2.6.0 Released - New Vehicles & More Dungeons

new: profile config screen now shows preview of default skin tone/hair settings
new: new vehicles
new: vehicle boost mode (shift on PC, button on mobile) faster speed/accel, higher fuel use, causes damage to vehicle
new: race track map (sloped oval)
new: free look mode - hold left-alt and mouse move to free look around your character or vehicle (PC Only)

new: dungeon tab on map screen now shows distances from dungeon in menu and on screen markets
new: new dirt jumps and loop ramps can be built
new: bosses NPCs, (The Priest, The Merc and The Doctor) found in dungeons only (can be created in creative mode too)

tweak: alerts on why you cant jump, i.e. energy or weight issue
ai: NPC AI - disengages if loses sight

2.6.0 (Release Candidate 1) has been released for both PC & Android

- cars collide with zombies and players better



- bosses added, in the dungeons or can be spawned in creative mode

2.6.0.10243 (Beta 5) has been released for both PC & Android

This build cleans up a lot of bugs with the new vehicles as well introduces how the new vehicles will become stronger.

New blocks have been added



XP Block - hit a vehicle with this to give it experience. As the vehicle levels up, it will gain more MAX hit-points. If the vehicle is capable of being armored, it will gain more MAX armor hit-points.

Armor Block - hit a vehicle with this block to add armor HPs. This will increase the total HP of a vehicle. Note: if you boost while driving your vehicle, it will not go against your armor HP.

- these new blocks will drop on npc kills, a special block that is 100x more effect will drop from bosses (more on that later)

- more V2 door upgrades - bakery, mini-mall, stripclub

- tweaks to zombie AI and spawner logic. Zombie now hear you if you are running/moving near them. They will come and investigate.

- aircraft/planes now use mouse input to change your direction



2.6.0.10241 (Beta 4) has been released for both PC & Android

Cleaned up the UI, addressed some frustrations I've seen on lets plays & made progress on turreted vehicles

This release brings in the full fleet of new vehicle (city, farm + military vehicles)



- the full fleet of vehicles have been added
- new vehicles spawn in survival world now
- boost on mobile, boosting causes damage to vehicle
- newbton zombies only lvl 1 and 2, as well less overall
- map loading is now async
- more bugfixes

The work now will be turreted vehicles, dungeons and more non movement aspects of the vehicles.

2.5.7 Released - Post Launch Bug Fixes, AI Improvements & Tweaks

- new: new keyboard short cuts to map, armor, creative, crafting, skills, player list, emotes and quick chats
- bugfix: zombies would spawn in t-pose
- bugfix: survivors NPCs would have trouble finding hiding spots (and would waste cpu)
- bugfix: bandit ai was shooting level 0 bullets without effects
- bugfix: bandit ai was not attacking if you damaged them
- bugfix: when driving a vehicle multiplayer, map area wouldnt load until you ejected
- bugfix: cartoonish particle effect on hard landing was reported to crash some mobile devices, on mobile uses a more basic particle effect
- bugfix: map default turrets were respawning all messed up, temp fix: they will no longer respawn
- tweak: replication ranges have been adjusted for PCs with high rendering ability
- tweak: changed darkness so it wasnt so dark - not fun for people, especially when joining a server as new player at night
- tweak: looking at things to high light them wasnt using right start position (better for selecting)

2.5.6 Released - NPC Single player issue

There was a bug stopping zombies and other npcs from spawning in single player, that's been fixed.

- bugfix: ejected bullet casings spawned from some guns were not acting correctly
- bugfix: npcs not spawning correctly in single player
- bugfix: hospital dungeon was not sub loading correctly
- bugfix: air drop guns were spawning at level 0, now are 1-255

2.6 - More Dungeons & New Cars - In Development



For 2.6 there will be a huge focus on new Vehicles & and expanding the dungeon system created in 2.5

You probably have noticed the vehicles don't move well currently, and the wheels don't move/rotate. With 2.6 this has been resolved and the new survival vehicles from the Synty studios pack will be integrated. I have a few new things I want vehicles to be able to do so stay tuned for updates.
