Today we would like to tell you about one of the most iconic beasts in our game Dinos Reborn. You are looking at the Tyrannosaurus Rex - you can call it the king of all dinosaurs. Read carefully, as this knowledge may come in handy when you reach the island.
Recognition and uniqueness
One of the main challenges in designing the T-Rex was to keep it recognizable. A key element that sets it apart from other species is the pointed spikes on its skull, which give it a predatory appearance.
Meeting places
Tyrannosaurus can be found in many parts of the island, but it usually hunts in less wooded areas where its prey is less likely to find shelter. Its huge silhouette makes it easy to spot its prey. Other dinosaurs respect this giant carnivore and flee in terror at the sound of its approaching footsteps. When everything on the horizon suddenly goes black, you know danger is approaching.
Danger
The T-Rex is one of the fiercest dinosaurs on the island. Despite its enormous size, it is very fast and has excellent eyesight. Its powerful jaws are quick to destroy the lives of unwary adventurers. There is little chance of defeating the Tyrannosaurus in direct combat. To increase their chances, players must plan their encounters carefully.
Characteristic features
Of all the dinosaurs on the island, the Tyrannosaurus stands out not only for its size but also for its aggressive behavior. It is capable of pouncing on prey that has carelessly entered its hunting territory. Its thick hide makes it resistant to most of the weapons available to mercenaries on the island. If you opt for an ordinary assault rifle and aim for sensitive areas such as the head or abdomen, you have little chance of bringing this beast down. Large-caliber shotguns are a much better choice.
Remember, the T-Rex in Dinos Reborn is a dangerous opponent, but with the right preparation and weapons, you can stand up to it. We will soon be introducing you to other dinosaurs you will encounter on the island. Remember to add the game to your wishlist on Steam and visit us on Discord. See you there!
Today we have prepared some essential information to help you survive in this wild and dangerous world ruled by predatory dinosaurs. You need to learn the secrets of defending yourself against these beasts, so today we're going to give you a lesson on the weapons you'll encounter in Dinos Reborn.
Purchase of weapons
At the start of the game, you will only receive a Colt M1911 pistol, so we recommend that you approach your first expeditions with caution. To increase your chances of survival and improve your range, you must complete paid or weapon-rewarded missions or search various locations. When you return to the island, you can buy a new toy from the vendor, but remember that if you die while hunting, all your equipment will be lost.
Available range
Several well-known and respected military weapons will be available in the game. You will be able to choose from the:
machine guns,
sniper rifles,
shotguns,
pistols,
crossbows.
Models include classics such as the SCAR-L, Remington Model 700, and Winchester Model 1897, as well as a variety of traps and grenades to help you hunt dinosaurs and survive in the wild jungle.
Modifications
Weapons will have different modifications that will improve their performance and allow you to tailor the weapon to your liking or the mission at hand. The modifications will include
weapon sights,
weapon mounts,
torch,
laser sight,
suppressors,
variable capacity magazines,
gun barrels.
Preferences
Each weapon will allow you to fight any type of dinosaur, but its effectiveness will change drastically. For example, a modern sniper rifle will allow you to kill a larger dinosaur with a single accurate headshot. With the simpler Remington Model 700, killing larger dinosaurs will require several shots, which can be crucial to surviving a confrontation with a dangerous dinosaur.
We hope you have been taking notes because this knowledge will come in handy in this unpredictable world full of threats. Being well-prepared for a mission is the key to a successful hunt, so don't skimp on equipping yourself with the perfect mix of weapons. We'll be back soon with more information on Dinos Reborn, so be sure to add the game to your wishlist on Steam! Join our Discord and share your thoughts with other dinosaur hunters. See you there!
As the devlogs appear once a month, we want you to have a more detailed insight into the development process of our game Dinos Reborn. Today we want to tell you a little bit about what we are working on now and what we have planned for the near future.
The first dinosaurs
Have you ever wondered how the first dinosaurs were created? We don't know, but we can tell you how we create our beasts for the game. We are currently working on creating high-quality 3D models of our dinosaurs. We pay particular attention to detail and accuracy in depicting the appearance of each species, based on film and book sources. We then adapt the models to the requirements of computer games and optimize them for game engines.
Animations
After creating the low-poly medley, we move on to preparing the dinosaur's skeleton, which allows us to introduce realistic animations. When creating these, detail is extremely important, as well as readability for the players. We want it to be easy to read a dinosaur's intentions, such as whether it has spotted us, what attack it is preparing, or whether it is hostile.
The near future
In the near future, we will be focusing on improving and balancing the hunting system, which is a key element of our game. Among other things, you will be able to follow the tracks of dinosaurs or detect their lairs. We also want to spend a lot of time on the level design of the map to make it as interesting and engaging as possible and to give you a sense of excitement as you explore. We want the locations to intrigue you, and encourage you to explore and discover all the secrets of the island.
As you can see, we have a lot going on here. Work is in progress and we are doing our best to bring you as much good entertainment as possible! Join our Discord and add Dinos Reborn to your Wishlist on Steam! Hope to hear from you soon, in the next devlog!
Welcome back to another Dinos Reborn devlog. Today we're going to tell you a bit about the main character and the factions you'll meet during your adventure in a dangerous world overrun by dinosaurs. You're probably curious about what you'll find on this wild and dangerous island, so let's get started!
Character creator
At the start of the game, you will have the opportunity to customise your character and give it a unique look. With the help of a special wizard, you will be able to choose from a variety of head, shirt, trouser and backpack presets.
