Update 1.0.8 (with a seeded special challenge mode)

Hi fellow space captains,



the new update is here and we've got some fine things for you :)
For a fast update, please log out and back into Steam.

So, first off let me tell you what's new:

  • Special Early Access Cosmob hunt (seeded challenge mode)
  • Planet traits display on the solar map
  • Space station interior
  • Pirate ships roam the outer rims and are ready to attack you if you come too close
  • ETA display during flight

Make sure to post some screenshots of your challenge run to compare yourself to all the other captains ;)

And of course we've improved some stuff:

  • Shipyard offers a cancel option while placing rooms
  • The space station now has an external view mode (with zoom-on-ship feature)
  • Lots of new sounds
  • More missions and random events
  • Tons of bugfixes and maybe some new bugs for you to find ;)


Other than that we're checking out all of the inspiring pirate names that were submitted on our facebook page and we are going to pick some winners :)

Next Hotfix
Hey fellow space captains,

the next hotfix is up and running, but it's still under the same version number. Just log out and back in and you should get the new update.

We fixed the following:
- No more taking on the wrong quest, when you switch between Bulletin Board and the Solar Map
- Current quests won't disappear after closing/saving the game
- The shield is now fully operable during fights
- Buying ammo works after directly starting up the game
- Hull repair is fixed and you'll get the correct price for reparing

It's contest time ;) Arrr! Our pirates are in need for some awesome names!

We are looking for the most creative pirate names to integrate into our game.

And since we met some of the awesome guys from Pixel Piracy at Gamescom in Cologne, what could fit better than giving away 5 Pixel Piracy Steam keys for the best voted names in the comments of this facebook post :)

First Hotfix Build (1.0.7.78)
Hey fellow space captains,

thanks to your great feedback we were able to fix some issues:

Hotfix Build 1.0.7.78:

  • Fixed game hangup in the “Prologue”-quest (grey/dark screen). Everybody should now be able to complete the “Prologue”
  • Disabled Debug Hotkeys (which accidentally could lead to crashes or undesired behaviour)
  • Diplomacy GUI: Fixed layout and scrolling lists
