New Content:



  • Replaced overworld map with a new map and biome to better suit the game graphics and performance.
  • Added new boss: "Anubis" found around the pyramid.
  • Added Ancient items that can be crafted at the altar on top of the pyramid with orbs and blood.
    -Ancient Cartilage (Body)
    -Ancient Tablet (Addon)
    -Ancient Skull (Top)
    -Ancient Pack (Pack)
    -Ancient Pyramid (Rune)
  • Added Ancient item set - Ancient items give a set bonus.
  • Anubis boss has a 2% chance to drop 8 orbs which can be used to craft ancient set gear.
  • Added new elite monster "Robot Laborer" found around the pyramid.
  • Added Human Blood crafting/mutation item found only by killing humans.
  • Added Alien Blood crafting/mutation item found only by killing aliens.

General Changes:



  • Lowered block chance and block damage cap from 95% to 70%, if you go over it, it does nothing more than the 70%.
  • Buffed Blood Set items and set bonus significantly on HP.
  • Buffed Predator Set max bonus.
  • Increased creature character slots from 10 to 20 saves allowed per account.
  • Fixed monsters not spawning.
  • Fixed Wulv collider positioning so its no longer hovering over the ground.
  • Fixed Wulv Apex Hunter item to give up to 25 pounce instead of 100.
  • Optimized world to give the game better framerate.
  • Added Fog Of War so that you can't see somebody on the other end of the world, you must be in normal view distance. Also this change reduces latency and helps contribute to better framerates so not so many things are loaded at once.
  • Doubled the world size around edges, made it resemble more of an island for immersion and less clutter, changed the forest trees to island/jungle trees and plants.
  • Lowered drop chance rate on gems from 25% to 10%.
  • All regular monsters now drop space junk.
  • Fixed Lurker Mind item to scale block rate chance and increased damage.
  • Fixed Roo Rat camera position.
  • Fixed Clampers Hide In Shell ability.
  • Swapped Haalk's vitality bonus on passive added resistance and changed Unholy Claw weapon into fortitude.
  • Increased Haalk's size slightly.
  • Adjusted block elements on Clamper.

  1. Increased base inventory storage space from 30 to 50.

  24. Bosses now drop up to 5 items instead of up to 10 except Golden Spor stays 10.
  25. Increase Kingler World Boss drop rates so that he doesn't drop nothing at times.
  26. Lowered Kingler World Boss Armor.
  27. Increased difficulty of both Crystal King World Bosses and JoJo.
  28. Added idle sound to JoJo so he can be heard from far away so you will know he is spawned and where.
  29. Increased the monster and player view range to be in range of the looking distance - this effects server and latency performance, the more monsters and players you can see in the distance = the more lag overall for everyone so I don't want to set it too high. The new setting is good because you can see anyone in a normal view distance without lag. This new view seems to be the max I can go before it starts to lag.
  30. Removed Vignette from post processing (black edging around the screen) so that the game graphics are more clear. There wont be a pixelated circle around your creature anymore making the game graphics better.
  31. Increased Haalk HP per level from 6 to 250 and its HP regen from 0.001 to 100 per level, buffed its skills slightly.
  32. Doubled the amount of exp Aliens give.
  33. Increased leveling exp tree difficulty slightly by 1/4th.
  34. Switched Toxic slash and Toxic Bite Stinger to give Toxic Damage.

Skill rolls for Exo gear are much lower rate than weapons.

3rd skill-> 40% chance to apply randomly 1-100 points
4th skill-> 30% chance to apply randomly 1-100 points
5th skill -> 20% chance to apply randomly 1-100 points
6th skill -> 10% chance to apply randomly 1-100 points

Exo gear skill rolls:
1st skill -> 6% chance to apply randomly 1-25 points
2nd skill -> 5% chance to apply randomly 1-25 points
3rd skill-> 4% chance to apply randomly 1-25 points
4th skill-> 3% chance to apply randomly 1-25 points
5th skill -> 2% chance to apply randomly 1-25 points
6th skill -> 1% chance to apply randomly 1-25 points

Bug Fixes:



  1. Fixed Human spawn from glitching out.
  2. Fixed a mysql syntax error that caused server crashing.
  3. Fixed fire monsters only dropping volcanic rock.

