Upcoming features in patch v0.6.0

Hi everyone! I've started working on major update that includes new features:

  • Reliquary and relics. Relics are special items that can be leveled up and reliquary is the place where you store them.
  • Narrative, dialogues and story.
  • New level cap.


It will take me from 2 to 3 weeks to complete, but reliquary will be available soon on "test" branch.

New Patch! v0.5.7

Global

  • Healing effect bonus on items increased
  • Inventory and stash now have limited slot count
  • Strength no longer adds dexterity weapon damage
  • Dexterity no longer adds strength weapon damage


Items

  • Item suffix "of the Zodiac" amount of stats increased
  • Death's Advance: removed slow immunity
  • Death's Embrace set:
    - 2 pieces: +6 intelligence (was 5% incoming damage reduction)
    - 3 pieces: 5% shadow damage (was 5% damage)
    - 4 pieces: removed 5% magic vampirism


Skills

  • Shield Blast damage increased by 25%
  • Shield Blast action point cost reduced by 2 (was 4)
  • Holy Light action point cost increased by 2 (was 0)
  • Adrenaline: cooldown reduced from 12 to 6
  • Sacrifice: renamed to "Blood Magic"

Global

  • Forging: Secondary attributes now scales less.
  • Dexterity: critical hit chance reduced from 0.25% to 0.125%
  • Strength: critical hit damage reduced from 0.33% to 0.25%
  • Defense: damage reduction reduced from 0.5% to 0.3%
  • Resistance: damage reduction reduced from 0.5% to 0.3%
  • Constitution: health increased from 15 to 20
  • Reduced bleeding damage from 3% to 2% of max health
  • Bleeding and poison effects now stacks up to 5 times
  • Item level of all legendaries reduced from 3 to 2
  • Global damage formula changed: melee damage increased, magic and ranged damage reduced
  • Glancing strike damage reduced from 50% to 25%.
  • Elemental damage bonus from items increased.

  • Stormbringer: maximum stack count of "Electrified Blade" increased from 5 to 11
  • Runestone quality increased to Rare was Magic.
  • Dark Sword: Quality increased to Legendary with unique effect.
  • Elemental Quiver: Quality reduced to Unique, was Legendary, removed random elemental damage.
  • Shield Ring: Quality changed to Unique was Legendary, stats balance changed, removed skill.
  • Lens: added random stats.
  • Adamantite Destroyer: added random stats
  • Marten's Book: renamed to Grimoire and added random stats.
  • Grim Reaper: renamed to scythe and added random stats.
  • Lightbringer: damage type changed to holy, AOE radius increased.


Scenarios

  • Reworked nightmare rewards.
  • Added Nightmare VIII.
  • Patrol: Clean-up added Augment Sphere reward.


Skills

  • Ghostly Soul: cooldown reduced from 4 to 2.
  • Piercing shot: cooldown increased from 0 to 3 turns.
  • Chain Lightning: added damage variance.
  • Black Hole: action point cost reduced from 4 to 2.


Monsters

  • Blood Transfusion effect increased from 20% of max health to 50%


Talents

  • Singularity now restores 6AP instead of 8.
  • Overheal: shield amount now limited to your max hp.
  • Insight: 10% chance to increase intelligence by 15% for 2 turns.
  • Combat Rage: 10% chance to increase strength by 5% for 2 turns. Stacks up to 3 times.
  • Lock and Load: Now 20% chance to restore 4 action points.
  • Destruction: now gains spell power instead of magic damage.


Skill Sets

  • Stormcaller skill set bonus now applies "Shock" effect that increases incoming damage instead of stun.


Improvements

  • Stack size for all ingredients increased to 999999
  • Stash now looks like inventory.


Fixes

  • Thorns not applying if damage was absorbed.
  • Cryomancer and Stormcaller skill set bonus procs from dots.
  • Piercing shot not applying bleeding.
  • If damage was absorbed on take damage effect not applying.
  • Dropping blueprints that already known.
  • Last stand not resetting after death.
  • Circle of Elements buff not removing when accessory unequipped.
  • Cloak of Flame missing resistances.
  • Fixed armor/magic penetration mechanics.
  • Dummy units appears on the next map.

First of all, I want to thank you all for the feedback, it really helps me and keeps motivated for future work.

This week I will focus on adding new items and fixing bugs, also I will create in-game bestiary so you can view all the monster stats and skills in one place.
