Full Release Sneak Peek #2! - Dead Star



Today we unveil Dead Star, one of the giant bosses you will face on July.....21st PST! Yes, we changed the schedule because we want to head into Friday and the weekend with the full version live. So again our plan is to upload the new build at

Price Change


The Steam developer manual wasn't clear how long it takes until a price change goes live, so two days ago we requested for it hoping that it would be live right on our schedule. But what do you know. It's already live! So the price right now is US$14.99 which is the full price.(Of course it will differ depending on where you live) Sorry about this early change and any inconvenience it may caused, guys.

Full Release Sneak Peek! - Dead Wing


Hey guys,

Today we're back with a sneak-peek of Dead Wing, one of the new bosses you will face come the full release.

Lastly, we kind of changed the release time, and it will be live at Thursday Morning Pacific Time. Steam's full release system is kinda complicated so we can't estimate exactly what time it will be at the moment. We will let you know once it's confirmed.

The patch note for today's hotfix!

French, Spanish and Japanese?


Cards are now localized into French, Spanish, and Japanese! (Some Japanese texts may be broken. Need to be adjusted going forward.) Thank you Etrigane(French), Carlos(Spanish), and BCC(Japanese) for helpiing us with localization!

Others


New card images added! (As you can see above.)
Adjusted buffs, and debuffs.
Character piece movement changed only for Donald Gotkin for testing.
Improved animations/effects and UIs.

Heading to Kyoto, Japan to attend Bit Summit


We are going to Japan this Friday to attend Bit Summit (it's kind of like PAX of Japan). Here is the list of games being featured at the show. 2016/06/28 Hotfix!


This is one of the new cards added today. He resembles someone very famous...well at least in the 90s.


Hi guys,

Here's the details of today's hotfix!

Changes


Starting Bonus: +1 AP effect is now permanent.
When giving Level to a minion or the level of a minion increases, its base level increases.

Improvements


Battle Log: When you hover over a text in the battle log,
you can see the details of it.

The images for all the minion cards are now applied. No more stupid dummy images.
Improved the accessibility of the tutorial and its system.
Improved the AI of enemy heroes in regard to hiring minions.
Improved the card draw animation at the beginning.
Improved the special effect indicating the moving direction.
Apply effects to the dice roll.
Fixed some misspellings and grammar errors.

Fixed bugs


Fixed some spell attack errors that occurred in intersection type stages.
Fixed a bug that caused the game to crash when your hero teleports to an intersecting space.
Fixed a bug that caused the game to crash when the card Shadow Step was used in a certain situation.
Fixed a Frog Splash bug that caused your hero to jump to the current space instead when it's supposed to jump to the next space.
Fixed a bug that made it impossible to progress the game when a certain spell is used while being on a space with a minion or the spell tower.

2016/06/16 Update hotfix

Changed Wizard Armor card.


It now gives your hero +3 DEF instead of +1 DEF

Bug fixes


Corrected some misleading instructions in the Tutorial.
Fixed the save warning error you get when you edit your deck in the deck builder.
Fixed the error that takes your hero to a wrong space when you use a jump or teleport spell,
Fixed the error that does not reset the AP for a hero in standby in the boss stage.
Fixed the error that makes the hero invisible when he teleports while in stealth mode.
Fixed the error that occurs when the ownership of Arena Spectator is swapped.
Fixed the error that displays a wrong character's face during a conversation in some stages.
Fixed the error that displays UIs distortedly when played in any resolution other than 16:9.

The Update is Now Live! Defeat Beerholder!


Hey guys, as I mentioned before this update will help us decide when to fully launch the game so please give us a lot of feedback/reports, and hopefully you guys enjoy the new update! Now, here's the patch note.

Added the Nasty Big Boss "Beerholder"


You can take up to three heroes and battle this guy working as a team!

Hideous!

Added Party System.


- Setup a party consisting of three heroes.
- Only one of three heroes can be played in a typical stage.
- However!, as I mentioned above, in the boss stage, all three heroes can participate.


Added Tutorial for beginners.
Added new stages. (13 main, 5 sub)
We're aiming for 24 stages in total at full launch. Crazy!
The World Map: Now it looks nice and shiny with some fancy animation.


Added 54 New Minion/Spell cards!


Some spell/minion cards will have dummy images for now. They will be done soon!
*User idea cards: they also have dummy images for now so don't hate us yet when you see having the same image as other cards!

Speaking of cards! you can now have up to whopping 20 cards in your deck.



We tweaked the game system a little bit.


You now spend 20 Gold to draw card instead of 40 Gold.

Card Equipment System

aka the system that no one seems to be taking advantage of...=(
- As long as you have any AP left, you can equip a card.
- The cost for that card is reduced by the remaining AP you used to equip.


New Game Modes! (win conditions)


Duel: Defeat the enemy hero to win.
Annihilation: KIll the Enemy Hero and all his minions to win.
Rush: Roll around the board as many times as indicated to win.
Hunt: Kill the designated minion(s) to win.
Collect: Collect all the items scattered around the board to win.
Deliver: Get the designated item and race to the Starting Space.
Giant Boss: Defeat the boss who can grow to giant-size, to win.

*Don't forget to check the win condition on the top!


English Localization


It's still being reviewed, and you may notice some grammatical mistakes here and there and may even see some inappropriate expressions. It will be polished for sure before the full launch.

*Unforunately all your progression so far will be lost with this update. Sorry guys!