Skill Changes:



  1. Changed Roo Rat final skill to "Rat Boon" Buff yourself and nearby allies with a buff for Movement speed, HP Leech, Stamina and HP recovery. (Stackable)
  2. Changed Fleeir Toxic Sting Skill from doing weapon damage to doing more toxic damage flat instead.
  3. Removed cooldown increase from Fleeir Fly Fast skill.
  4. Buffed Spirit Wulv Skill.
  5. Changed Fungus Call Forest Sprite skill to no longer buff it now shoots a ranged projectile at your target.
  6. Balanced Colony skills to be in line with current numbers.
  7. Balanced values on Skitter Heal Herd skill.
  8. Balanced values on Blessing skill.
  9. Added a stun to Scorpoid Deadly Sting Skill
  10. Lowered Snek Toxic Blood Passive Crit Damage from 0.02 to 0.015 per level.
  11. Increased damage on Koh Offspring and made it so that more spawns at once at higher skill levels.
  12. Increased Serpenn Dash skill duration base and per level and made it so that for every 100 levels it lowers in cooldown by 10 seconds.
  13. Buffed all summons HP and damage overall.

Gameplay Changes and balance:



  1. Increased level cap to 125, with further increases planned for big map content updates after the game's release, including more maps like caves and underground areas.
  2. Lowered Stamina costs for all skills significantly.
  3. Lowered size on Koh slightly.
  4. Removed Serpenn Devise second passive and replaced it with an active stun skill "Fearful Stun" to stun the target with fear.
  5. Raised size on Snek and Serpenn and Clamper Slightly.
  6. Koh Offspring now give HP recovery and HP leech per level, buffing the user.
  7. Koh now consumes HP with skills instead of stamina.
  8. Buffed Clamper Shell Reflect to give duration and HP regen per level.
  9. Reduced the chances of bonus attributes dropping from 5% to 1%, making them rare and more valuable for trades.
  10. Raised Shrine Cost.
  11. Went over all skills changing values for balance.
  12. Went over all items changing values for balance.
  13. Reduced map Harvests spawn amount slightly, from 70 to 60.
  14. Balanced creature base stats, passive skills, buff skills, and most skills according to current values.
  15. Changed Noetic Paralyze skill duration from 0.1 to 0.01 per level.
  16. Removed cast time from Skitter skills.
  17. Increased leveling difficulty slightly.
  18. Overlays are no longer part of set items to give stats only cosmetic.


Audio and Visual Enhancements:



  1. Added new sound FX to water areas and birds.
  2. Temporarily removed music until a looping soundtrack is implemented.
  3. Added post-processing effects to the game for improved visuals.
  4. Removed about 1/2 of the trees on the map and made the remaining trees 3x bigger to increase island forest immersion.
  5. Touched up the map to have more immersion.

Item and Drop Rate Changes:



  1. Humans now have a high chance to drop space junk and bones - regular drops less, elite more, and boss much more.
  2. Crabs now have a high chance to drop small shells - regular drops less, elite more, and boss much more.
  3. Fire Monsters now have a high chance to drop volcanic rock - regular drops less, elite more, and boss much more.
  4. Balanced some items, including Dragons Fury Nightmare, reducing its mutation power.
  5. Lowered all damage per mutation level for all weapons to be more balanced.
  6. Lowered Tentacle and Soul Sickle damage to Harvests by 1/10.
  7. Lowered values on Titan Pack to be more balanced.
  8. Moved Soul Sickle from elite drops to only JoJo drop with a 5% chance.
  9. Raised Gore drop chances from bosses from 1% to 20%.
  10. Moved Alkazair's Crystalized Flame to a hat cosmetic (for now until an aura cosmetic slot is added).
  11. Removed Gore drop from JoJo and Crystal Bosses.
  12. Buffed Kings Decree with more damage.


