Deus Ex: Mankind Divided - Patch 5 and DX12 Support
Today, we’re pleased to announce that we’re releasing the first preview version of DirectX 12 for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. If you already own Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, you will notice that the DX12 preview version has been launched as a separate branch, which can be activated in the ‘Betas’ tab within the Steam properties of the main game. We are doing this because we want to have the full involvement of the community as we push towards our final DX12 release, occurring on the week of September 19th, 2016, which will include DX12 multi-GPU support. We know that the preview version may have some minor hiccups, so your feedback will be critical to make sure that the final release is as good as it can possibly be. If you run into any issues, or have any comments, please do not hesitate to contact us and let us know!

Everyone of us here at Eidos-Montréal can’t wait for the release of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided – it almost feels a bit unreal to think it’s so close now!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vx_P10rHii4
In 2029, the oppression of the mechanically augmented has created a climate of fear and resentment, resulting in an escalation of crime and acts of terror. Amid all the chaos, Adam Jensen goes after are the Illuminati, the men and women responsible for tearing the world apart.
Deus Ex is all in details and we’re excited to see how you’ll tackle the challenges that await, and which choices you’ll make to shape your story. We can’t wait for you all to play our game and tell us about your experiences!
DirectX 12 Support in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
The Deus Ex franchise originated on PC, and we’re passionate about continuing to provide the best experience possible to our long-time fans and players on the PC.
Contrary to our previous announcement, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, which is shipping on August 23rd, will unfortunately not support DirectX 12 at launch. We have some extra work and optimizations to do for DX12, and we need more time to ensure we deliver a compelling experience. Our teams are working hard to complete the final push required here though, and we expect to release DX12 support on the week of September 5th!
We thank you for your patience, passion, and support.
