Beta 1.0: We Enter Beta With the Release of The Bottomless Pit!
Beta 1.0 The final area is in! You can now play the game from beginning to end! The ending is very abrupt at the moment and other things won't make sense until the story boards are integrated, but it's playable! After you beat the game you have the option to start a new game plus. I will be adding more maps and polishing up the final area(including adding specific final battle music) over the coming weeks leading up to release. Patch notes below.
p.s. I apologize leaving the unavoidable Danger Zones in for multiple patches. I entered them every time I had a chance so I didn't realize they were impossible to avoid.

Final Area This Week!
I'm going to be adding the final area this week so you will be able to play through the entire game! We won't have the story in for a little while still, but this is a major milestone. I'm also aware of an issue preventing you from avoiding Danger Zones and that will be fixed in the next patch. Also I broke the vampires; that will also be fixed.
Alpha 1.6: New Achievements, Carnival Danger Zones and New Shields!
Alpha 1.6 So I've added 28 new achievements! Like I mentioned in an earlier post, most are pretty basic but there are some fun ones in there too, like completing levels without getting hit. I have 38 maps completed for the final area "The Bottomless Pit". I want to have at least 50 maps finished before I add it to the live build, so one or two more weeks since I can't just make maps all day with everything that need to get done(I still need to make a final trailer, ugh). Kellie has finished the story boards for the first three areas and has began on the fourth(the Carnival). We are using four or five static story boards per area so she getting close to finishing. Patch notes below!
28 New Achievements.
New Armor Item: Critical Shield. You are shielded from all damage for a moment after landing a critical hit.
New Armor Item: Temporary Shield. You are temporarily shielded from all damage when entering a new map.
12 New Carnival Danger Zones.
Change: After you have triggered all the tool tips you will begin getting less intrusive reminders and new tips written on the street in the first map you enter.
Change: Enemies now react to being shot or shot near even when you are out of aggro range.
Fix: Fixed issue with Super Sprayer ammo when using a controller causing extremely short range when bullet speed is randomized to too fast a speed.
Fix: Fixed a crash related to the level up crate being created on top of a creep before the crate's damage was defined.
28 New Achievements This Week!
I'm adding 28 new achievements this week! Most are pretty standard beat this boss, try this feature type stuff, but the most fun are achievements for beating each area without getting hit. A few will be unattainable until I add the final area to the live build.
Alpha 1.59: Combo Shot Ammo, Chance Power Ups/Downs, Ammo Makeover and Grave Danger!
Alpha 1.59 Combo Shot ammo is a new fun way to add over 500 more variations to your already randomized weapons! Also there is now a way to lose stat ranks with the new Chance item you'll encounter on your adventures. Do you pick it up and risk losing a stat rank or being struck by lightning? I've added two more Super Ammo types, there had only been one of these in the game so far so this should add some more interesting possibilities.
Kellie has been continuing her tireless work on the story board and they're looking great! Besides all the stuff in this patch, I've been working the last two weeks on the final area still and the final confrontation. Patches will not be scheduled weekly now that we only have less than two months to release. I may still release a patch weekly, but sometimes I may not if I'm working on something that I can't finish in a week(like adding the story for instance, or the final area). Patch notes below!

