I think I will stop updating this game so beta v12 may be the very last update. Part of me want to make other game again (with rpgmaker) but I guess it is time to move on from all of this. I would like to thank everyone for their kind comments and supports. This game is certainly not a masterpiece but overall I think it is a fun and enjoyable experience. I think that is the most important thing. It was fun to create it and I definitely have no regrets.

beta v12 released!
Hi everyone,
this is another big update. The changes are: - a slightly reworked script (most notably near the end); - add some musics and remove unused music; - add a "cheating" difficulty walk (infinite turns and your characters can't die) - remove a RPG Maker RTP Background; - add an ending CG; - some minor gameplay adjustments here and there.
Need to playtest again many times, but this is the definitive version so enjoy! Once I have finished playtesting, I will work on a french version.

the challenge difficulty has been released! This difficulty pushes the game to the limit, as I barely manage to beat it. It is doable but sometimes felt unfair and unforgiving. This game is already targeted to niche gamers, and this difficulty will only appeal to a minority of this niche.
I need to rework the story/script and music. The final version will be released soon!

beta v10 released!
Hi everyone,
I have found new motivation in finishing this project! Minor changes: Druids and Lich have different sprites. The big change here is the addition of a very hard mode. So far the difficulties are: Easy Normal Normal+ (formerly hard) Hard (formerly very hard) Very Hard (new difficulty) Challenge (coming soon)
I will add soon a challenge difficulty (Right now it is displayed ingame but it is not finished so don't choose it). The very hard difficulty is not that hard, because I want a fun and fair experience. The challenge difficulty will be for hardcore masochist gamer so be warned!
Once I am done I will fully rework the story and script. Since I am french native, I will make a french version first then translate it to english. The music from RPG Maker will be changed with one more fitting to SRPG.

First I would like to wish a happy new year to all of you! Like the title suggest, here are some statements: 1) I have rested well but I am not sure if I want to put more work into it... 2) The last review was a negative one but I loved it because it points out well some default and shortcomings of my game (namely the difficulties and story). 3) Maybe I will add a challenge difficulty (who will be very hard), if I do so I will rename the difficulies: hard -> normal+ and very hard-> hard 4) I feel that I can still improve the story, the script and the overall presentation but it will be a lot of more work... 5) Vestaria Saga is out on steam and it is clearly a better game in every way (graphics, story, music, gameplay) than mine. Still the game is oddly difficult and not newcommer friendly at all, and it cost 19.99$ (way overpriced in my opinion)! 6) So far I have around 2500 sales, with 2500 more I may finally be able to add steam cards. 7) I have low motivation and other priority right now so don't expect much...

Hi everyone,
sorry for not updating the game recently. This project felt like a roller coaster to me (there are constantly high points and low points.) Enjoy this update, here I fixed some bugs, the script for part 3 has been changed/overhauled.
What the game need to leave the beta state: recheck everything/playtest the game to death.
I have lost a lot of motivation right now. I will take a long vacation so this will be the last update for a while. I will replenish spirit and move a step backwards on this project. I hope to come back in 2020 to finish this game.

Hi everyone,
here is a minor update. I have replaced the title font with a new one. The screenshots tutorial explaining the game mechanics have been updated.
What need to be done: -check the script, -add support convo for part 3; -playtest every difficulties (so 4 times!)
Important: -the trailer isn't up to date. I need to make a new one.
What I can do with more time and sales: -add a demo, -add steam cards, -a french version (not really motivated with this one, sorry for french people who doesn't know english).