Stats
To survive, remember that dinosaurs aren't the only threat to your health. Watch out for steep climbs and keep an eye on your stamina, as you can't afford to be short on it when it comes to escaping. Staying hydrated and satisfying your hunger is just as important, so remember to take food with you, and just in case, look for something edible on the island - it might not turn out to be poisonous.
Organisation
In the game, we take on the role of a mercenary working for an organisation that was working to recreate dinosaurs from their biological DNA found on one of the islands. Unfortunately, after losing control, it was up to the mercenaries to help eradicate the remaining dinosaurs and recover important documents that should not see the light of day. The organisation is divided into three branches that focus on fighting dangerous dinosaurs, studying flora and fauna, and creating medicines from the blood of wild units.
We are excited to share new information about our game with you. Stay tuned for the next devlog and get ready for unforgettable adventures in a world full of dinosaurs. Remember to add Dinos Reborn to your wishlist on Steam to stay up to date and join our Discord!
We apologize for our lack of communication with you! Our absence is because we are working hard on our production all the time. The project is alive and well, our concept has changed, but we will inform you about it soon.
We are committed to making Dinos Reborn not just another game about dinosaurs, but a unique and prosperous world, the exploration of which will enable you to experience memorable adventures!
The survival instinct
Dinosaurs may not have been very intelligent, but they had their own natural and unique call that guided them. Implementing artificial intelligence for such creatures is quite a challenge.
Uniqueness
We strive to make each reptile unique. We want them to have behaviors and habits that correspond only to their species. This will make battles with them even more interesting!
See You!
We still have a lot of work ahead of us to make the game meet our and yours expectations! We will try to give you more information soon. We are preparing some surprises for you, so stay tuned!
Greetings, Team Dinos Reborn
Devlog #11 Bow and arrow
In survival games, you mostly need to hide from the enemy but what will you do if you can't hide?
In Dinos Reborn danger can come from the ground, water, and... air!
You can't hide from the flying dinosaurs.
The only way for defense is to attack. Craft bow and some arrows, then train a lot. Remember those beasts are smart.
You need a lot of power, precision, and angle - the sun can be your enemy here.
Stay safe, and be smart. Live to see another day.

Space Castaway Journal #1
Greetings Hunters! Communications takeover. New data upload from an unknown source. Video message attached. [previewyoutube="qC-U6fW00dg;full"]
The sun's evening rays were already shining through the treetops as the last stake landed in the hole. First sounds of nocturnal creatures awakening to life came from the nearby trees. Job done - just in time.
Ancient Romans would most definitely have a word with me on the art of camp building, but it was at least something, it was mine, it was safe... or at least this is what I hoped. Reaching back a few weeks of sleepless nights and constant run primitive construction felt like a true castle, and it was in the perfect spot. Close to water and seemingly far from giant creatures who terrorized lands closer to mountains. Who knows, maybe I should start some crops here?
The capsule is impenetrable for claws and teeth, but the terrain around is mostly ashes of everything unlucky enough to stand in the way of a space-falling hi-tech rescue pod. Nothing will live there for the foreseeable future. Guess there is a nice middle-point now with my glorious fortress.
I put the tools back in their place. At least in that matter, no legionary officer would grumble.
Darkness enveloped the wooden structure, casting long shadows, so pleasant in the cursed heat of this planet. My stomach has started growling. It was still quite early and I should easily gather more supplies before dusk. Maybe today I will be able to cook supper without uninvited guests?
The weapons workbench was on the opposite side of the camp, so I took my trusty spear and headed in that direction. The odd feeling of something being not right struck my mind.
An unpleasant feeling passed through my body as chills and cold passed me from head to toe, and my senses become more alert. The air became cooler, and the sounds muffled simultaneously, and I focused on those coming from my immediate surroundings.
Living in the wilderness quickly restored my hidden, dulled by civilization instincts, and before I even pinpointed the threat, I knew it existed.
Understanding struck me with the force of a galloping Carnotaurus. Soft murmurs reached my ears, and I turned swiftly toward the threat, aware of what I would see.
The gates were open, and I was a blasted bonehead who left it this way...

Devlog #10 Day, Night and a new Dinosaur
That was one busy month, Hunters.
But we are more than happy with the stuff we have managed to prepare! Let's start with a contest.
Do You know this Dinosaur? The first person who will give us the correct answer will receive a special role on our Discord Server! https://discord.gg/xbx59qEuFd
Today we want to share some primal beach areas day and night in different auras. The goal is to look at brave hunters who run for their money in search of shelter. We aim for the night to be brutal.
You are spending the night in the primal woods of Jurassic forest, and one should feel it through every bone.
Meanwhile, how about a bit of a walk on the beach? [previewyoutube="WH0hTNFOy-w;full"]
Or stroll through the storm and darkness. [previewyoutube="Pb4yyd903bM;full"]
and than bump into this sneaky "little" one lurking around
Sadly we have noticed some compression effect during the night while uploaded on Youtube. We will look into ways to overcome it.
To spice up our nighttime voyages, we are implementing plant movements and sounds. It will help to spot moving dinosaurs, so keep your eyes keen.
And the night is to overcome with the genius of human hands like a torch or fully functional survival suit witch can be upgradeable with a flashlight later in the game.
We also continue making locations. The Beach area is our level design benchmark so far.
OK - we are going back to make more awesome stuff for You. Stay tuned for more news, and meanwhile...
