After the update, a special cutscene will roll right after the main login screen. This cutscene is a short story about how the five hololive English -Myth- (hereinafter “holoMyth”) members came to CounterSide.
Now, this cutscene will only play ONCE and there is no way to watch it again.
Therefore, make sure NOT to tap too much when logging in to the game for the first time after the update to avoid skipping the cutscene by accident!!

To compose faster, click Auto Select to quickly add them to Ina’s cauldron.
By selecting the Fusion button, the magic begins. The number of required figures for the next rarity differs by rarity. Every composition results in a RANDOM tier higher figure. The awakened composition will result in a RANDOM Awakened figure.

1. Squad Name Customization
▷ A squad name customization feature has been added.
To customize the name, 1.Click the change option above 2.Type in the name you wish below. ※ The ban word list will be applied here as well. 3.Click OK to apply the change.
2. Relic Equipment Filter Add-on ▷ Under Equip Type, a Relic Gear filter option has been added.
3. Gauntlet Update a. Gauntlet Ups & Bans has been updated. - The number of Ups will be increased from 3 to 4
- The following effects of Bans stay the same: → The banned units will not receive the leader bonus → Decrease DMG & Increase DMG Taken stats are “extra stats” on the original damage calculation equation
- The following effects of Bans are added:
→ The below stats will be decreased
1.When attacking, Decreased DMG Given 2.When defending, Increased DMG Taken 3.Attack Speed 4.Skill Haste
- The decreased stat per ban is as below:
→ 1 Ban = -10% for all Stats above, except +10% for Increased DMG Taken → 2 Bans = - 15% for all Stats above, except +15% for Increased DMG Taken
※ Extra bans after the second will penalize by -5%/ban, +5%/ban for Increased DMG Taken
▷ 3 Bans = -20%, 4 Bans = -25% and so on.
b. The policy for gauntlet score reset after a season will be updated.
→ The reset will be based on the league the CEO was in when the season ended.
Strategy Battle
- Diamond ~ Challenger > Diamond 2 - Platinum > Platinum 3 - Gold > Gold 3 - Silver 1 and below > Base score reset of that league
Ranked Battle
- Challenger > Master 4 - Master ~ Grandmaster > Master 5 - Platinum ~ Diamond > Platinum 5 - Gold > Gold 5 - Silver 1 and below > Base score reset of that league
c. Strategy Battle UI Improvement
The UI will be updated similar to that of the NPC battle to check the opponent’s squad formation quickly.
→ The blind system will still apply → The UI will stay the same on the Strategy-Revenge
d. Ranked Battle’s matchmaking system will be updated.
- When a certain matchmaking time has passed for a player ranked Grandmaster 3 and above, the matchmaking system will then also start considering the combat point as a factor to find an opponent.
e. A notification popup will show when one or more units in a squad are not equipped with an item in the following situations:
→ Pressing “start battle” in Strategy Battle → Pressing “select” after forming a defense squad in Strategy Battle → Pressing “find opponent” in Ranked Battle
f. Gauntlet league information button will be updated
- The league information tab has been improved from a button to a League Info button.

7. Background Music (BGM) CounterSide’s background music is updated so that the list arranges in order when the BGMs' creation date. This will reset the BGM settings after the update.
8. Management Guide A guide on knockback is added to the Management Guide. Management Guide can be found in Settings > Manage Account > Management Guide (on the right hand side)