Bug Fixes and Improvements:



  1. Fixed some camera issues.
  2. Fixed a bug with crashing
  3. Fixed post-processing in the menu screen.
  4. Fixed a bug preventing login when the server is online.
  5. Fixed the issue of Monsters and Harvests spawning in high places by lowering the Y-axis spawn from 100 to 23.
  6. Fixed Dripple Gumbo to give food and water along with EXP.
  7. Fixed an issue with Nydis Wurm mount skill.


New Content:



  1. Added a new spawn area near the waterfall with a higher chance of dropping small shells from crab monsters.
  2. New boss "Kingler" - the only boss that drops Kinglers Crown along with some new items. Kingler has phases, acting differently with skills during certain phases.
  3. Added 2 new items Kingler drops: Kingler's Favorite Shell (extra slot) and Kingler's Mighty Clamp (weapon slot great for harvesting, the better item to Soul Sickle).
  4. Added Carcass Harvestable epic 10% chance spawns on the map, providing Gore, Bones, and Meat when harvested.
  5. Kings Decree now has a 25% chance to drop "Snow Storm" skill level 1-100 AOE mute/damage/dot.


Quality of Life and New Features:



  1. Added Switch Equip Weapon set key to the ` back quote tilde key above tab.
  2. Added +skill levels as a random stat roll to creature-specific weapons, allowing players to potentially exceed 100 skill levels and even reach up to 300 with luck. Skill drops range from 1-100 and increase in rarity for higher level skills.
  3. Changed Ghost overlay to look more ghostly, encouraging players to use it without any skins underneath.

    <*> Game Wipe - All accounts and creatures deleted to prepare for game release. Early access players get a head start and claim their Heirloom EXP items. You must make a new account
    <*> Game Balance - All items, skills, stats and attributes have been scaled down and revamped, Max level is now 100. The game is also less grindy. The balancing is not perfect and its going to take some more work and feedback to get it right.

Dead Event 1 Year Anniversary!!


Developer Notes:

Hello Creatures! This update is a nice milestone for the game! During early access we did extensive testing. It's been 1 year now and I appreciate all the players that supported the game and helped keep the servers running with Patreon. The game has come so far with your help, I'm very proud of it!

This update is special not only because its the 1 Year Anniversary and new creature.... It's special because we finally found out that the current numbers for the game don't work; the values in the millions are too hard to balance and it's breaking the game engine causing bugs. So with that being said after this update I'm going to start to rework all the numbers in the game to be small values so better to balance and bug free.

The game is about over halfway done as I prepare for a release, I will be adding more contested maps, more dungeons, more questlines, more creatures, colony wars and spreading out the leveling so its not all primarily on one map. Best of all polishing the game before release with some much needed quality of life improvements.

The next update I'll be releasing a single player beta version for Patreon supporters to test the new numbers and updates before they release along with being able to play unreleased creatures! By the way there is no event for the anniversary because I'm putting that energy into making the game better and add more content for release. Ill be adding a cosmetic points shop to help pay for server costs too. I might release the game before the next anniversary so stay tuned!

To celebrate the 1 Year Anniversary ~ introducing our newest creature:


Roo Rat!


Additional Food, Water and Stamina per level.
Skill effectiveness attributes: Survival and Evasion.
+Survival per level.
+Gold Rate.

Trophy Weapon: Toxic Teeth

Skills:
Scavenging Bite - Bite the target wounding it and gain some food and water.
Quick Hide - Hide and get a speed/evasion boost but cant attack or use items/skills for a period of time.
Pestilence (Passive) - Increases damage and evasion. Poison enemies that you attack or that attack you.
Plague Bite - Bite the target muting it and dealing toxic damage overtime.
Screech - Buff yourself and nearby allies with life leech and evasion that stacks with other allied Screech skills.
Unchained - Leap at the target stunning and poisoning it.

