Release Version 1.4 Bugfixes



Greetings Survivors, several bugfixes were made in the last couple of weeks. Thanks to the community for the bug reports that help the game becoming close to bugfree.

Here is a summary:

- fixed end of the game not triggering when you didn't reached the desert with the sheriff
- fixed "days remaining" and "reward" texts sometimes overlapping in prefight
- fixed scavenger camp events with experienced guards
- fixed NPC dialogues spoken by wrong person
- fixed engineer tooltipp for bear trap (120 % damage instead 100%)
- fixed Dating Quest
- fixed Inventory Item Overlapping Bug
- fixed Wolf Skill
- fixed Sorting Layout
- tryfix for a rare ammo crash
- fixed Liz Weapon Event in Combat
- fixed crafting with members currently in the party didn't actually assign the job
- fixed some button highlighting
- fixed Bill Quest 1 / 2
- fixed Larissa Quest 2 resulting dialogues when she died during quest
- fixed Larissa / Sharon normal map
- when you sell an item from inventory the scroll view now stays in place
- fixed an issue with fast enemies and KO animation transition

Release Version 1.3 Casual Mode / Bugfixes



New feature:

-Casual mode: In casual mode, the health and power of opponents is significantly smaller. Ideal for casual survival sessions. You should still keep an eye on your resources and companions, as these are still as important and difficult as in normal survival mode. Use upgrades if you die to give you a cumulative advantage in following playthroughs.

new feature 28.11.
-Improved sorting of ammunition by weapon type and ammunition quality in inventory

New Balancing 28.11.
-Increased level of enemies in desert night location by one
-Changed priority order for who will be killed if camp is defended too bad - non-party survivors ae choosen first now

Bugfixes:

-fixed isses with full medical inventory
-the character class soldier had some wrong attributes set in the survival and shotgun talents
-fixed an issue with jamal quest 2
-fixed an issue with dexter quest in desert level
-fixed XML-Error popping up on linux when game language is german
-fixed merchant taking the materials even when purchase failed due to full medical inventory
-fixed some polish localization and added polish localization for the steam achievements

New Bugfixes 28.11.
-fixed Larissa Quest 2 resulting dialogues when she died during quest

Release Version 1.2 Improvements



New Features:

- several enemies have now immunity against KO and stun effects - to force different tactics
- Immunity Buff is now shown in combat and it will show an indication text if it prevented you stun attempt
- "uneffective" text is showing when you use the wrong tactic against high defence or high resistance enemies. We improved that to make it easier to understand that the skills are not weak, but only wrong against the current enemy. We hope that will push our engineer Skills as the best alternative against high defence and low resistance xD


Balancing:

- now you can find more tools in the forest at night
- Adjusted some damage and buff effectiveness values
- raised Exploit Vulnurability to 70%
- raised Medic Skill Sniper to 60%
- raised Medic Skill Adrenaline to 60%
- reduced Pistol Skill Legshot Bonus Damage
- raised Engineer Skill Smoke Bomb Damage
- raised Engineer Skills Trap Damage
- raised Shotgun Skills Shrapnell Spray and Fire Through to 70%
- Headshot damage reduced to 50 %

Bugfixes:

- fixed the murderer event
- loading process try-fix for some customers who were send to the wrong location (the loading screen when entering a location has been removed for the time being) If someone has still problems pls send us a comment or an email to contact@silentdreams.de
- fixed Pistol Skill Wary Eye's counter shots taking ammo
- improved Merchant quest not identifying the required item if you already owned it when the quest starts
- fixed Crafting achievement not shown in steam

Version 1.1 increased combat speed

New Features

- we increased the speed of combat animations a bit. We wanted a compromise of a bit faster animation
and realistic behavior and we think you will like it more now.

Bugs

- fixed burning / poison damage against unconscious targets being ignored
- fixed threads of punks and undead not reduced before next day after quest success - you still had to protect your camp with guards
- text correction in the german tutorial
- attack button isn't highlighted anymore after the tutorial is finished
- fixed crafting of some medical items created wrong item
- we fixed a bug with random survivor events. sometimes the game bugged out and dialogues did not show up anymore
- we have a tryfix for a bug where you have always to fight the same enemies again and again until area 10. ( nope, that is not a feature ;))
- if a crash happens, the notification window will now pop up much faster. Pls Copy paste the crash message and email us and tell what you did just before the game crashed. contact@silentdreams.de With more information we can fix the bugs more easily.

