Thanks to your feedback we recentrly found out that you cannot progress after level 21 after completing it untill you launch the map again (go to Castle and press Game once again). It was fixed in this patch.
removed end-game music playing in wrong level
adjusted the scale of cave-rocks on table in 21 level that could prevent enemies from walking
fixed Arena achievement
all navigation for ai was rebuild.
P.S.: 24-Jan-addition - if your Castle health is zero and you have no money to restore you couldn't start the wave but the table showed that the wave is running. It was fixed.
Patch 1.3
- fixed issue when touching menu buttons with oculus controller the poses was changes many times which prevented players from normally pressing the buttons
- fixed issues when you couldn't teleport over the table on some battle levels

What's happened with the game during Early Access?
we rework the whole visual part
we added new territories where basttes take place
we added new enemies
we added new mechanics
we added entertainment part into the game
we totally change the tutorial - now it's separate training level
we made huge changes to the gameplay and many bugfixes
What's new in this update:
There is a new room in the Castle - Dressing Room. There are 6 skins availalbe for the captive - you can buy them for game money + Early Access dress. You can change clothes for the captive woman there by clicking the suits
Added start cutscene in Orc's settlement
Added final cutscene, where you'll be offered a map for all the lands. It will alow you to navigate to any location you want from the Castle.
After completing the main 30 levels you will be able go to any map to earn money/achievements or just to play. Each of them will have bats and mages.
Also there will be some changes in the Castle after that ;-)
Kiugur (big green orc in business suit) now has voice! He will speak from time to time and react to the victories or defeats
increase overlap of some buttons to avoid multiple change of animation poses on fully tracked fingers
added hit castle effects
improved fuction of chosing points for cleaning for Orca so now there should be zero values
added additional checking in the spawn enemies fuction so there should be new mobs after wave's end usually happened on defeat in highlevels
added additional spawn points - now they are different for usual mobs rotations and for unique mobs rotaions - this should help prevent stacking when 2 enemies spawn at 1 point
fixed mage attack the Balista tower - now he will ignore it
fixed progress reset during quitting the game from the board on the table
optimized text-meshes
increased minesweeper reward for victory to 50 coins
fixed that when you second time started playing dice you didn't pay money at all if you didn't change the bet
other multiple minor fixes
P.S.: we couldn't raise price at the moment we release out of Early Access otherwise there won't be discount to celebrate it, so the price will increase from $6.99 USD to $10.99 USD when the discount is over

Next week (planing for 22 July) Defendion is leaving Early Access.
All players who bought the game before this date will be granted an unique dress for the captive.
By the way in the release version of the game you will be able to buy other clothes for her.
Also we remind you of increasing the price. If you planned to buy the game - it's high time to do so.

This summer Defendion is going to leave Early Access. We are planing to increase the price when it happens so now you have the opportunity to buy the game at lower price.

What's new:
we implemented the so much requested feature as removing any single tower right on the battleboard. You need just to try to grab it and the timer with a hint will show up. You will get the money for it based on the tower health and level.
There is also a new demo table in the training level so you can watch and try to destroy anything
now tracking for the grid when you take the tower comes from the tower not the hand - so the choice of the place to put will be more evident and it will coincide with the location of the tower itself
now the highlighting of the grid cell will be more visible both on dark and light locations
now you can move the table down to adjust the height
Other:
fixed bug when you cleared the board the Balista towers were taken away
fixed collisions of the table and the towers while they are not on the battleboard
updated to the latest version of the SteamVR Input plugin
Update 17 - Dice
What's new:
new table game for earning money, make a bet and play with Orc if you win you will double your money depending on your bet
This is not the final look of the game, there will be more changes in future updates
now when you overlap with the enemy book around the enemies images there will appear enemy model with current progress depeding on the current wave

fixed Orc's Victory animation
fixed that the values for mage and bat was incorrect in the enemy book

Update 16 - Ballista
What's new:
New tower - Ballista with all 5 level upgrades It has high firerate and speed rotation but low damage and it shoot only flying enemies (that is bats and the mage). You don't have to buy it as you already have 4 towers on the battleboard. It cannot be destroyed.
Base damage 0.5, rotation speed - 10. firerate - 1 sec, start upgrade price - 250
Rotation: now you can rotate yourself using right controller thumbstick on 90 degrees, left controller thumbstick is for moving around (left, right forward, back)
Pressing thumbstick on both controllers is still teleporting
now firerate of arrowed tower will be change with each upgrade for 0.1 (cap is 0.5)
now towers price will increase for 5 coins each level
now towers upgrade price will increase for half base price each level (e.g. flaming tower upgrade from 0 to 1 costs 300 coins, ugrade from 1 to 2 will cost 450 coins, from 2 to 3 - 600 coins)
added a new socket for animation gripping cannon lvl 3 and higher
now you turn on/off the Orca's mask - just touch her face
Changes and fixes:
fixed that the cups didn't return to the table when throwing it on the floor
fixed that tutorial castle couldn't be damaged
fixed that placing the Flaming tower lvl 4 on the battleboard made it invisible
now when you start the waves on Traininng level the background music will stop playing

Update 15
What's new:
cannon tower now changes its appearance up to 5 level
cannon rotation speed now increases every level for 0.5 and fire rate decreases for 0.1 (cap is 0.5 sec - that means that the cannon cannot shoot faster that 1 time per 0.5 sec)
now the confirmation board on the table will be attach to table so when you teleport anywhere with it the confirmation will stay on the table
adjusted the postion of the flaming tower icon on the table so it was visible
Fixes:
fixed that arrowed tower matertial was wrong on the table when upgrading to lvl 3-4
fixed too high values of towers health when upgrading already existed items (Newly spawned towers had correct values)
