Full release version 1.0 is now online!
Hello monster hunter! Dead Moon is ready and we can hardly believe it by ourselves.
We would like to thank all those who have supported us with their ideas and suggestions. It was nice to see how we used Early Access and what the result could be. Who knows the first version of Dead Moon knows what we are talking about. As we are a very small team it was not always possible for us to fix all bugs immediately but we think Dead Moon deserves to be released from Early Access now.
The following contents come on top again:
- Added the possibility to change episode and difficulty level during the running game without leaving the game
- The holobuttons for the boxes should now work more robustly
- Added new 3D objects (Small medikits, Big Armor and Flux-Extender-Gate doors, ...)
- Higher level of details in some maps
- Numerous new collision checks
Of course we continue to collect your wishes and suggestions for further updates. So feel free to post in our forum.
We hope you have a lot of fun with this indie title and wish you a lot of fun during the monster hunt ... see you on Stickney 2!
Full Release Dev Log
For our next update and the exit from the Eearly Access we added new models and functions. We have thought again about what is most important to us and the community in terms of additional functions and so on.
Clearly we missed the "back to start" function in our interactive menu. Our new door for the Flux Extender Gates now offers this possibility. We ❤️ VR interactivity!
We also wanted to work on our simple models. In the low poly area it is always a challenge to find a good middle way. Our little "first aiders" now look more beautiful. In addition, it should no longer happen that the small medikits are harder to reach while sitting or a readjustment is necessary. We ❤️ indie VR HP!
Our retro armor will support you with the next update. For a better differentiation of our armor we have designed a retro version that gives you the perfect feel of a classic FPS. Clearly ... this armor is armor. We ❤️ indie VR armor!

Dev Log
Hi you monster hunters and berserkers,
with the next update and the exit from the EA-Status there will be the option to get back to the Flux-Extender-Gates.
Furthermore these new little helpers will support you with the next update.
We are also still busy with bugfixing.
VR game of the year
Hello monster hunters and those who still want to become one,
you think if it deserves a title to be "VR game of the year" then Dead Moon?
You've had a lot of fun with Dead Moon so far and want to support us for even more awesome content like bigger weapons, bigger enemies, new episodes and more features? You know the potential of Dead Moon and you have blood thirst?
Then we would be very happy about your voting for us. YEAH!
Dead Moon is going to leave Early Access status
Hello monster hunters,
Dead Moon is now ready to leave Early Access status. We were able to realize the basic idea of a solid horror shooter for VR that didn't exist before. Fast action, many monsters and a bloody fun with depth effect. Looking back, it can be said that the current version is hardly comparable with the initial version. This is how we imagined our Early Access! We would also like to thank the community for their ideas.
We wish all monster hunters and those who want to become one a lot of fun with Dead Moon - Revenge on Phobos - We ❤️ VR blood!
Update Round 11.1 - More Blood
