Creativerse R50 - Elfi’s Toy Drive
Experience the Column Craze!
Greetings, Creators!
This update is all about three things: Greater stability. Improved performance. Column blocks shaped from the finest, pointiest, shredded leaves.
Stability & Performance
We heard your feedback that game performance is due for a tune-up, and we've dived deep under the hood to make impactful improvements with the goal of getting Creativerse to run as smooth as a Miru's central eyeball (which we assume is pretty smooth, although we're not gonna get close enough to a Miru to find out).
Importantly, with this update Creativerse is now a 64-bit game - an upgrade we expect will significantly improve stability and reduce crashing.
A Cornucopia of Columns
"I don't care about all that technical mumbo jumbo; give me round things!" - someone, probably
We've got you, fam. Get thee to a processor to start churning out gloriously round column versions of eighteen of your favorite blocks (all free in the core game, btw).
So fire up a more stable, more performant Creativerse today and experience... the Column Craze!
New Features and Content
18 new column blocks - free for everyone!
Lumite Column (process Lumite Wall)
Corrupted Stone Column (process Corrupted Stone Wall)

Improved sound loading
Reduced entity unloading cost
Other minor improvements
Elevation indicator added to death statue compass UI element

Try different index values and sprite=”icons_01”, too!
Bugfixes

Fixed incorrect “stick” weapon sometimes appearing on the character equipment screen
Fix for invisible textures on slabs and slopes in certain placement configurations

* An overwhelming majority of our players are running 64-bit operating systems and won't have to do anything but enjoy a more stable gameplay experience. However, a very small subset of players are still running 32-bit versions of Windows, which are no longer supported. If you're one of those players, we've put together this FAQ to help.
Creativerse R49 - The Column Craze!
Creativerse Goes 64-bit on November 15th!
Hello Creators,
Over the past few months, we have investigated reports of reduced performance and worked hard on changes that will reduce crashes and improve overall game performance. Our update tentatively scheduled for November 15th will contain a number of performance optimizations, and will upgrade Creativerse to a 64-bit client.
Upgrading to a 64-bit client will address a majority of memory-related crashes players report and set Creativerse on a path for more ambitious content. A vast majority of our players are already utilizing 64-bit operating systems, and are all set to enjoy the improved gameplay. A small number of players however, are still running 32-bit versions of Windows which will no longer be supported with the update release
In preparation for the release, we have put together an FAQ to help you make sure your system is prepared:
MAC USERS:
<*>I use Mac OS X, will I be able to play after the update?
Mac OS X is a 64-bit operating system, so you are all set!
WINDOWS USERS:
<*>How can I tell if I am using a 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows?
Use this guide. Follow the instructions for your version of Windows under "Determine if Windows Vista, 7, 8 and 10 is 32-bit or 64-bit"
<*> How can I tell if my computer can run a 64-bit version of Windows?
Use this guide. Follow the instructions under "Windows CPU type"
<*>Okay, I'm running a 32-bit version of Windows and my and my CPU does not support 64-bit. Can I still play?
Unfortunately this means you won't be able to play since you cannot install the 64-bit version of Windows on your system without an upgrade.
<*>Alright, I'm running a 32-bit version of Windows and my CPU does support 64-bit
You're in luck! This means you're using a 32-bit version of Windows but your CPU can run a 64-bit version, so you may be able to upgrade.
Edit: Updated the projected date of the release to Wednesday, November 15
Pumpkiru's Candy Campaign Ends Soon!
The Great Pumpkiru's sweet tooth has nearly been laid to rest and is almost ready for its yearly slumber! Pumpkiru's Candy Campaign will officially end on November 14th, so make sure to log in and trade him for those pumpkin treasures before he leaves!
You guys did an amazing job and we couldn't be prouder. Can you believe that over 1,500,000 idols were destroyed!? That's a lot of zeroes!
FAQ:
What about the idols? Will they still work?
Idols will continue to work normally after November 14th, but they will no longer be available in the store or as a Daily Login Reward.
What can I do with all this leftover candy?
Candy can be traded to Pumpkiru up until the time of his departure on November 14th. After that time, it's your choice: will you save the candy for next year, or enjoy the sweets yourself?
What will happen to the new costumes?
We’re planning to leave the Halloween-themed costumes in the store for a while as we build up a wider selection of costumes, but it’s possible in the future they would start to be available only seasonally.
Will the Great Pumpkiru return?
Yes! And if Pumpkiru Jr does well enough in school, he may even get to participate a bit more next time!
Costumes are here!
Surprise, Creators!
Pumpkiru’s Candy Campaign is still in full swing, so there’s plenty of time yet to banish thieving ghosts back to the spirit realm and return mounds of succulent candy to a monstrous yet admirably well-dressed Miru NPC in exchange for horrifying seasonal recipes and something called... “bat juice.” But would Halloween even be Halloween without costumes? Thankfully we’ll never have to find out, because costumes have come to Creativerse!
This small but sugary-sweet second Halloween update establishes the foundation for a new premium costume system. We’ve added a Hauntster’s claw-ful of (cosmetic, totally optional) costume pieces - like the Great Pumpkiru’s iconic top hat! - to the store, and are planning to add many more in the future.
We’re also continuing our focus on improvements and bugfixes, and we expect a fix for collisions and the upcoming upgrade to a 64-bit client to help make your play experience a bit smoother.
New Features and Content
Costumes - just in time for Halloween!
Costumes are premium, account-bound cosmetic swaps that can be worn in any world.
Heads, hats, gauntlets, weapons, and the flashlight are currently supported.
We’ll unlock more costume slots and add many more costumes in the future!

Note:
We've been monitoring reports of excessive crashing over the last couple releases, and we're working actively to reduce crashing and improve the gameplay experience. One major step towards eliminating memory-related crashes will be for us to upgrade Creativerse to a 64-bit version.
For the huge majority of our players, this will be a seamless transition, and you won't have to do anything but enjoy the improved performance. However, a very small subset of our players are currently running 32-bit versions Windows, which will cease to be supported when Creativerse becomes 64-bit. If you're not sure whether you're on a 32 or 64-bit OS, we've compiled some informative links in this thread.
We're announcing this change now so everyone has plenty of time to make sure they're 64-bit compatible. We'll absolutely post again with a more definite timeframe as we get closer to making the switch to 64-bit.
