Quick Fix

Fixed bug with boxes not working. Now you right click and it will loot them. No pop ups yet but items do go in your bag, its random.

Also added a few more enemies.

Update 1.03

Test area changed to Sandbox since it will start to become more of a sandbox experience.

Crafting Updates

There are 30 items in the game, most are made or needed to make something.

Next update I will add in a few enemies that drop items, some nature resources, and the hunger and thirst bars.

Small Update

Just updated the idle/walk/run animations.

Status Update

While I mentioned updates would start off slow at first I still want remain transparent to what I'm doing, so I will post status updates on what I'm doing.

I have been doing more advertisements and updating my websites to reflect up to date information. That part of being a developer to me is very mundane and boring but it is part of the process so I have to do what I can.

As for the game I work on it every day/night so progress is being made. I do the most during the weekend, so updates will most likely come on Sundays or Mondays.

I have the inventory system working quite well, and have been adding in new recipes. When the next update does come out you will be able to craft over 30 things, need to manage hunger and thirst, and maybe have some status effects to deal with. All in the test area as the main game was meant to be show the theme and let you do many of the simple things like quest and such.

I also have a few more features I want to add to the game which I will go into later when I have those systems working.

Save Bug Fix

Fixed issued with saving and loading where you would would load under world. Fixed now, but old saves won't work anymore.

Update 1.02

Test area updated

Bank, Vender, Blacksmith are buildings now.

Loot chest by Blacksmith, testing highlight system.
Cooking menu by interacting with Cooking Pot.
Combat area test zone adding with test dummy.
Cooked meat is first cooking recipe only craftable at Cooking Pot.

Next update will have a few more craftable items, and hunger bar.

Update 1

Added new button on Main Menu screen "Test".

If you want to test out systems as I implement them then you want to go here. This Test area will be a huge area for testing new and existing features.

New Game and Load Game will begin to be used for main story content so if you don't want spoilers you may want to play Test which will play like sandbox.

Update Time Frames

The first few updates will take longer and be more or less unsceduled. This is because I'm getting all the advertising, websites, and keys in order while working on the game. After I get that in order I will begin to release updates monthly, then bi weekly and then down to weekly. I will also be making this build the test all build and create another that will be the game I release. This way you can enjoy the new features without spoiling the story.

Events

I want to have events to make the the game development of Devoured Time fun so people that suggest things and are active in the game will get to help create content like side quest, items and weapons. Interested then please join in conversations and provide feedback. Thanks
