++ Update 0.64 Balancing


Balancing

- better loot in wave combat, more tools for example, better gear / snacks / medkits / Weapons / Ammunition
- you get better loot at night in wave combat
- reduce experience mostly for low level undead enemies, levelup was too fast. So in the other hand you get more experience against enemies
in area 11-20 and humans. A tactic could be to levelup faster in the later areas.
- you can now find 3-5 ammunition at day sometimes and 5-7 ammunition parts at night. To give you more reasons to skill more range attacks
- some new zombie parties in the woods
-adjusted crafting costs of upgrade kits

Bugfixing
- fixed Mary Quest crash
- fixed being able to collect more medical items than allowed
- added notification when try to collect medical items while no space in inventory
- fixed time limit not displayed for mary quest 2
- fixed some job skill tooltipps
- fixed graphical glitches with resource numbers in crafting list while scrolling

++ Important Balancing and Bugfixes

Balancing:

-The player now starts with a full magazine for the pistol in order to make it more useful in the beginning of the game, especially for the quests at night.
-There will now always be a warning in the daily briefings if scavangers are possible as enemies. (because they're more dangerous than zombies)
-The system regarding defense and resistance has been optimized to enable more strategic varation during combat. Enemies now have none (0%), light (30%) or heavy (50%) defense/resistance.
Pay attention to the tooltips for enemies. The breakthrough skill will be most effective against high defense enemies and basicly wasted against no-defense enemies. Ranged weapons may be useful against light-defense enemies as well as engineer skills.
-Cheerleaders, Undead Prisoners, Sears Suckers, wolfes and several punks got their HP increased. You have to go for new strategies to be effective. Breakthrough has become less useful against them.
-Zombie Police Officer and Undead Soldier got increased blocking chance and critical strike chance.
-Human enemies got increased health depending on their class.
-Eliminator and Smoke Bomb skill now take 2 AP again, they were too poweful otherwise. They should be used more strategically now.
-The pistol skill Leg Shot now reduces initiative even more to have stronger impact on block chances. Useful against fast enemies.
-The high tier skill Stunning Volley now has an increased buff chance of 75%
-The high tier skill Agonizing Execution got its damage lowered to 225%
-Resistance has been reduced in many cases to make engineer skills (which takes ammunition) more powerful in comparison to melee attacks. This does not apply against high-resistance enemies. They take a different strategy to overcome. Nail Traps can reduce resistance too by the way.
-Wolfes and Ragers have become even faster and will block even more attacks. Again, there are effective ways to defeat them.
-Chilling Howl now reduces strength and not perception.
-The random civilian survivors you may encounter now have slighlty more health. It will still be very tough for them in combat.

Bugfixes:

-Pressure Points skill now deals correct damage against stunned enemies
-fixed Mary crashes
-fixed a few other crashes
-fixed larissa 2 Quest crash
-corrected crafting tooltipps
-fixed enemy party disapearing when game over screen shows up
-fixed animation change priorities for allied characters (death while stunned)
-security sentence in lydia 1 quest during the map
-Underhanded Searsucker can't use his skill during stunned and ko.

++ Weekend Bugfixes thanks to the Community

Hey Survivors,
our Community showed us a few bugs and we fixed it asap.

- fixed block chance calculation based on initiative before buffs were applied (thank you @ walkallthetime)
- fixed Jamal double, (thank you @sandmanzero2013)
- fixed tooltip showing wrong healing effect percentage in medkit crafting recipe (thank you @sharzul)
- fixed AP not being increased when next wave starts (thank you @Qwert2401)
- fixed Jennifer quest with a bad ending (semidivine thx @ HolyAvatar ;))
- fixed small issues with the character selection of trainer camp event
- fixed some loot drops at highway day (weapon and gear crafting)

++ Bugfixes and important Balancing

another update with a few bugfixes and important balancing

Bugfixes

- fixed crash when a character-attached particle or sound effect was played outside of combat
- fixed survivivor models may not get deleted after survivor event
- fixed charakter choices for lake event have wrong order
- fixed some incorrect skill tooltipps

Balancing

- a lot of the skills level 5- 10 have less AP now. You can use them earlier in combat. (because of community feedback ;))
- some skills changed a bit in the power because of less AP
- engineer traps are stronger now (trap damage vs resistance, engineer skills ignore armor, so if you use engineer
skills against ragers with huge resistance it's not a good idea, so check the enemy tooltipps ;))
- smoke bomb explodes 1 round earlier. check it out, it's a mighty skill. Hint: you can combine smoke bomb with other skills after stun effect.
In other words: you should try the improved engineer skills. ;)

Content Update 1 released



The first content update for Dead Age is now live. This new content will await you:

- "Hardcore Mode" for veterans of the game. The hardcore mode can be selected optionally when starting a new game. Enemies will become stronger; you should use your upgrades wisely, as you will fail more often. Better start digging the graves for your companions, or even your own one…

- The new survivor Jamal brings a depressing future to the camp. Will you be able to help him survive the horror?

- Bill has a new quest for you. Of course it´s all about his favorite topic: food

- The merchant gets a new quest. But it will only be of use for you if he still likes you.

- What happens if Jennifer would be in the camp from the very beginning? Find out more about her in the new storyline.


We also fixed several bugs and improved the balancing based on the community feedback:

Bugfixes:
- fixed a bug where investing medals set a savegame to "not dead" which made it crash next time you load it
- fixed possible crash caused by screen fading script
- fixed camp defend bugs
- fixed liz quest 1 could succeed unintentionally
- fixed K.O. problems in waves
- fixed timelimit display for quest "Call for help"
- fixed timelimit display during exploring

Balancing
- lowered amount of resources needed for radio tower quest
- slightly increased food yield from hunting job
- because of the new content you get more tools for crafting or hunting

+++ Update Alpha 0.54 Fixes & Balancing +++

Greetings Survivors,
we have some new fixes and improved balancing for you.

Bugfixes

- fixed crash when killing enemy with counter buff
- fixed possible crash during fight
- fixed health bar in overview cut off on mouse over
- fixed flickering member list when page updates
- buffs and traps now stay active between wave combats
- changed the way quest time limit is displayed (on final day it now says: 0 days left)
- fixed crash when camp is invaded by punks
- changed backup save generation to every day (2 alternating files)
- fixed localization issues on travel screen
- adjustment to the introduction of punk scavenging (you see Punk Threat 10%)
- improvements for camp trainer (you can choose all characters)

Balancing

- Melee attacks are now weaker to make weapons more important (you only get 1 more strenght point vor every melee talent)
- Melee Skills (level 7 and 10) adjustment slightly weaker.
- improved the radio tower quest
- adjustment to Radio Tower and Liz quests timelimit (already started quests are not affected or fixed)
- slightly increased reward for trader quest
- Punk and Scavenger now only steal 25% of your ressources (before it was 50%) if you have 1 guard it reduces to 10%. So now you can do some more risky moves. ;)
- undead prisoners have more hp
- change EXP with level 7, you need more EXP to level up.
- dungeons forest / highway slightly harder. enemies gain one level except highway area 1-10. boss enemies have more hp.

A new update is avaible for some killed bugs.

- fixed crash during tutorial
- fixed crash when camp is attacked (important!)
- fixed possible crash when combat ends
- fixed equipment page looks cramped in 16:10
- fixed being able to increase skills further than level 10
- fixed skill tooltip not updating when increasing skill
- fixed missing sound when healed by liz 2 quest
- fixed crafting recipes look glitched in 16:10
- fixed equipped item becomes hidden when clicking slot filter again
- fixed amount of refunded resources when canceling job was to high
- fixed some spelling errors
