Bug Fixes




  • Fixed a bug where cards could not be used during the first turn of the second phase of the Dunestalker fight.
  • Fixed a visual bug where the invulnerable particle would not be displayed in the second phase of the Dunestalker fight.
  • Fixed a bug where Soul of Desolation could in extremely rare circumstances use Crystallize on an ally minion if it has untargetable.
  • Fixed a bug where Queen Cobra would use Constrict on all allies if the Perpetual Rock curse would be active.
  • Fixed a bug where the "Accept the offer to trade" option would not purge a random card when chosen in the "My Lords" random encounter.
  • Fixed a bug where a corrupted card would appear if the Eternal Summoner would return upgraded minions.
  • Fixed a bug where using the Transform option while having the Holder of Ruins curse would remove the Immovable statues from the deck.
  • Fixed an issue where leaving the game and re-entering at the Wish Jinn would heal the player again.
  • Fixed a bug where the portrait of the enemy in the enemy inspect would sometimes show the wrong portrait.
  • Neophyte's Recovering Blades will now successfully apply on Neophyte instead of instantly healing.
  • Added missing text in the first upgrade of Ethereal Duel.
  • Added missing text in an option of the random encounter: "My cousin the Jackal".
  • Fixed a bug where switching characters in the Spellbook would showcase the previous character's cards.



Quality of Life




  • Added a number counter on the Rebirth passive in order to better track it.
  • Added feedback when hovering over the Deck, Reputation and Settings icons.
  • Removed the unnecessary Mana Cost from the Immovable statue cost.
  • When picking the Hand of Destiny perk, the purge panel will now immediately spawn instead of having to close the Reputation window.



Game Balance




  • Scorpion Guard's Glance of Terror will now add 2 stacks of Vulnerable and 2 stacks of Enfeeble instead of 4 stacks of Vulnerable.

DESERT REVENANT Leper run part 2 at 6:00 p.m GMT!

Time for another fresh Leper run. Last time we got held up by the Jinn of Flames in an extremely clutch moment, we were 1 HP away from progressing in difficulty 2! Since we took the Shadow Wounds transforms last time in the beginning of the run, we will make sure to spice things up this time by going for a very much different route!

Hello everyone! Excited to share the new patch notes with you all. We're still working hard for our next major update that is coming soon and we're still going strong when it comes to optimizing the performance in the game as well.

New Language




  • Added Simplified Chinese language to the game.


Performance




  • Massively reduced the overall size of the game on the drive.
  • Fixed an issue where the game would sometimes slightly stutter during combat.
  • Fixed an uncommon low FPS issue that would happen during long battles.


Bug Fixes




  • Fixed a bug where rarity crystals would sometimes show on different cards after upgrading cards.
  • Fixed a bug where we cannot use cards when launching the phase 2 of the Dunestalker battle.
  • Fixed a bug where Blessing of the Underworld wasn't healing the Gallu for the correct amount.
  • If the player has 0 Gold, the Golden Touch affix particle will not trigger anymore.
  • Fixed a bug where Hand of Destiny was also giving out Common cards.
  • Fixed a bug where the Curses description wasn't clear when hovering over it on the Leaderboard.
  • Fixed a bug where Commendation of Power could sometimes attempt to upgrade a Neutral card.
  • Fixed a bug where the enemy could have no target after being freed from Titan's Dream stasis effect.
  • Fixed a bug where using Pyrokinesis while having no runes would create a Burn debuff without stacks.
  • Fixed a bug where after defeat, the random encounters that were in the previous run would spawn again.
  • Fixed a bug where Grand Emergence would not correctly trigger and go into negatives.
  • Fixed a bug where Jinn of Destruction's Clash against inoffensive minion will render them unable to use their ability for the remainder of battle.
  • Fixed an issue where the Alu's Haunt particle effect would linger on a platform after the owner of that debuff would be defeated.
  • The algorithm for rarity in rewards will now be properly reset after a run.


