UPDATE #6

Defense: Abominations v1.9 is now online!



This version now includes boss fights!







They will appear on wave 25 and are undetectable by your turrets! Fight it 1 vs 1 until you wear down their shields and make them detectable by your turrets so they can deliver the final blow! But be careful, their attacks can destroy your turrets, leaving you vulnerable to the attack of the wave enemies!

New enemies now wander the map off-waves. They will attack you if you wander off too much from the spawn points. These will give special drops in the future.



And several other small fixes and additions

  • The player can no longer collide with his turrets.
  • You can now enable or disable vertical sync via the options menu.
  • Improved path-finding for the enemies. But there are still a couple things work on.
  • Several other small fixes.

The bosses aren't hard, but if they catch you with a short supply of turrets or at a low level, you are going to suffer. There are three key strategies to defeat them.

  • Spread your turrets as much as you can before wave 25 so you can have some room to fight. Otherwise, he could destroy all your turrets with ease and the wave monsters will overwhelm you.
  • Shoot them as soon as you spot them. The bosses are initially slow, take advantage of the time they take to get to you, damage him as much as you can before he gets into your perimeter.
  • Manage your stamina, get into his close range and run away when he starts an attack animation. Shoot it while he is attacking.


We hope you all enjoy this update. All through the week, we'll be doing balancing changes to the bosses, as well as additions here and there to complement this update, so feel free to post about any bug you may find and we'll fix it asap.

Time splatter is a small episodic rail shooter game where our protagonist, after touching an ancient monolith, is transported to the times where the black plague transformed people into zombie like creatures and knights protected the land. [Another gif below....]



At launch, only chapter 1 will be available, but we plan to release two more chapters... for free. If the game does well, there are concepts for another three, but lets not get ahead hehe.

    <*>Spanish Language. You can now change the game language to spanish via the options menu. Note that after you select the language, the game will shut. The language change will take place once you launch it again.
    <*>FullScreen Fix. The fullscreen toggle at the options menu now works properly.

    There is a bug where several words in spanish pop up in the English version, such as timeleft as "preparate". Also, there is a bug where the resolution is not being properly saved and launches the game at max resolution. We will patch this in a few hours.

      <*>Unlocked Gadgets in HUD. When the game starts, icons of the currently available weapons and turrets will pop up, be there for a few seconds and then disapear.
      <*>Ammo Bug Fix. Fixed a bug where the player was also receiving ammo of non-acquired weapons.
      <*>Gameplay Hints. Random strategy tips will now be showcased at the loading screen.
      <*>Toggle Fullscreen fix. Fixed a bug related to reverting back to fullscreen mode.
      <*>Ceiling bug fix. Fixed a bug where the player could go tru the ceiling in some spots.
      <*>Danger Notice. A warning will now appear in the screen when the player wanders into an enemy spawn. This place will now also be forbidden to place turrets.
      <*>Rockets Damage. Several balancing changes have been made to the rockets damage.

      Shortly after uploading this update, we noticed that the fullscreen mode toggle box doesn't update if you close the game in windowed mode. Just click the box twice to return to fullscreen now. We'll patch this shortly.
