Version 1.0: Creekside Creep Invasion is Released! Plus New Costumes!

Version 1.0
After two year in development Creekside Creep Invasion is out! We aren't done working on the game yet, we will continue to add content and fix any bugs you might run into. To celebrate the release of version 1.0 I added three new costumes for you to unlock, I'm not telling you what they are. Patch notes below, and thanks for your support!


  • 3 New Costumes: I'll let you find out what they are.

  • Change: The Invisible Man costume's passive is now poisoning enemies that touch you instead of random invisibility.

  • Fix: I fixed a bug I introduced last patch that would crash the game if you opened a level up crate on the sewer lid.


Wednesday is launch day!

I will be patching the game to version 1.0 Wednesday! There will be three new costumes (bringing the number of costumes to 21!) and a few bug fixes. Thanks for your support. Beta 1.5: Leaving Early Access Oct. 11th!! Beta 1.5 Six New Armor Items and New Feedback Flairs!

Kellie Decided to add some graphics to some of the feedback you get during play, so I added those and they're great! Also she told me how stupid it was that some stat icons are letters and others are symbols and she was right again, so I changed them. We are leaving early access October 11th, next Wednesday, less than a week from now! We will continue to update the game after that, but at a slower pace, maybe. I would like to wait to release bigger patches after release but I struggle to hold new content back, so we'll see how it goes. Thanks for all your help and see you on the new release page Wednesday!   • New Feedback Flairs: Kellie gave a bunch of the graphical feedback a make over. Things like leveling up, unlocking an upgrade, killing guys with power gloves, ect, now have a cool graphic to go with them.

  • New stat icons. It didn't make sense that some were letters and others symbols, so they're all symbols now.

  • New Armor Item: Bubble Dash. You leave a trail of bubbles when dashing that traps enemies.

  • New Armor Item: Bullets Can Explode. There's a 20% chance for bullets to explode when hitting an enemy.

  • New Armor Item: Electric Skipper. It's like the regular Skip-it but also shoots electric bolts.

  • New Armor Item: More Fire. When creating a fire (Molotovs, Dash Fire, ect..) fires are bigger.

  • New Armor Item: Free Armor Repair. You can repair your armor for free when you find a repair bench.

  • New Armor Item: Psychic Molotovs. Molotovs have longer range and seek out enemies.

  • Added a notice when using a crowbar that you have one less.

  • Change: You now need to hold E(or X if using a controller) to use crowbars. This will keep you from opening the sewer on acident when trying to pick something up.

  • Change: Poison damage caused by the Poison Bullets armor no longer overwrites bullet damage it now stacks causing much more damage.

  • Change: Chance to Trap Enemy Bodies armor item has changed to always trap enemy bodies, so it's useful now.

Beta 1.4: 16 New Maps and 4 New Armor Items!

Beta 1.4 Armor, maps and fixes this week. Next week I'm adding some new feedback flairs that Kellie has been working on. So, for instance, when you kill a guy with a rat it will look much cooler! Patch notes below!



  • 4 New Downtown Maps.

  • 4 New Suburban Maps.

  • 4 New Carnival Maps.

  • 4 New Bottomless Pit Maps.

  • New Armor Item: Flaming TP. Toilet Paper ammo burns.

  • New Armor Item: Attack Flies. Flies from Mummies attack your enemies instead of you.

  • New Armor Item: Blast Shield. Creates a blast wave around you when you're damaged.

  • New Armor Item: Big Bang Fireworks. Fireworks ammo creates larger explosions.

  • Toilet Paper ammo now catches on fire when shot through fire.

  • Made Double Stat items less common.

  • Fixed a glitch that caused your costume to revert to the Invisible Man when picking up a different costume while invisible.

  • Fixed a crash caused by picking up a health item on death.

  • Fixed the loud bang caused by many Buddy Dolls exploding at once.

  • Fixed an issue with the Super Sprayer not damaging the Swamp Monsters.

  • Fixed an issue with menu music increasing in volume when starting the game.

  • Added a graphical flair to one of the later costume's special.

  • Added more feedback to the Ninja and Heman sword attacks.

Beta 1.3: The Story! + 3 New Costumes!

The story is finally in! After months of hard work, Kellie has finished 40 story boards for the game. I have also added three new costumes for you to unlock. Usually I mention what the costumes are and what they do, but I thought from now on I'll let you discover them on your own. I also finally got around to changing all the music and sound from mono to stereo and everything sounds way better. Patch notes below!



  • The Story: There is now a story that is told between levels through 40 static slides.

  • 3 New Unlockable Costumes: I'll let you discover what they are.

  • New Armor Item: More Militia. When equipped you run into more militia help.

  • Music and sound fx are now in stereo, everything sounds much better now.

  • New company logo.

  • Increased chance to win the Lotto and Claw game.

  • Polished up various aspects of the game from collision issues to graphical assets.

The Story: Next Week!

We are now at the point of finalizing the story and, if all goes well, I should have it in next week! The story is made up of about 40 static slides incorporated between each level including an intro when beginning the game.

Beta 1.2: Pretty Menus!

I've spent the last week making the menus more appealing to look at and adding analogue stick controls to the menus. It looks so much better now! Patch notes below.



  • Added analogue stick controls to the menus when using a controller.

  • Increased resolution of all menu text.

  • Added new art to the main menu and the pause menu.

  • Added new art to the options menu.

  • Added a notice when a chicken gets a kill.

  • Added a new sound effect when using the ninja sword.

Beta 1.1: Downtown Beautification and 20 Bottomless Pit Maps!

I decided to redo some of the oldest Downtown maps because they looked pretty bad compared to the newer ones. I added branching paths to some and shrubbery and other decorations to others. Most of the maps should now be at the same quality level, there are some more that I may do another pass on later. Also Kellie is just a few slides away from finishing the story art! Patch notes below.


  • 20 New Bottomless Pit Maps Including 12 Danger Zone Maps.

  • 20 Redone Downtown Maps.

  • Fix: When using a controller switching from one angle to the opposite angle is faster.