Quality of Life




  • Dynamic numbers in buffs, debuffs, passives and states are now color coded.
  • The entire Draw Pile is now being saved on begin battle, so restarting a fight will not change the order of the initial Draw Pile.
  • Removed unnecessary scroll bars in some of the UI panels.
  • Removed Neutral and NPC cards from the Merchant's upgrade panel to remove distractions.
  • Removed rarity crystal from the Neutral and NPC cards.
  • Cleaned up the Panel before joining the Dunestalker battle and removed one unnecessary extra click.
  • Character's HP is now displayed after the Mini boss when choosing the rewards.
  • It is now possible to hover over the buffs and talents to check their description while on the map.
  • Further enhancement to the targeting when using the ALT button to Self target.
  • When getting a card during battle from an enemy, it will now be displayed in the middle of the screen for a brief moment with a message to accompany it.
  • After obtaining a card from an NPC, it will now be displayed after the end of the dialogue.
  • Some other minor quality of life changes.

Desert Revenant DEV Stream! Full Leper run!

Hello everyone!

Last time we had a very fun and successful run with the Seer and we went all the way by defeating the 3 Jinn Kings. We were also able to complete a couple of achievements along the way!

This evening at 5:30 p.m GMT, we will be attempting to do the same but with the Leper this time! Just like you guys, we're still discovering some very unusual combos while playing, make sure to hop in the stream with us :)

DESERT REVENANT Developer Stream part 2!

Hello everyone!

We're going to continue this weekend's run with the Leper this evening at 6:00 p.m GMT! We've had a lot of nervy and clutch moments last time but we built a pretty awesome deck and got us some interesting talents.

This evening we're going to continue the run and try to defeat both the Golden King and King of Vengeance to hopefully get ourselves a Victory run!

We will be playing with either the Seer and the Leper (Depends on the mood!) and try and discover some of the new enemies that were added to the game that we haven't still seen on stream! And of course to try and fulfill the ultimate goal of defeating the Jinn Kings!

Hello everyone! Check out the fixes for patch 1.1.3:

Gameplay Bugs




  • Fixed a bug where in some instances in Omlakk's Seat, the game would completely stop at the end of the path.
  • Fixed a bug where Superstorm would count as multiple spells instead of multiple attacks.
  • Titan's Dream will no longer be able to use Stasis on a character that already has the debuff.
  • Tainted Bond's Second upgrade will now correctly no longer apply Lifeblood.
  • Fixed a bug where spells that target multiple enemies would also affect King of Vengeance during Retreat.
  • Fixed a bug where Shadow Burst and Arcane Deluge could be applied to Invulnerable targets.



Visual and Audio Fixes




  • Fixed Lifeblood tooltip description.
  • Fixed a bug where using Pyrokinesis without Runes would apply a Burn debuff on all enemies.
  • Added the correct "Get Hit" animation for Dragon Avatar and Fire Spitter.
  • Fire Spitter's basic attack particle will now correctly come out of the torch.
  • Improved collisions on all the Sand Ogre parts for smoother targeting.
  • Added a new particle effect for Stasis.
  • Fixed Maran's Whispers center of gravity. Particle effects will be correctly following the character.
  • Fixed Jinn of Darkness' center of gravity. Particle effects will be correctly following the character.
  • Fixed an issue where the sound of closing a panel at the Wish Jinn would trigger twice.



Balance Changes




  • Reduced the chance of the Realm Ripper targeting itself by 15%.



Hotfix 1.1.2

Hello! Here are some quick fixes for the 1.1.2 Hotfix:

Bug Fixes




  • Fixed a bug where the Seer could not get random cards from the random encounters.
  • Fixed a visual bug that would not highlight the curses when scrolling through the Leaderboard.
  • Fixed a bug where the Dynamic text of some spells with multiple targets would not be correctly displayed.
  • Updated Berserk and Emerge tooltips.



We are now focusing mostly on some other performance and Quality of Life aspects of the game (Including UX/UI), and start updating the game during these rolling hotfixes, which should be out every now and then!

We will also soon release a new Dev update to discuss our next Major patch with the introduction of the new Character and some of our Milestones. Stay tuned!
