Today we're releasing a brand new vault remake, as part of our quest to update all the areas players visit every day!
Cosmetic Vaults + Pet Vaults
We're introducing cosmetic vaults to store all your skins, hats, and textiles! Thank you to everyone who supports us—now you'll finally have a place to keep all your goodies. In addition to cosmetic vaults, we're also releasing pet vaults, which will allow you to store your pets. Both vaults are free of charge and each holds 16 items, giving you even more storage space!
Vault Changes
Vaults now persist for 1 minute after leaving in case you accidentally drop something. A future patch will add a warning message.
Vaults now save their purchase location. We don't want to know what you're doing with a single vault in the corner, but have fun!
Increased max vaults to 200. This will be the final increase.
Vault prices have been reduced to 299 gold per vault.
The first vault purchase is now 99 gold, the second is 199 gold, and the third and all future purchases are 299 gold.
Players now start with a total of 4 free vaults. All accounts will receive additional vault unlock tokens.
Gift chests now hold 16 items each.
New Content
Added the "Coil of Ka" beginner dungeon. Face off against Ka for new items and cosmetics! This dungeon features traps and a focus on dodging.
Balance Changes
Changed the Bleeding debuff to Burning on Scorch Recurve.
Increased debuff duration (2.5s → 4s) on Scorch Recurve.
Changed the Bleeding debuff to Burning on Doobius Blazius.
Decreased debuff level (3 → 1) on Doobius Blazius.
Increased debuff duration (0.69s → 4.20s) on Doobius Blazius.
Bug Fixes & Miscellaneous
Changed Alien Crystal Core and Pink Tree AoEs to no longer count against No Hit attainments.

Bug Fixes
Fixed multiple instances of HP scaling working incorrectly.
Fixed Guild Banners being removed via setpiece placement mid-encounter.
Adjustments
Increased fog vulnerability in Ghastly Rift & Ghastly Void from Vulnerable 1 & 2 to Vulnerable 3 & 5, respectively.
Increased safe zone and projectile offsets for certain phases of Hallowed & Bones and Bones.
Removed armor status scaling from Trick-or-treat bags, as it was overcompensating for previous issues.

Removed the Speed Bonus from Signal Banner.

Another patch today to fix some small things!

Fixed the dye mask of the Jack'o-ator skin.
Fixed AoE warnings not displaying properly in the Hazy Grove.
Adjustments
Changed announcement colors to be more readable.
Changed the bag type of Ectoplasm because it’s not an event item.
Limited the "Mmm Crunchy" Attainment to 2 max rewards (it was never meant to be unlimited—sorry, squishers).
Added 1 second of invulnerability every 20% damage dealt on Trick-or-treat bags.
Increased HP scaling from 33% to 66% on Trick-or-treat bags.

Adjustments
Changed invulnerability and cutscene status effects to ignore lava damage.
Doubled the impact of the Vulnerable debuff.
Reduced the amount of Bulls in The Wild West required to summon Vesta, Axis Gatesguard from 125 to 50.
Reduced Hallowed & Bones' base HP by roughly 50% to account for the first half of Pumpza's fight.
Reduced the movement speed of both Hallowed & Bones and Bones, leaving their charge phases unchanged.
Reduced the HP on Hallowed's Evil Pumpkin bombs by roughly 60% and changed HP scaling to nearby players only.
Reduced the HP on Hallowed's leaderboard minions by roughly 90%.
Increased the projectile speed on Hallowed's leaderboard minions to match their actual player equipment counterparts.

The Hallowed Hunt (Event)
We're back with our first event in several months! This event is our most ambitious (and hopefully most fun) one yet! Get ready to trick-or-treat in the Tavern, hunt ghosts in the Dominion, and face off against Hallowed and Bones for new Event Tier items and collectibles. This event also features a full Essence reward shop, with essences dropping from every boss in the game! We're excited to launch this event with event-specific essence slots, and a lot of new content!
Welcome to The Hallowed Hunt! Will you survive? We're thrilled to release our first Halloween event in nearly 7 years! This is certainly our most ambitious event to date, packed with Halloween-themed activities, interesting items, unique affixes, and more!
Hallowed and Bones
Hallowed and Bones are making their debut in the Dominion! We won't spoil too much, but we're thrilled to see how everyone fares against them. Can you find out where they're hiding?
Pumpkin Lord
A familiar yet fiercer ruler of the Dominion has returned to The Void, angrier than ever and ready to wreak havoc.
Trick-or-Treating
Join us in the Tavern every real-life hour for a festive trick-or-treating activity! Collect candy, consumables, essence, and more! Keep an eye out for in-game announcements every hour indicating the start, and follow the shop vendors as they call out the next location!
Dominion Ghost Hunt
Spooky times await! The Dominion is overrun with ghosts, and a global counter will track progress toward spawning the miniboss Ghasty. Team up with fellow adventurers to take down 66 Ghostys and earn a chance to fight Ghasty! After the event, Ghosty and Ghasty will linger in the new player biomes as Oyun and Astake work on banishing them.
Event Tiered Items
We've introduced a new tier: the Event tier. These items will have drop rates between Unique and Special items. We want everyone to have a chance to obtain Event tier items while keeping them rare enough to encourage trading. We're excited to launch 4 of them during The Hallowed Hunt! To make their drops feel extra special, we're also introducing new chests for each event. Old event items will get updated tiers and bag types in the future.
Quest Attainments + Essence Shop
We've heard your event feedback loud and clear! This event will feature easier quests to help you earn every reward at least once. For those who want to grind, Hallowed Essence will drop from every boss throughout the event!
We're also introducing a new Attainment type: The Hallowed Hunt attainment requires you to complete all other event-specific attainments to earn the final rewards—an exclusive “I Survived The Hallowed Hunt” title and three of Typ's Brain roll tokens!
Event Essence Slot
In response to player feedback, we've added an event-specific essence slot! After discovering an event essence, it will automatically be equipped in an event slot. We hope this addresses player's concerns of having to drop stacks of work-in-progress essences!
Halloween-Specific Affixes
The special event tier items will drop with halloween-specific affixes! These will be rollable only during the event and will be removed from the pool afterward. However, items with these affixes will retain them permanently. Look out for their return next Halloween!
Event Gold Shop
As with all events, we're offering limited-time gold shop items for our free-to-play players! Grab a spooky Gladiator skin, a pet version of the Pumpkin Lord, and a batty hat. They're available until The Hallowed Hunt ends, so don't miss out!
