New account system
a New seamless Steam account system, which connects with your Steam account to the database and automatically logs you in. You can connect your old account to the new system on your first login.
Loot
Loot system has been reworked and now it provides a much better experience.
Achievements
Modified old achievements and added many new ones.
Updated quest list in main menu.
NPC
NPC base guard graphics and animations remade.
Improved NPC animations.
MISC

Interactive World - Update 0.96
As our summer tradition of big updates, we released a new game mode earlier and now we took time to improve the base survival mode in many ways. Have fun with the new improved features and feel free to give new ideas, what to implement into the game! ːsteamhappyː
Houses
We optimized houses, which allowed us to implement a new feature to furniture. All closets and drawers can now be opened/closed in houses. This allows the player to interact much more with the environment. We also added new and more props to houses.
Also, special building now can't spawn behind the borders walls to improve performance of the game.
World
Upgraded ground textures. Improved sewer collisions, so you can't go inside of some walls. Improved collisions of the crashed helicopter at spawn. Improved map border.
Lightning
Optimized overall lightning, which allowed us to improve shadow quality.
Sun shadows are now smoothed in survival mode to provide a better look.
Effects
Added brand new animated muzzle flashes, which differ from one another depending on the weapon type. Added brand new impact effects, which now represent more accurately the material, which was hit and they are much better quality effects.
Player
Improved player animations by adding dozens of new weapon animations. This provides a much better aiming experience with guns. Push attack has been improved.
Misc

<*>Fixed a bug with backpack, which made it invisible on player character.
<*>Breath is now reset on respawn.
<*>Updated Tyrant attack animation.
<*>Better detection of hardware in initial setup, which adjusts the graphical settings now more correctly.

Update 0.95 - Character customization
Update 0.95
We have now released an smaller update, which adds much more customization to your character and now your older saves work again.
You can now customize your character in 2880 different ways to your liking.
In initial start up, you now have some basic options you can adjust before starting intro.
Save games that did not work in 0.94 now work in 0.95.

Story Update 0.94 - New game mode
Intro update
We have now released an intro update, which has a new playable intro story game mode and improvements to the main game. The Intro helps new players to adapt the game's core mechanics and to know about the story of the city and the game. Watch a preview video of the intro from the link down below.

Menu
Added new menu sounds. Improved menu graphics. Music volume can be adjusted seperately. Updated brightness setting menu to represent the actual effect on game. Increased maximum brightness setting.
Misc
a Weapon will automatically be equipped, when picked up, if a weaponslot is available.
Added audio mixer.
Updated NPC animations.
Improved controller support.
Added sound for harvesting.
Updated rain.
Animal xp is now saved.
Flashlight decreases slower and is reset on death.
Added HUD visibility levels. They offer various choices for the visibility of UI elements.
Updated global fog.
Updated achievements. All of them can now be unlocked and progress can be checked in the achievement list.
Fixed harvestable object synchronization.
Zombies are now less likely to miss when trying to destroy crafted objects.
Development Update
Hello everyone. We are finally closing on the full release of the game.
Development
We have been making the launch update, which has a new playable intro story and improvements to the main game. The Intro helps new players to adapt the game's core mechanics and to know about the story of the city and the game. We are currently fine tuning the combat system and the main components of the game.

After Release
Our development will continue after the release and we already have plans for the future. The Updates will be free for all players and if the game gets enough attention we have plans for larger expansions.

January Update 0.93
Yesterday we released a new update to the game, which improves sounds, animations, NPC missions and brings various other improvements.
Sounds
Added additional audiosource for the player character, so we can play more sounds at the same time. Added more jumping and landing sounds for smaller vertical movements. Added new meatier melee hitting sounds for each melee weapon. Added new hit types and sounds. Updated hostile NPC base trap sound effect.
Animation
Added vertical movement to hands when player moves vertically. Added reload animation for M4 weapon. Added missing animations for melee attacks, so the player attacks won't stop in mid-air. Added more impact to melee hit animations. Improved player movement animations.
Particles
Updated all particles for hits. Walls and furniture make more appropriate particle effects when being hit.
NPC
Added mission generator to Jack, which creates an endless amount of quests for him. Added a talking animation for the roaming NPC.
DirectX9
We added an additional DirectX9 build of the game, which fixes API incompatibility problems, what might happen on older machines. If your game crashes when trying to make a server or when joining one, then you should try this version.
Misc
Removed Christmas decorations from the game as the holidays ended.
Improved Ghoul spawner, so the sewer will be less empty.
Added a new system for player to hold an item in hand. Flare can now be held in hand before throwing.
Added more spawn points to city blocks.
Christmas Update 0.92
Today we released a new Christmas update to the game, which improves player character, sounds, adds new NPC:s and more! ːsteamhappyː
In celebration of Christmas we added Christmas props and tyrant now wears a Santa-hat.
Player Animations
Added a pistol vault animation. Improved many player animations.
Added new reload animations for AK47, LMG, M107, P250 and Revolver.
We added brand new aiming animations for each weapon in the game to bring accurate aiming with all the weapons.

NPC
Added a new NPC encounter. Roaming NPC characters can be found on the city streets and they will act upon your behaviour.
Menu
Added option to switch displays in the main menu. This allowed us to remove the old launcher from the game. All the options, which the launcher had can now be adjusted in the main menu.
Misc
Makarov now has a red dot in the sight.
Fixed pixel error at the edge of the screen in scope.
Added more props and house points to cityblocks.

Added a new skyscaper. Added more variety to skyscaper furniture. Military supply depot added. Added more props and objects around the city. Added police cars.
Harvesting
Harvestable object spawner now actively adds more harvestable objects as player moves around the city. This allows players to find them more often. Harvestable objects now can't spawn in the same spawnpoint.
Music
Added new night ambience sounds, which make the night more creepy. Updated day transition sounds.
Misc
Hostile NPC base player capture now functions properly.
Remade controller weapon wheel with better functionality and graphics.
Added notes, which can be inspected closely.
Added a new attack for the large zombie.
Stopped player head from going through walls when leaning next to them.
Broken City - Update 0.90

Added broken and collapsed buildings to the city. Increased the amount of houses spawning to the city. Added skyscapers. Added a brand new cityblock type, which has roundabouts.

Added new transition music for when day turns into night and vice versa.

Lucius Blackwood now has improved & more behaviour when he's hostile. Improved capture functionality. Improved npc detection logic and logic when to shoot.

Fixed window frame placement in one house floor.

September Update 0.88

Harvestable Objects
Harvestable objects have returned to the game. They are now clearly indicated with a red glow for better user experience. They are now made of a degradable structure and break gradually when being harvested.
World Streaming
Hugely improved world streaming on host when not playing alone.
Fixed rare cases of missing buildings.
Controller
Added a brand new weapon wheel system for the game when playing with the controller.
Controller now can adjust sliders in menus.
Improved miscellaneous things about the controller support.
Offline mode
Offline mode has been updated to support the new multiplayer system and now allows the player to play with no internet connection.
Options
The Game now has fully rebindable keys in in-game options menu for both keyboard & controller.
Added ability to set HUD borders.
Player amount slider in save settings menu now also indicates the current amount of the slider.
Misc
Fixed problems in loot synchronization.
Other players now wield the correct weapon when joining the game.
Inventory now shows the correct amount of slots when loading a save where the player has a backpack.
Added a more secure channel for important multiplayer messages when dealing with packet loss.
Fixed problems in cityblock type 2 textures & collisions.
Optimized collision meshes for cityblocks.
Craftable electric trap is now upgraded to support the new multiplayer system.
Added more popup-messages for menu actions.
