Detached - Premiere Date pushed to July 19th [PSVR, non-VR]
Detached release for PlayStation VR and the Steam non-VR version are being moved back to July 19th. We focused on passing the certification while forgetting that the distribution forms need to be filled out a good chunk of time ahead of the launch date. We assure you that both the PSVR and non-VR version are ready to launch. You can expect a challenging gameplay for both players preferring safe space exploration as well as those who expect a more extreme experience from their VR games.
July 19th is also the moment when non-VR players will be able to compete in space with players who own the following VR devices: Oculus Rift, HTC VIVE, Windows Mixed Reality and PlayStation VR goggles. The cross-platform PvP will also be available as a non-VR demo version, available on our the relase day on the Steam store!

Detached - New Level - Epilogue (Enemy Land)
Hi!
Friday is the best day to reveal more details about the upcoming level which will appear in Detached on all supported devices on 6th July (along with the PlayStation VR and Steam non-VR version launch). Exactly, if you don't know yet, in Detached you will be able to play without the use of VR goggles, and also to face your opponent in two multiplayer modes thanks to the cross-platform PvP.
One of the new features will also be an additional map in single player mode, which will extend gameplay time by additional 30 minutes. Check more details below. Where will you fight for survival this time?
When, after great hardships, you managed to reach the rescue capsule and set up a safe course, you thought that you could breathe a sigh of relief from all dangers. For your misfortune, someone decided to solve the conflict and seize your tiny capsule, closing you into a trap.
Hot Pursuit
Like Tantive IV trapped inside huge Imperial I-class Star Destroyer, your task will be to escape from the enemy ship, which is bristling with dangerous watchtowers. The turrets instantly detect movement and launch a series of homing missiles in your direction. A hard nut to crack, right?
In addition to dealing with them, you have to travel inside the spaceship to disable the hatch blocking field. To do this, you will take a cheerful walk to the Reactor Core, which is the heart of the enemy ship. Seems like an easy job, but trust me, it isn't.
You have two options. I won't tell you which seems more reasonable, but... sometimes it's better to take a risk. It depends on you whether you like to enter into conflicts like guys from The Expendables a or avoid the threat from far away, trying to remain imperceptible to hostile sensors.
The map, which is also an epilogue, will show you an alternative end to the single player story. It will also be available for players who do not have VR goggles from July 6. So... it's time to make some chaos in space, huh?

Finally, we can announce to you a long-kept secret. Detached receives the Cross-Platform PvP multiplayer, thanks to which you can play with the players regardless of the device they have. The optimized multi-player mode offers two game modes for players who have Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, PlayStation VR and... PC version!

Cross-Platform PvP // Non-VR version
We didn't make a mistake! Detached will come in a non-VR version on Steam exactly on July 6th, as well as a version for PlayStation VR. Soon, there will also be a free desktop demo available, where you'll be able to see what the extreme space game looks like without using VR goggles! However, this is not all news for today.
Expanded single player mode
As mentioned earlier, Detached will receive more maps for Race mode, and the single player story mode will be extended by an additional 30 minutes of gameplay. Another sneak peak from the place where there is an impassable stronghold can be found below. How can you get out of the middle of an enemy ship, in which danger is hitting on every corner?
So get your spacesuits, VR headsets, and PCs ready for an epic space rivalry that blasts off on July 6th this year.

Why is it worth paying attention to the upcoming premiere? The port for the Sony console is not the only novelty we have prepared for you. Detached at PAX West 2017 - Video Recap
We're back with Detached game on the trip around the biggest gaming events. This time we come back to Seattle, where during the PAX West 2017 players re-entered space in the new Race multiplayer mode, testing their flying skills in high speed around big asteroids and cosmic scrap. They proved they could become astronauts!
