WHY: Because these two have been claiming their jammer superiority for YEARS! Time to settle things once and for all.
Only one of these guys will win but the REAL winners are the players, because everyone who plays Disc Jam this weekend will automatically get all the custom content from this tournament! That's 2 discs, 2 emblems, 2 tags, and 2 new skins for each character!
Have fun!
ZLAN Tournament Update
Hey everyone!
We've got a few fixes and balance tweaks going live today alongside some special content to celebrate the massive ZLAN tournament taking place this weekend.
Patch notes below!
<*>NEW:: Added new content for the upcoming Z LAN tournament. Sign in May 11-12 to permanently unlock the Z LAN disc, tag, and emblems!
<*>TWEAKED:: Added a tiny bit of time to everyone's lobs except Kahuna's and Gator's.
<*>TWEAKED:: Made Kahuna's lob slightly more effective.
<*>TWEAKED:: Adjusted Kahuna's slide so he can early out a bit quicker.
<*>TWEAKED:: Increased Kahuna's acceleration slightly so he can get to his top run speed faster.
<*>TWEAKED:: Slowed Gator's lob so he is no longer the 3rd best lobber which was disproportionately strong given his other talents.
<*>TWEAKED:: Decreased Gator's recovery time slightly. It is still the fastest but more in line with the other characters.
<*>TWEAKED:: Adjusted Haruka's slide so she can early out a bit quicker.
<*>FIXED:: Catching the disc while getting up from a slide no longer gives you additional time to throw with perfect timing.
<*>FIXED:: Haruka's fireball taunt now works correctly in-game.

Steam Free Weekend!
Welcome to the new players trying out Disc Jam! Be sure to check out the in-game tutorial if you're new to the game. We have an active discord if you want to chat with the devs.
Season 2 Starts on Monday so this is a great time to ramp up that SR before season rewards go out!
Have fun :)
Disc Dodger mode is now active!
Our new experimental game mode, Disc Dodger, is now live!
Disc Dodger is a 2v2 mode where the last team standing wins. If a disc is coming at you with a trail, dodge it! Once it rebounds off the back wall of the end zone, the trail is removed and the disc can be recovered for a rebuttal. May the best team win!
As always, please join us on Reddit at /r/DiscJam or join our Discord at discord.gg/DiscJam to read the latest patch notes and chat with us!
Patch 1.21 Hotfix
Hey all,
We've just launched a quick patch to fix some issues discovered in the last major update:
TWEAKED: Lowered the volume of the wall impact sound on Penthouse.
FIXED: Servers no longer crash when a player quits during an instant replay. This resolves issues that could cause players to receive a loss after a match ends even if they just won.
FIXED: Points on the scoreboard once again display correctly but are capped at 200. This cap will be raised in a future patch.
FIXED: Added a speculative fix for issues observed on high refresh-rate monitors.
FIXED: Throw indicator once again displays when playing matches online.
Sincerely,
Jim Jam
Penthouse Update Goes Live!
Greetings all!
It has been far too long since our last update but we have just launched the new map alongside a bunch of new content! Once the patch is live across all platforms, we will begin Season 2 and activate the playlist for the new mode: Disc Dodger!
Please see below for patch notes:
NEW: Added a tiled arena -- The Penthouse.
NEW: Added a game mode -- Disc Dodger (more info on this to follow!)
NEW: 156 NEW content items:
13 discs
36 skins
15 taunts
18 victory poses
18 emblems
56 tags
NEW: Match settings can now be customized in private, LAN, and splitscreen matches.
NEW: Added Cinematic Instant Replays for epic rallies.
NEW: Added Player Highlight Vignette following Instant Replays.
NEW: Server region and instance ID can now be viewed on the in-game scoreboard menu.
TWEAKED: Normalized throw timing between forehand and backhand animations.
TWEAKED: Added 100ms across the board to all super throw timers.
TWEAKED: Quick curves are now capped as to how wide they can go.
TWEAKED: Throw timer now continues to tick down after the disc is caught while sliding. Getting up from a slide and throwing with perfect timing will still result in throwing the disc with a blue trail.
TWEAKED: Deflecting a disc at the net with a fully charged shield now performs a stuff block instead of charging a super throw.
FIXED: The indicator at a player's feet will no longer erroneously display purple even though the disc is thrown with a blue trail.
FIXED: Player names are now displayed correctly on all viewports while playing splitscreen.
FIXED: Adjust Lannie's animations that were keeping her in her throw stance for too long.
FIXED: Updated Haruka cloth simulation to address interpenetration issues.
FIXED: Reporting an opponent using a secondary controller no longer causes loss of player control after the menu closes.
