here is a major update, the change:
create or rework some maps entirely to avoid redundancy,
add 4 characters in part 3 (with more story/dialog),
update tutorial screenshots,
more units can be deployed in map,
add the Death vocation with a new tome,
weapon now blink when effective,

here is another minor update, the change:

add two display for exp gain (radial or bar) and an option to toggle,
white flash fades out in non animated battle,
add an icon to specify damage type in the status screen,
max item use is displayed now.

Some news...

Hi everyone,

here are some news concerning the future of Clarent Saga Tactics. The fire emblem fanfic writer (Jessie Paluta also know as May ravenstaff online) has nearly finished the arranged script. The next update (v1.19) will cover chapter 25 to 30. I am working on it right now.

The last chunck will cover chapter 31 to 36 and will be in the next update (v1.20). Next update (v1.21) will be playtesting the game to death. I like the idea of v 1.21 to be the last. I think there is (always) room for improvement but to be honest I am tired of this project. The software (SRPGStudio) has come to maturity I think. There will always be new plugins, materials and other stuffs but I think I've done enough.

To have closure for this game will be great so I can concentrate on my other project (Clarent Saga Chronicles). I also felt that Clarent Saga Tactics should be a paid game but I can't go back so it will remain free. I think I will retire from game making after Clarent Saga Chronicles. I am a little sad but glad to have make these games, as long as people have fun with them, this make me happy.

Next project: RPG Maker project is going great! I have found interested writers.
And I am hard at work. Since it will be paid games, my next games
will take priority over Clarent Saga: Tactics.

Hi everyone,

here is another minor update, the change:
add a cheat to retrieve characters of part 1 and 2 in the bonus maps.
Note: This version has been only slightly playtested.

What's next: For the core of the game that should be it.
I will only update the game when there is a major update/feature of the SRPGStudio
software or new plugins. Of course I will also add the arranged script when it
is available.

Next project: I want to go back to RPG Maker and make another game, a RPG this time.
This is still a draft project so don't expect much for the moment.
