I can Imagen a few of you have been panicking
as it has been a few weeks since the last update.
What have we been doing?
<*>Walker AI has been completely rewritten.
Previous walker on Damned Nation only used 250 lines of code and has made them seem very robotic and repetitive were as new Damned Nation walkers now use over 600 lines of code.
Walkers will now
<*> Decide whether or not to be aggressive or calm
<*> Stop and look behind the and also.
<*> walkers now eat meat of the floor
Note every time a walker eats from the floor they will gain 5HP
<*> Walkers will now drag themselves across the floor
During all of these new actions walkers have different sense of awareness
<*>A more user friendly UI and main menu.
See the performance impact with every change you make to the graphics settings
<*>More realistic rendering with gradient ambient lighting / improved physicaly based shading and volumetric clouds
<*>Nvidia PhysX
Using PhysX we have managed to increase the amount of vegetation on screen and added ivy hanging from power cables and under bridges.
We have also added old ripped banners on buildings.
NOTE this feature will have a noticeable performance hit and is designed for the more high end PC users (Can be toggled on and of in the options menu)