General Changes:



  1. Nerfed Wulv Howl Skill by 1/2 damage and removed life leech. (Don't worry I'm reworking all numbers so this will get reworked again along with all skills. This is a temporary adjustment to current numbers)
  2. Fixed some random issues with Dead Zone map.
  3. Moved Dead Zone teleport from Overworld closer so you don't have to walk into the cave for so long.
  4. Fixed Prowler Movement to be how it was before.
  5. Fixed an issue with Fierce Bite not giving health recovery.
  6. Dead Zone TLC.
  7. Overworld Map TLC.
  8. Ended Halloween Event.



Update # 53



General Changes:



  1. Fixed Scorpoid wrong attack speed and weight values.
  2. Raised all base weapons damage significantly.
  3. Raised Armor on all body gear significantly.
  4. Adjusted some water around the map so you cant hit it from far away.
  5. Reworked Toxic DNA item.
  6. Buffed all summon skills to scale to level 30k damage numbers instead of scaling to level 100 damage numbers also added more damage but lowered the summon amount in total by 1/2.
  7. Nerfed Wulv Howl skill by 1/2 was just too strong.
  8. Added Critical damage rate% and attack speed rate% to Wulv.
  9. Added Vit rate% and HP recovery rate% to Haalk passive skill.
  10. Added more Clamper Vit rate% passive skill by 1%.
  11. Added HP recovery and HP recovery rate% to Skitter passive skill.
  12. Added more damage, evasion and evasion rate% to Fleeir passive skill.

  23. Boosted Trade Run Gold rewards significantly since it was originally meant as a way to earn gold not items and since items got removed last update, the rates are now canned goods price 100k sold for 200k, fossil price 200k sold for 600k.
  24. Fixed an issue with day and night time being too fast and it made the sky move fast looked silly... Day and night are both 30 mins each 60 mins is 1 day, this change made the sky more realistic looking.
  25. Gave Overworld and Dead Zone a huge amount of TLC, revamped Dead Zone.



Update #52


General Changes:



