Critical Gravity has Released in Early Access

Dear Steam Group,

Thank you for taking an interest in Critical Gravity Early Access and thank you to those early purchasers supporting the game in development.

The game is definitely rough and while it is playable some features do not work as well as they should. The following list contains some of the issues being worked on now.

* Controls - Controllers that are not Wheel/Pedal combos tend to be over sensative for steering, as with many race games, so a dampening setting is being added as well as a custom deadzone for axis calibration. This should allow drivers to use an XBox360 or Steam Controller without over steering being an unresolvable problem. Better control will be a constant point of improvement. Please feel free to post your comments and suggestions in the community forums. They will be greatly appreciated.

* Mouse - There are currently two mouse cursors in the game when using a hardware mouse. This issue is being addressed.

* Race start countdown - Will be uniformly applied through all tracks in an upcoming patch.

* Flipped Over Stuck - While you should be able to hit "escape" and select an option to "Resume", "Reload," or "Quit" track there may be an autoflip implemented to recover a stuck vehicles in future patches.

* NPCs - NPCs slip backwards on race start. Ideally NPCs will eventually be Machine Learning AIs that will also not slip backwards on start.

* User Guide - Initial user guide is on the way.

* Low Speed Spin Out - The geometry of the track causes the car to spinout while accerating and turning at low speeds. This is partially due to the pipe-like shape of the track. When starting to turn at lower speeds, while also under acceleration, the tires will loose traction causing the car to spinout. Try using less gas when turning.

Critical Gravity is near Early Access release

'Critical Gravity' alpha is nearing Early Access release for players who can't wait. It is also an opportunity for those player and developers who would like to steer the game to give their input and feedback at this early stage.

There are many non-functioning parts to the game so it will be heavily discounted in Early Access.
