Lawless Lands recently got a huge expansion called Unrest which features an all new storyline, land to explore, enemies, equipment, quests, characters, and more!
This is a quick balancing patch for hardcore mode. When I made it hardcore - I REALLY made it hardcore. To the point of almost being a little ridiculous.
This aims to at least balance it a bit. It slightly lessens the severity of some of the bonuses to enemies when playing on hardcore mode and removes a few of the extra buffs that weren't necessary to begin with.
The changes here should hopefully make the Disgraced Hardcore achievement easier to obtain as well. Achievement hunters don't have to struggle so hard anymore.
Update 1.5.4 Change Log:
Changes & Additions: -Hardcore mode no longer gives enemies a boost to accuracy -Hardcore mode enemy stat bonuses have been balanced to be more accessible (health and morale got +5% each but raw damage and raw armor got -5%) -Hardcore mode no longer gives enemies a boost to critical chance -Hardcore mode no longer gives enemies a boost to counter attack chance -Hardcore mode no longer gives enemies a boost to counter other skills (morale based) chance
That's all for now!
Enjoy!

Lawless Lands Unrest Expansion Now Available!
Corrosive Supporters,
Hey everyone!
I'm posting this here so that everybody who plays our games has a chance to see it in case they're interested.
The wait is over! Lawless Lands Unrest is now available! It's been a long time in development, but the expansion is finally finished!
There were a bunch of patches released yesterday during testing, so it should be all set for everyone to enjoy, but as always, if you have any issues just let me know. The main game also received a patch for a typo that was found while testing the expansion.
"The Devil's Harvest, 347... It began as only harrowing rumors from abroad, but a foul blight has come and infected most of the crops throughout the Sagerovian countryside. Following its arrival, a plague struck down nearly everyone in its path, leaving the survivors to clean up the mess of their fallen society... With the armies off, fighting in the war against Stothlheim, Sagerov is left scarcely defended and outlying settlements are helpless, and prime targets for callous invaders... An old and all-but-forgotten foe, hailing from the eastern steppes, the Horde has set its sights on the lonely farms and plague-weakened villages, leaving nothing but smoke, bodies, and ash, in their wake... Among those villages, Ravlova, resting in the Strastobol region, is a small and insignificant farming community, where people work from dawn till dusk, just to earn even a meager living. Two in particular are a husband and wife, Kolyask and Ridina, who're local farmers with a family, but they're also part of their village's militia. Charged with protecting their land and their neighbors, they are the last line of defense... This is their story..."
New Storyline - Play as Kolyask or Ridina in their quest to protect their homeland and their family from vicious invaders in a large, several hour long campaign!
New Side Quests - Over 30 new side stories and side objectives, all relevant to the evolving game world and storyline!
New Characters - Two new main characters to choose from, various new side characters, and even a handful of new companions and a Sagerovian hound!
New Skills - Learn some new skills and abilities to give you an edge against your foes!
New Equipment - Many new items and equipment like firebombs, armor such as brigandine and lamellar, and weapons to try out!
New Schematics - Demonstrate your ingenuity by creating your own equipment with new schematics and recipes!
New Artwork - New character sprite graphics, portraits, environmental art, and more!
New Map - Explore the Strastobol Region, set in the borderlands of Sagerov!
New Enemies - Fight against fierce new enemies and a new faction known as The Horde!
Enjoy!

5/6/21 Update 1.5.1
Disgraced,
Hey everyone,
This is one more quick update with one bonus (free) campaign modifier for the Hands of Fate Expansion and a minor QOL improvement.
Update 1.5.1 Change Log:
Changes & Additions: -Added "Fanaticism" Campaign Modifier (All characters and enemies gain a bonus 9% morale regeneration in combat) -Removed Beginning Combat Popups for several states (that caused a lot of spam on screen when combat began - an example is tempered weapons for enemies, every enemy would get a popup over them when combat first started and it was obnoxious) -Rearranged some settings in the Hands of Fate Expansion so it is easier to process (No longer a slight delay between picking modifiers)
The Hands of Fate Expansion for Disgraced adds an extra system for replayability and for creating unique playthroughs and challenges. The system will randomly select up to 4 of 10 possible world modifiers that each have a unique effect on gameplay and the game world. These may be rerolled up to 5 times so you can choose which ones you want to play with. It can either be activated by starting a new game, or by simply accessing your supply cache in your headquarters.
To the Death: All vitality damage in battle can be up to 2 points higher. Suppression: The Shogun will retaliate faster than usual, but you'll begin with extra influence. Veterancy: Start at rank 2, but enemies may also start 1 rank higher. Brutality: All criticals count for 3x damage instead of the standard 2x damage. Lone Wolf: Your maximum company size is reduced by 1, but your character gains a boost to each virtue. Spoils of War: Start off with an extra 30 ryo, but the enemies are better equipped. Ronin: You gain experience 10% faster, but enemy samurai will have 10% more vitality. Wild Weather: The weather will shift more often and it will be more stormy. Fate's Favor: No effects good or bad. You lucked out. Rabid Wolves: Wolves deal more damage and have a higher critical chance, but less vitality and morale.
*For those of you who have played our fourth game, Lawless Lands, this is essentially an expansion to add the same type of Campaign Modifier system from that Lawless Lands had.*
PLEASE NOTE: IN ORDER TO ACTIVATE THIS PACK, YOU MUST ACCESS THE SUPPLY CACHE IN YOUR HEAD QUARTERS IN KIBO OR BEGIN A NEW GAME. YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO START A NEW GAME, BUT THIS WILL ACTIVATE AUTOMATICALLY WHENEVER YOU DO - DURING CHARACTER CREATION!