  1. Reworked Pumpkin loot drop to now have a chance to drop a Soul Sickle. (Thank you @Lizz Jakkya for finding this issue)
  2. Adjusted the post processing to include volume lighting, removed very fine white fog dithering over the screen and added depth textures to make the game look better.
  3. Changed when armor is applied to this order: damage>resist>armor
  4. Fixed an issue with Anti-Aliasing not working properly.
  5. Added physics movement too all ground creatures, this makes jumping and moving fast over hills better. Before this change creatures would be slow in the air when jumping lets say if you use a move speed buff well every time you hit air you would slow down. It was clunky before now it uses the characters mass, velocity and gravity to be smooth. (Air and gliding creatures will get a different system later with x,y,z axis)
  6. Increased fall velocity from 4 to 5 for Vespid.
  7. Changed navigation box on JoJo not to stutter and glitch out.
  8. Lowered base Vitality gain per level on Clamper from 10 to 3.
  9. Increased all Armor type per level on Clamper from 0.5 to 2.
  10. Lowered base Vitality gain per level on Tremor from 5 to 2 and added 0.5 Dexterity per level.
  11. Raised base Pain Armor gain per level on Haalk from 1 to 1.5 and Vitality per level from 1 to 2.
  12. Added 0.25 Pain Armor gain per level on Skitter.
  13. Added 1 Toxic Armor gain per level on Fleeir.
  14. Added 1 Pain Armor gain per level on Koh.
  15. Added 1 of each armor gain per level on Scorpoid.
  16. Added 1 Accuracy gain per level on Wulv.
  17. Added 0.0002 Crit Damage, 0.5 Evasion per level on Snek.
  18. Added 0.25 Evasion per level on Vespid.
  19. Removed Queen Arachnoid from spawning in the game, it was bugged so I'm going to bring it back as a boss in the new dungeon.
  20. Lowered JoJo Spawn rate from 5% to 3%.
  21. Fixed Herbie's Human Quest to work correctly for Human Troopers.
  22. Added Small Shells to Dead Zone Trade Run.
  23. Adjusted Clipping planes.
  24. Fixed Crafting menu issues.
  25. Lowered Vitality from 250 to 200 and Fortitude HP from 100 to 50.
  26. Possibly fixed things spawning on top of trees and inside stuff. (let me know if it still happens and where)
  27. Lowered attribute weapon effectiveness bonus from 25% to 10%. (this will lower damage overall on auto attacks)
  28. Gave Dead Zone TLC.
  29. Changed most of the lakes HP from 1000000 to 1000 so it runs out has a 300 second respawn timer so if things spawn in lakes you can remove the water faster.
  30. Repositioned Pumpkin Hat and light on all creatures.
  31. Changed base color of Snek.
  32. Added Ghost Overlay to Soul Set.
  33. Added a weight system to trade run items, each trade item has a weight value, by default all current creatures have a max of 10 weight limit, there's a chance to increase the weight limit from a random bonus stat weight stat on Pack items and future creatures maybe some other items. The chance to get this stat on a pack is a 10% chance of having up to +20 max weight. If you have too much weight you will be super slow.
  34. Added Slot increase stat to random bonus stat weight stat on Pack items with a 5% chance of having up to +20 slots.
  35. Changed stack size of trade run items from 5000 to 1 it was originally 1 but accidently got changed to 5000 this is to avoid gold exploits.
  36. Reduced gold quantity from trade runs by 1/2 and removed items from it because of abuse and the items removed are because they conflict with the new weight system for trade runs to limit them (it was just too easy making an abundance of gold and that can be toxic for our economy and break the game with going over max integers. Let me know if gold rate gives you more for the trade quests by default without gold rate it should give 50k for cans and 150k for fossil, fossil now gives more to incentivize the farther trade.
  37. Increased damage, harvest damage, lowered evasion from +10% per level to +4% on Soul Sickle.
  38. Lowered drop chance of Dragons Fury Nightmare item from 5% to 1% and lowered the bonus damage slightly.
  39. Removed invisible purple crystal by the purple crystal king.
  40. Added +1 slot to predator pack.
  41. Added all armor types to bone plating item.
  42. Buffed armor and added accuracy/vit rate to Alkazair's item.
  43. Added +1% accuracy rate per level to strong arm and titan helm.
  44. Buffed Prowler Movement Speed gain per level from 0.0001 to 0.0003, added 2 fortitude and 1 vitality per level.
  45. Buffed Prowler Burrow to give evasion and more stamina regen.
  46. Buffed Prowler Resistant Shell Passive to give pain armor and pain resist with a little more vit.
  47. Buffed Prowler Smash Stun cooldown from 25 seconds to 20 stunning for 4 seconds flat and added more damage.
  48. Buffed Skitter final skill renamed it to Blessing, Heals you and allies significantly also giving armor and stamina buff.
  49. Buffed Skitter Harden Shell Passive to give Evasion rate, pain armor and more HP.
  50. Buffed Skitter Scuttle, renamed to Scuttle Slap changed it back to an active skill that Bites in front of you damaging the enemy also gives you a speed buff and HP Leech.
  51. Buffed armor breaker item damage significantly.
  52. Added a spawn save location at Meatbug NPC you can save your spawn there for all the older creatures that are stuck spawning in the sky.
  53. Made the Clean up Toxic Chemicals quest from Swamp Ass NPC repeatable.
  54. Added Ghost Overlay to Soul Set.
  55. Doubled the armor values on all Body type gear.
  56. Nerfed Toxic DNA item from giving 25 Evasion per level to 10.