Final Release!



Hello survivors,

we are excited to let you know, that Dead Age just left the Early Access phase. For the final release the following features and bugfixes have been done:

New features

  • Trading Cards are now available
  • Polish localization has been added. A big "thanks" goes to www.grajpopolsku.pl (we are also working on Spanish, French and Chinese translations, which will follow as soon as they are ready)


Bugfixes

  • Crashes in fights and in GUI
  • Tutorial bugs when playing with the controller
  • Mouse scrolling in inventory
  • Controller scrolling in inventory
  • all Polish characters will be read and saved

Content update 4 released



Greetings survivors,

a new content update has been released with the following content and bugfixes:

New content:

  • full controller support for everyone who prefers to play relaxed on the couch. Due to the menu structure of the game we still recommend to play the game with mouse controls though.
  • Mac and Linux support added.
  • New event on day 35 (only for specific survivors)


Balancing:

  • The hunter job got an additional slot, so you are able to let three people hunt for food now.
  • Survivors in the random events now have more HP and also do more damage to enemies.
  • Pistol skill Headshot adjusted to 75% damage


Bugfixes:

  • Button highlighting has been improved
  • Tutorial bug after using upgrades has been fixed
  • Rager now has correct animations when stunned or knocked out
  • Mary quest 2: Mary can no longer die during night if you found the medicine
  • Bill quest 2 will be lost correctly now if Bill dies
  • Undead Assassin and Undead Combatant now have tool tips
  • Shocked now has a tool tip
  • Time limit: '0 days' has been changed to 'today'. This means '1 day' is actually two days including today ;)
  • Crafting trousers now has a tool tip
  • Daily recap is more cleary represented
  • Using stacked health items is now more comfortable (item remains selected after usage)

Content update 3 released


Greetings, survivors!

The big content update for Dead Age is now live. Beside several balancing improvements and bug fixes the update also includes a big batch of new features:

- The complete story with all quests and six different endings: you can finally enjoy the whole story until the very end. The decisions you take during your journey and the success or failure of the quests will have consequences on the ending.

- New locations and events: we added a bunch of new events (e. g. trader, annual fair, subway, graveyard, sniper, laboratory etc.) to the game that may appear in the in the recent locations “city” and “desert”

- All enemies and bosses are now included

- Additional challenges to unlock more medals

- Jobs will be unlocked and all upgrades can be used in your next playthrough

- You can now unlock Steam achievements

Greetings survivors,

while the big update still takes some time we have some bug fixes and balancing for you.

- Boss loot in highway and forest has been optimized - more tools and food
- More tools as reward for crafting quests
- Jennifer now starts with level 3 instead of 4
- Prices at merchant have been adjusted after user feedback
- Crafting costs for ammunition, weapons and medical items have been reduced after user feedback!!!
- Some new hints are now given by Larissa quest
- From now on the same enemy party won't occur twice in row
- Enemy skill: Extend Life now respectively changes the current HP and not only the max HP (Nun and Prisoner)

- Added Facebook button. You may want to follow us, there will be information every now and then about updates

We are currently developing the second half of the game, which will become available and fully playable in update 3, scheduled for September. We are actively coming up with new surprises and dangers for you to face. After all, you can't call yourself a survivor if there was nothing to survive. ;)

To tide you over while you wait, we released a smaller content update with several new events:

New Content:

- A new encounter event presenting a young couple fighting for their lives on the highway. Random survivor encounters do have one thing in common: They tend to die quickly. Can you keep them both alive?

- A new encounter event involving a police vehicle teetering precariously at the edge of a bridge. If someone in your group is strong enough to save it, there may be valuable loot inside.

- A new encounter event in which you find a locked house alone in the woods. It has not yet been scavenged and may yield desperately needed materials. But, careful. Scavengers have discovered the house, as well.
