Telefrag VR - We're staying on crossplay path. Win a key for the game!

We would like to share with you more news about our upcoming PvP Arena Shooter - Telefrag VR. We decided to add the Cross-platform PvP Multiplayer, which means that players can find their opponents, between different devices. Owners of Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, PlayStation VR, and Windows Mixed Reality devices will be able to compete with each other in places scattered around the Galactic Roman Empire.

Three main reasons why we made such a decision:
• Faster matchmaking - We know that multiplayer games are best played when there are many players in it. Everybody hates waiting for a long time in the lobby.
• Friends - We didn't want to cut you off from friends just because they chose a different platform to play.
• Equality - VR also eliminates one of the most common arguments against crossplay: keyboard + mouse are giving a significant advantage. Not here. Last week we revealed new locomotion type in the game - Smooth locomotion. Answering your questions from Reddit - we ensure you that both locomotion types (Dash & Smooth) will be balanced in terms of potential advantages of using one of the mentioned types.

Since we updated our Steam page, we would like to reveal more details about the next map from Telefrag VR. Ladies and gentleman, here's The Mobius Villa!
"This place is the perfect reproduction of the ancient architecture of Rome. The traditional Roman Domus contains specific elements like peristyle, atrium or beautiful sculptures on every corner. But you haven't come here to watch, don't you? Better be ready and think about how you can dominate your enemies in PvP clashes..."
The villa is slightly different from The Fallen Champion, which construction was focused on the wide-open spaces. Here, we are dealing with a completely different picture of the futuristic Roman Empire - Calmness and prosperity can be seen at first glance. The scheme and stages of creating the map will indeed be shown to you on the occasion of the post-mortem, but in today's news, we will focus primarily on the most significant differences from the first map.
The Mobius Villa is a narrow battlefield, with a mass of corridors and nooks where the enemy can lurk. The passage through the villa's main floor doesn't have to be packed with traps, because with the help of teleport guns and gates you can quickly change your location, using the minimum spaces between columns or given rooms. The underpassage is also worth checking thanks to easy accessibility. But you probably know the risks waiting for you, staying too long in the open area.
Teleport gates are also able to pull you out of a place that in theory seems to be a dead end. If the enemy has not left a trap for you on the other side of the portal - you can feel safe.

Telefrag VR Weapons: Flak Cannon
Let us introduce the another weapons from Telefrag VR!
FLAK CANNON
Flak Cannon, commonly known as the Flak, is a weapon designed for melee combat. It encourages the player to get up close and personal with their enemies. Thanks to the optional firing mode, it can be also used for longer distances, using sticky shells. 💥
Choosing loadout featuring this weapon requires a few training games with bots until you master it. The well-used firearm can sow destruction. Primarily it's worth to set up traps around the map. It will allow you to get rid of the enemy's HP, and thus lead to his rapid death.

After a short break, we're more than happy that we can show you final models of the weapons, which you will soon test in action on the arenas. Each of the weapons is characterized by different properties, so it's up to you to choose which weapon suits your fighting style best.
PLASMA RIFLE
This high-tech weapon is a staple in the military world thanks to its ammo capacity and extensive range. Without a doubt, full auto spread is one of the main advantages of this weapon. The gun will interest players who have a precise aim. Plasma can knock armor with a few punches, but unlike other weapons, it does not forgive mistakes that the enemy can quickly use against you. So consider choosing a loadout with an additional firearm that has a wider area of effect.

Telefrag VR - Dare you enter the arena?
Telefrag VR is a dynamic PvP multiplayer arena shooter set in alternative universe, where the Roman Empire never collapsed. Despite the advanced development, the Empire remembers its history and traditions, including the most spectacular and prestigious ones - Gladiator Games.
You take on the role of a new breed of a gladiator on your road to becoming the champion. Use your speed, aim, and wits to outmaneuver and defeat your enemies on the abstract arenas.
Pick one of the futuristic weapons, including the one and only Teleport Gun. This little buddy can not only help you move quickly to another place, but it will also serve you as a powerful weapon. If you remember the classic arena shooters from the turn of the century, you will definitely know what "Telefrag" stands for! Grab health and armor pickups placed on the map, use portals to pursue your enemy, and become a legend in the most popular games in the universe.
Pre-Alpha phase; The new map
The first official information about Telefrag VR was revealed during last year's Gamescom in Cologne, Germany. Back then we presented the Pre-Alpha version, and we tested the first implemented features. Received feedback from the players defenitely help us improved the gameplay flow, so we're very excited and can't wait to reveal all the new features that evolved since Pre-Alpha phase. Among other improvements, we finished the first official map - Fallen Champion. This is a monument to a long-forgotten champion of people erased from the history books. The now crumbling Fallen Champion is an arena that attracts fans of gladiatoral games from all around the universe.

Detached at PAX West in Seattle
After an amazing event in Cologne, Germany, it's time to go overseas! We invite all players to meet in Seattle! We are coming back to you with the long-awaited announcement. Today, Detached has its premiere at the PlayStation Store. Players can now start the fight for survival in space and zero-G environment, which was previously reserved entertainment only for Oculus Rift and HTC Vive owners.

Update #04 - Cross-platform PvP and Epilogue level
Why is it worth being interested in the premiere of the game for other consoles? According to previous information on Steam, Detached version on Steam today receives many improvements and news! Here is what we have prepared for you:
- New map for Race mode and PvP cross-platform. Finally, players can fight on four maps, two for each mode. The most important thing, however, is that players with Oculus Rift and HTC Vive goggles can participate in multiplayer games, as well as owners of PS VR equipment, as well as ... Non-VR Edition available in the Steam store after this link (along with the free demo to download)
- Support for Windows Mixed Reality devices - We meet the requests of players who have opted for alternative virtual reality devices. The update makes the new devices with the WMR system compatible with Detached.
- New content for single player mode - Discover the alternative ending of history thanks to a new ending in the game! Players receive nearly an hour of new content, along with achievements to gain. What will you do when the enemy cruiser intercepts your capsule and every move in the room captures the cannon? Prove that you are able to get out of any oppression, and advanced EVA suit modules are your best friends.
