Dead Some Day v3 is now in early access.

- DSD is now using Synty Studios Polygon Characters from simple
- more advanced character creator and clothing system

- the testing dojo now has more ways to test/play with weapons

2.7.5 Released - Map optimizations and new locations added

The final planned release for 2.7 - fixed/additions to the map, as well as making sure it uses as few draw calls as needed.

- map optimizations - meshes merged and using draw lists (if you device supports it)
- streaming optimizations, more things put into smaller chunked maps
- big map expansion, new locations

2.8 development is now underway!

One thing coming in 2.8 is updated jets including flight surfaces and improved physics.

2.7.4 Released - "processors" and god mode

(this was released a month ago, sorry about the missed announcement)

- emote animations
- god mode first iteration
- grenade launchers
- processors, lowered fuel requirements

2.7.3 Released - Skydiving, Zombie Mode & Processors

2.7 is almost complete, we now can turn into zombies (after you've been infected) sky dive, and process ore and other materials into new and more useful materials.

Up next is god/admin mode, bug fixes, map additions and a few surprises. Stay tuned.

new: zombie mode - can revive as a zombie if (a: body is intact, and b: body is 100% infected)
new: zombie meat - cooked and uncooked, does damage if you eat it, but increases your infection level

Oil Processor (Oil Refinery, Oil Refinery Huge, Oil Refinery Efficient) - turns oil into gas.

2.7.2 Released - New throwable weapons & Unreal Engine 4.19.0 Upgrade

new: throwables expanded -
THROWABLE ROCK - does damage if connects mid air with target
BEAR TRAP - does damage if player/npc walks over
PIPE BOMB - like grenade but lower power
DYNAMITE SINGLE - like grenade but higher power
DYNAMITE QUAD - like grenade but much higher power
GRENADE - explodes after duration of time
SMOKE - expels smoke for a duration of time
POISON - expels a damage cloud that does damage to players through armor
CLAYMORE - explodes if a player comes in contact
C4 - sticks to a target and explodes

bugfix: crafting receipts adjusted to prevent duping
bugfix: gold transfering allowing duping bug fixed
bugfix: vehicle ammo now works correct
bugfix: faster walk speed if walking diagonally when encumbered
bugfix: shaders fixed because not downgraded from my lighting test correctly
tweak: all structures excluding player built ones are now invulnerable - this is a temporary measure
tweak: item card for inventory and transfer now includes level and damage

2.7.1 Released - More Vendor Features

Features have been added to allow players to retain wealth. Getting killed before resulted in a total loss of everything - now you can store some items, gold and cars. More coming soon - thanks for your support.

new: car garage - store and recall your vehicle from various garage locations throughout the map for a cost of 100 gold
new: personal storage - inside the newbton safezone and the markets there is a locker that you can store your personal items safely
new: banker - you can save your gold at the banker - this banked gold can be used from all the vendors. (note: This feature requires pro on mobile)
new: the repair vendor can repair the clothing/armor you are currently wearing
new: banker/vendors can convert gold bars to coins automatically for you and is counted in your total gold #
bugfix: gold bars picked up from npcs had damage to them devaluing them

2.7.0 Released - The Gold Standard

The Gold Standard release brings new guns, vendors and many fixes to the game. More coming soon!

new: new player info card, shows HP and ARMOR
new: many new guns, lmg, smg, ar, rifle, shotguns and airsoft
new: more bullet types added, airsoft, 22, 357, 567, 762, .50 cal
new: newbton safe zone - start here with a few vendors to get you started
new: vendors - can buy and sell items. value of items depends on level/durability
new: gold coins, bars and ore created - gold is now the in world currency, bars will be granted if sales transactions are over 1000. 1 gold bar can be sold for 1000 coins
new: repair vendor - can repair items up to specific durability levels. Find different repair vendors to repair to higher levels of durability.
new: input settings has been expanded to have input settings for on foot, in vehicle and aircraft - each setting group has sensitivity and inversion options
new: inventory ui improved and stats window in inventory now shows more information
new: when objects pop in/out from culling, it its now animated
new: free brains for checking out the discord/forum and steam page for the game - thank you for looking at our other platforms and sharing the game

new: stance system - able to sit/sleep from a radial menu, hold shift to run, tap shift to bring up radial.

Cleaned up some issues with 2.6.0, more bugs have been identified since this was published so expect a 2.6.2 soon.

bugfix: vehicles hp, level and armor #'s were not correct sometimes when playing multiplayer
bugfix: multiplayer server was letting players into all dungeons regardless of level

bugfix: vehicle collisions detection now works as intended (update: still one more issue to be resolved - created a new bug tho thats fixed in 2.6.2
