March 15 patch notes

  • Added more dungeons into the first castle.

March 11 patch notes

This patch updates the following:

  • Removed the soft/hard targeting images around enemies.
  • Added a new in-game time counter for each profile to display time spent playing that character. This time can be accessed by viewing the talent menu or pressing N.
  • Rounded the right mana orb value when it's displayed so that it doesn't clutter the UI.
  • Inverted the 'Level Up!' text UI that appears when the player levels up so that it can be read left to right.
  • Lowered the speed, acceleration, and jump force of all characters.
  • Fixed a bug causing Raining Dark Smoke to not firing in front of the Skeleton Mage.
  • Increased the number of enemies that can attack the player (before this would have been limited to 1).
  • Increased the mana cost for the Mana Shield ability.
  • Fixed second tower dungeon enemies stuck in the ground.
  • Fixed pause menu not working when the Quit button was pressed.
  • Fixed other various bugs and changed more enemy UI to use a new format without a border or nameplate text.

March 10 patch notes


  • Fixed bugs with the HUD navigation bar where it wouldn't rotate with the player's direction.
  • Added player portraits unique to each class to the talent spec canvas HUD (when N is pressed).
  • Removed Player names from the World Space.
  • Moved the Talent Point and Quest Manager icons to the pause menu.
  • Updated the Skeleton Mage's primary ability (left mouse button attack) so that it requires aiming. This ability will now travel forwards from the player and will hit any enemies in the path.
  • Updated the 'Level Up!' text that appears whenever the player levels up so that it rotates in the world space with the player's camera / perspective.

Hot fix March 10

This patch addresses some bugs that were found shortly after the last update.

  1. Skeleton mage can again spawn friendly servants to fight for him in the first dungeon.
  2. Fixed right mana orb from not updating the current mana correctly.
  3. Fixed various UI problems on the Pause Menu for dungeon 1 as well as the character select and character load menus.
  4. Fixed a bug preventing the player from returning to the main castle HUB after completing any dungeons.

March 9 patch notes

Updated the following:

  • Added a fix for a fatal pause menu bug when the player clicked the Cancel button after opening the Video settings.
  • Added new dungeons to the new starting HUB castle.
  • Fixed other small bugs.

March 7 patch notes

This patch updates the following:

  • Removed all environmental levels (except for any dungeons).
  • Changed the first level to serve as the base of the player's progress. All portals to dungeons will be accessed through the first level. As the player completes more dungeons, more rewards and dungeons will unlock. For example, the armory and the item vendors will become available once the player defeats the first 4 to 6 levels, respectively. Currently, the first 6 dungeons are in the first level and the rest will be added by the end of this week (3/07/2023).
  • Fixed various small bugs.


During the remainder of Q1 this year, the patches will continue to implement the talent trees for all classes, and improve new dungeons and bosses for each dungeon. Thanks for your patience while Cryptr is improved! :)
