from the main menu.
  • Fixed an issue with cutscenes that could cause the game to crash.
  • In-game VO adjusted (it is now possible to adjust the volume of these).
  • Base difficulty for non-upgraded ingredients increased. We plan on further adjusting this in future patches.


Next on our list is improving food polish and systems, and next week I hope to make a large post on our plans for updates for June and July! Take care and have a nice weekend!

Patch v0.1.33

We're now moving to a new version number system to better define large and small updates. Here's what's new in v0.1.33!


  • Video Cutscenes can now be paused, restarted, and have volume adjusted on the fly.
  • Video subtitles added.
  • Implemented carousel option arrows.
  • Fixed crash when tabbing out of a cutscene.
  • Adjusted colors of all buttons in-game for better visibility.
  • Fixed timer "pulse" during side quests and after hours scenes.
  • Added some ambient sound during several cutscenes.
  • Improved texture management to prevent eventual crashes on some machines during long playthroughs.
  • Updated two videos that had a small spelling error.
  • Dialogue now draws on top of all other UI, fixing text and portrait clipping in-game.
  • Updated to the latest version of Game Maker's engine code.

Patch v0.32


  • Cutscene skipping recipe select fixed ("variant" crash before day starts)
  • Removed large text (such as "NICE/GOOD") from in front of foods after they are completed
  • Removed masking from second situation panel making hold / press counts visible
  • Added Moraine / Helianthus specific delivery robots


We are now working on video cutscene subs for the next patch, coming very soon!

Patch v0.30


  • Improved texture memory handling. While this adds a small performance improvement this paves the way for greater technical performance with future updates.
  • Adjusted the volume of the Preacher's sermon in the Church of the Sun God.
  • Started adding content in prep for future content updates.


Soon we will be discussing our plans for immediate gameplay updates, focusing on progression and gameplay. We're also working on subtitles for video cutscenes and more accessibility options. Thanks again for the support!

Patch v0.29


  • Ingredient colors changed for better visibility.
  • Names of ingredients now appear on top of the panel.
  • Steam Achievements live (a previous patch was pulled due to a glitch, it should be live now).
  • Hold button progress now resets after a fail.

  • Added Steam Achievement support

  • XP counting during the Day Complete screen is done slower, to better show progress.

Hotfix v027


  • Changed the NOT modifier to only appear when you select that specific perk.
  • Steam Screenshot function is now active.
  • Food now stays on screen a split second longer after completing.

Hotfix v0.26


  • Fixed non-arrow keys displaying correctly
  • Improved Gamepad auto-detection and added an option to choose control type
  • Fixed Order Timer pacing- it will now continue immediately after a recipe is finished, which increases the difficulty a bit.

Hotfix Patch 5/15

Hi everyone! We're going to be rapidly patching the game over the next few days as any issues get reported over on our Discord (be sure to post there if you have any issues- we're actively monitoring that server!)

Here's what's patched so far:


  • Fixed issue when trying to skip certain cutscenes
  • Fixed rare issue where players would see a black screen upon starting up a new game (you can now bypass it via Escape). We are looking into the rare video issues for some users now.
  • Keybinding no longer causes the game to crash.
  • Fixed some overlapping audio issues.
  • Fixed some recipe names staying on the End of Day screen in Moraine.



You can always roll back to the previous version via the beta branches if you experience any issues. Thank you for all the support!
