[Dev Notes #5] Integration And In-House Service Expansion
Dear CEOs, It has already been half a year since the launching of the CounterSide Global server. It is my great honor that I was able to introduce CounterSide to the Global audience.
Today’s news is about the integration and in-house service of CounterSide’s KR and JP servers.
In February of 2023, the publishing contract with Nexon will expire, hence the KR and JP servers will merge with the Global App while turning into an in-house service for KR and JP servers. After the integration, the application will give CEOs the option to choose between Korean and Global servers.
Korean server has the longest servicing period and the most in-game content, hence the Korean server will continue to support only the Korean language. The Japanese server will completely integrate with the current Global server, where CEOs in the Japanese server will have the option to transfer the account to the Global server.
For current Global CEOs, there will be no changes before and after the integration.
We hope this integration and the expansion of in-house service could be taken as a festival for all of us.
We are also planning a huge event for the integration. Other than some exclusive rewards for those who integrate into our Global application, the integration rewards will also be given to the Global server CEOs.
For more details on the special event gifts, please look forward to the future announcements which will be posted for Global CEOs as well.

Refunds for rearmament issues that occurred between 17:00 to 21:30 (UTC+9) or 03:00 to 07:30 (UTC-5) on the 8th of December have been completed.

As for the unit data for SSR units, they were refunded as Task Planet Points.

(Replaced with English) - A fix where skill levels 6 or above for rearmed units reset to 5. Compensation for all CEOs who have been affected will be sent out after all the data has been compiled.
Announcement On Prices Difference Phenomenon
Dear CEOs, There is a phenomenon where prices of In-App Products (IAP) are different from the Patch Notes posted earlier.
The current phenomenon is caused by differences in Google, Apple, and STEAM’s product pricing policy differences, which is also affecting the prices of collaboration product’s prices.
CounterSide’s pricing is based on Apple’s USD Price Tier.
With this pricing tier, the prices are automatically converted based on recent Apple’s policy changes on prices on IAP.
Steam’s price is based on Apple Price Tier, and the final price is charged based on where each CEO is located in.
Google is in a different condition, hence causing a huge fluctuation in the price. Studiobside is in Korea, hence every Google IAP is set in KRW. With the recent huge global exchange rate fluctuations, every currency’s exchange rates compared with KRW along with taxes and platform policies are causing the current phenomenon.
Future pricing announcements will be based on Apple Tier to minimize confusion.
Because of the daily changes in the exchange rate, we have difficulties providing every CEO with equivalent services.
Again, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, and please review once more when CEOs are purchasing goods from the Google Play store.
