Dead In Vinland will release on Steam on April 12th 2018!
Hello survivors! We hope you're okay!
Wow, it's been more than 2 years since we released Dead In Bermuda in here. Time goes by too fast!
So, as you may know, we've been working on the sequel/spin-off called Dead In Vinland. And, we're today very proud to announce that Dead In Vinland will be released on Steam on April 12th 2018!
In Dead In Vinland, you will lead an Exiled Viking Family to survive on an unknown and dangerous island. You will manage their physical and mental health, explore the island, organize your camp, deal with other human beings, discover esoteric mysteries...
If you liked Dead In Bermuda, you definitely should check out Dead In Vinland. There is A LOT more content than in DiB, there is a combat system, you will have a tyrant to defeat (Björn "Headcleaver"), the island is bigger than in DiB, there are 10 recruitable characters, many dialogue choices that will have an impact on the relationships and the story, there is a weather system, many new crafts...
So yeah, we put a lot of efforts into improving every aspect of Dead In Bermuda.

Dead In Vinland news!
Hello Survivors,
Long time no see! We've been hard at work these past months on the sequel/spin off/whatever of DiB. We've at last reached the time when we have a stable first prototype up and running.
I'll make it short on the news, if you want the whole story check the latest dev blog entry
We now are confident that we will be able to implement every feature we planned at the beginning. The game as it is now is already a major upgrade over DiB, and you'll see we have some more surprises up our sleeves ;)
But to be able to do it, we already know that we will be needing a bit more time than we thought. So we delayed the release date to JANUARY 2018.
We're already showing the game here and there, but the major news will be revealed at GAMESCOM 2017, this summer.
So keep tuned with us, follow us on our Twitter, Facebook or Instagram to have the latest news on the development of the game!
-Keep on surviving!
We survived one year! (Big announcement inside)
Hey survivors,
It has been exactly 1 full year since we released the game. Yay, still alive! To celebrate that, WE are giving you a present.
I already said here and there that we were working on a sequel, so now it’s time to officially say it: WE ARE WORKING ON A SEQUEL.
But… Surprise, surprise, this sequel is not called Dead In Bermuda 2, as you’d expect, but
Dead In Vinland
(Dramatic pause)
DiV will tell the tale of a Viking family forced to go into exile, and ending up stranded on an unknown, strange Island. With no hope of going back, they will have to start a new life there and find ways to survive the numerous dangers that lie ahead.
I won’t say much more for now about the setting. Just that you will quickly encounter other stranded people on the island. As a player, you will have the opportunity to welcome them to your camp and to expel them as you please.
You will also discover a LOT more about the background history that ties the two games together, the so called “strange blue people”.
In terms of new features, there will be A LOT. We will disclose them now and then on Twitter, so don’t hesitate to follow us! https://twitter.com/deadingames
We're hoping to release DiV in Q3 2017, if everything goes according to plan – and it should.
And last but not least, the first Work In Progress concept art for the game…
Don’t hesitate to leave questions in the comment section, we will answer what we can.
Happy surviving!

Dead In Bermuda released on iOS and Android!
Hey survivors!
We are happy to announce that you will now be able to play Dead In Bermuda during your boring time in the bus, the metro, on the toilets, waiting for your date, if you are lost on a desert island, because the game has released on both iOS and Android mobiles and tablets, at the incredibly low price of $4.99!
The release of the mobile version was an opportunity to improve the Russian translation. We therefore want to give a big THX to the GoldenPenStudio's team (https://www.facebook.com/goldenpenstudio/) which improved the whole Russian translation! A big thank you :)
(The updated russian translation will be up on Steam in a few days)
It's also time to officially announce that we started working on the follow-up, listening to many feedbacks you people gave to us, but also many surprises... I think you will be. Surprised.
We will start to give away some infos on it for the game's 1st year anniversary, so keep tuned!
