Lights Out, Shadows In


The Crypt will collect many souls in what could be the hardest dungeon to date! Enter the Dominion and never come out now! Our weekly update is here with a new Dungeon, and a bunch of other exciting changes!

Celadon Crypt


The first coalition settlement to be totally isolated in the wake of corruption, what's remains alive inside the north's most remote prison tower can barely be considered so.

Expected to be one of if not the most difficult challenge you've faced within the Dominion yet. Bring your strongest characters and an iron spirit, the Crypt collects souls!

Additions



  • Added Semreh's Obol to Thadacles. It will drop from every event and have a use in the future. This will hopefully help alleviate events feeling like they don't drop loot like it's your birthday.

Aphrodite's Heel (Event)




Aphrodite is back for another year of Valentine's Week! Unfortunately for her, her ex has come to the Dominion to find her! Take him on in the name of love and revenge!

The event starts today (2/15/25) and ends in 3 weeks on March 8th, 2025! Times are in PST.

Find new items, cosmetics, and more! Collect Love Essence from all intermediate+ bosses, and take it to Astake for unique rewards! Finish the Event Quest Attainments for some easier ways of getting even more rewards!

You'll find Thadacles in the Dominion, who will spawn after bosses spawn. He'll have his own event-specific quest marker to show you where he is!

Note: This is our first "smaller" event and will be what many future events will be. We've made this decision to ensure developer resources aren't taken away from permanent content and disrupt the flow of content development. We'll still be adding small things for each event. New in this event are event quest portraits, custom death messages, custom chat messages, and more! Please let us know what you think about it all.

Loot Announcement


We're super excited to add a way of officially announcing to the world that you got a rare piece of loot! In items that are cosmetic+, you'll be able to announce to everyone in the instance that you got it! No more faking you got a white chest—announce it!

New Package


As with all events, we released a new pack in the package shop! In future events, we'll come out with multiple and cheaper packs, but Jmn cooked too many good skins, and we didn't have time to split them into multiple packs with differing themes and cosmetics.

Event Shop


We've got another Event Shop packed with limited-time skins, hats, and a pet! They're for gold and platinum. Buy them while they're here! They'll be removed at the end of the event.

EU Dominion


The game has been exploding, and we're just as excited as everyone who has been playing! For a limited time, we'll be releasing an EU Dominion server. The Tavern server will still be based in the US, but the portals will connect to different regions. The specific region will be displayed on the portal name label itself.

We are super excited to release our vision of a Market Board into Darza's Dominion! Please be sure to leave any and all feedback in our Discord. You'll find the Market is ran by Marigold. You can find her room northwest of the spawn in the Tavern.

Player-to-player trading will still exist if you choose, or list your items on the Market Board and wait for them to sell!



Market Fast Facts



  • There is a 7.5% tax on all purchases, paid by the buyer and rounded down when applicable
  • You can pay Platinum to nullify the fee. The current rate is 1 platinum per 10,000 silver cost
  • Listings expire after 30 days
  • There is a limit of 24 listings per account
  • You can click the headers (e.g. Quantity) to sort by ascending or descending


Silver


Silver may be confusing to some so we're going to clarify and make it as simple as we can. Silver is Glory that can be used without dying on your character. You will still gain Glory on your character, and it will be converted to Silver on death. You can also gain Silver in various ways without dying. The Silver gained will go directly to your account balance.

Silver will drop directly from specific enemy types in Intermediate to Expert difficulty level encounters, dungeon chests, and more content in the future. Here's a range of Silver drops per type:

  • Dungeon Bosses: 3 - 121 silver
  • Regular Bosses: 2 - 103 silver
  • Mini Bosses: 1 - 85 silver
  • Dungeon Chests: 0 - 13 silver

Silver Fast Facts



  • Silver can be earned in various ways: Killing specific enemy types, dungeon chests, and more in the future
  • Silver is added directly to your account balance
  • Glory can be looked at as alive Silver
  • Silver is basically still Glory but can now be given without having to die


Dropped For


Have you ever wondered who originally owned the item you just bought on the Market Board or from another player? Starting today, you'll always know! From today forward, all items will have their original looter displayed at the bottom of the tooltip. It is denoted by the Spirit sprite followed by their name.



This is a change we're all super excited about. It's simple but will be very cool to be able to flex that you looted all the items yourself.

Loot Shrine Changes


We've made some changes to Loot Shrines that we want to mention upfront. It's no doubt that key sales make up a good portion of our income. When intitally implementing Loot Shrines we made the decision to remove them from key spawned dungeons. We're now reversing that decision and they will once again be available to dungeons opened via key. There are some changes, however!

  • Dungeons opened by key will cost 20 gold per 10% boost
  • Dungeons opened naturally (enemy spawn) will now cost 10 gold (down from 15) per 10% boost

We believe this will make keys more attractive to players who wish to support us via key pops and shrine boosts, while making it cheaper for natural spawned dungeons.

Patch 38: New Loot System, MASSIVELY Buffed Loot, New Dungeon, Balance, and More



With the release of the new Winter Prison dungeon and the introduction of Contribution Loot, this update brings exciting changes, bug fixes, and balancing to Darza's Dominion. Here's the full breakdown:

  • Added the Winter Prison dungeon.

  • Re-enabled parts of last year's Grant-themed Christmas Event. Find him in the Reach! We'll let you know before he escapes (the event ends). Events will be much smaller in scale going into 2025 but we'll hopefully have more of them!
  • Increased HP Gained to MP Cost Ratio across the board for Tiered Capes (T0 = 0.67 → 0.83, T6 = 0.94 → 1.14)
  • Changed Effect Radius across the board for Tiered Capes (T0 = 2.5 → 2.0, T6 = 3.75 → 4)
  • Added a new shield type called Barriers. Barriers act as a shield, last a maximum of 10 seconds (unless broken), can be refreshed & added to infinitely, and may not exceed 50% of your current maximum health. Barrier can currently be found on mortars.