New Feature: Combo Shot Ammo. Combo Shot ammo has a chance to happen every time you reload. If your gun rolls a Combo ammo you will be firing two different ammo types at the same time(it's rad!).
New Power Up: Chance. A Chance power up resembles an animated die, when picked up the results can be positive or negative.
New Rare Super Ammo: Chicken Gun.
New Rare Super Ammo: Hive Shot.
New Armor Item: Dash Fire. Creates a trail of flames while dashing(This gets crazy when stacked with Eternal Flame and the Dinosaur costumes immunity to fire).
New Armor Item: More Combo Shot. When wearing this armor piece you have a 1/4 chance instead of 1/15 to roll a Combo Shot ammo type when reloading.
Ammo Make Over: I have redone and added new effects for many ammo types; Bowling Balls, Water Balloons, Eggs, Crow Eggs, Toilet Paper, Basket Balls, Tennis Balls, Candy Corn, and Frisbees.
12 New Cemetery Danger Zones.
Change: Crows spawned from crow eggs now last quite a bit longer, so they have become much more useful(they block bullets if you didn't know).
Fix: I had forgotten to add the objectives(antennas,neighbors,ect) to Danger Zones so you would miss it if you entered one when your objective was supposed to be in the next room. They are in now.
Alpha 1.58: New Armor Durability Feature + 14 New Armor Items!
Alpha 1.58 Fourteen new armor pieces including some more cursed armor! Big change; armor now loses durability when entering new maps. The default durability is 15, so after 15 maps are completed the armor piece will break if you don't repair it before that point. You can check the durability next to the armor icons on the left of the HUD. To repair your armor you need to find a repair bench and pay $25, this also destroys any cursed armor you may be wearing. I'm not releasing a patch next week because we are now less than two and a half months from release and I need to focus on the final area next week to make sure there are no unforeseen setbacks and then the following week I will have a new patch(not with the final in area yet). Patch notes below!
New Feature: Armor Durability. Armor now degrades over time and is destroyed if not repaired before durability reaches zero.
New Feature: Armor Repair Bench. You can repair all your armor and destroy all cursed armor for $25 at this shelf.
New Armor Item: Expert Armorer. Armor durability is raised from 15 to 30.
New Armor Item: Slow Loot Goblins. Loot Goblins run at half the speed.
New Armor Item: More Loot Goblins. Loot Goblins are more common.
New Armor Item: No Flies. Mummies don't spawn flies.
New Armor Item: Energy Shield. A shield that protects you from all damage at the cost of durability, when it's durability reaches zero it's destroyed.
New Armor Item: Objectives Repair. Completing your level objectives(like breaking an antenna or rescuing a neighbor) will repair your armor and destroy cursed armor.
New Armor Item: Proximity Barrels. Barrels explode when creeps get near them.
New Armor Item: Barrels of Barrels. More barrels spawn.
New Armor Item: Slower Skels. Skels are slower(skels are the black and white guys that runs at you).
New Armor Item: One Shot Zombies. Zombies, including Zombie Chickens, die(again) in one shot.
New Cursed Armor Item: Contaminated Food. While wearing this armor food hurts you when consumed, and it's green.
New Cursed Armor Item: Mimic Invasion. While wearing this armor there is a greater chance trash cans will be mimics.
New Cursed Armor Item: Firework Duds. You thought you hated Fireworks before? While wearing this armor some of your fireworks don't explode.
New Cursed Armor Item: No Criticals. While wearing this armor you can not make critical hits.
Added a message to inform you when an enemy is killed by a rat or a lighting strike.
Added a tooltip about armor durability.
Added a tooltip about checking equipped armor with B or Tab.
Alpha 1.57 Danger Zones are a new uncommon map type that can sometimes be found on maps with branching paths.
(Here's some screen shots https://creeksidecreepinvasion.tumblr.com/post/163536075668/alpha-157-ghostly-killer-cars-delicious-zombie ) After defeating all the creeps on a map with branching paths a "DANGER!" warning will flash over your head when aproaching one of the danger zones. These maps won't necessary be more difficult than standard maps, but they challenge you in different ways. For instance you may need to cross traffic on a busy highway or you may need to loot a map while avoiding sniper fire. By entering these rooms you will also be given greater rewards like more trash cans, a couple of armor barrels, some mystery boxes, ect. I will be adding more than the twelve maps per area in the future. These are only available in the Downtown and Suburbs areas for now but I'll be adding them to the other areas soon. Alpha 1.56: Major Store Overhaul!
Alpha 1.56 So we've been working all weekend and into the week on a total store makeover. You now get more options right away and unlock brand new features later on. We have a a new ATM, a Lotto machine and a Claw Game(it's a gambling machine, there's no mini game involved). We also added a spot in the store where you can change out your ammo for $5 each change. New store overhaul.
ATM: When Unlocked you can deposit up to 99 dollars and withdrawal it when ever you're in the store.
Lotto Machine: When unlocked you can now play the lottery for 5 dollars for a chance to win up to 99 dollars.
Claw Game: When unlocked you can pay 5 dollars for a chance to win armor, costumes and stat items(including double stat items).
Change Ammo: You can now change your ammo type at this shelf for 5 dollars per change.
Clerk Dialogue: The store clerk will now make a comment when you enter the store and move towards him. His comments will change based on the stores upgrade status and other things.
Alpha 1.55: Final Area Preview and Patch!

This is where dr. Apollyon is getting all his demonic creeps from and where you will have your final confrontation with him! Kellie has now continued work on the story boards that we will be adding between all the levels so you can have a little context to your creep killing. The final area is still a little ways away but we are still on target for our mid-October full release! Patch notes below. More next week!
New Armor Item: Sunny Side Up. Egg area effect is tripled.

New Armor Item: Double Stat Crates. Level up crates always contain a double stat item.
New Armor Item: Shock Wave Crates. Level up crates create a shock wave when they land killing all enemies on the current map.
