5/4/21 Update 1.4.9 / Hands of Fate Expansion Announcement!
Hey everyone!
This is a quick update with a few QOL improvements and to make way for the new Hands of Fate Expansion!
First, let's look at the change log.
Update 1.4.9 Change Log:
Changes & Additions:
-Reserve Companions now earn 20% Exp instead of just 10%
-Added 9 World Modifiers for the new Expansion
-Added handlers for the new Expansion
-Tomes can now be used on anyone in the Company
-Slightly brightened the UI
-Capturing a city will add 7 points towards retaliation from the Shogun instead of just 5
Now, onto the expansion:
"Hands of Fate Expansion DLC:
The Hands of Fate Expansion for Disgraced adds an extra system for replayability and for creating unique playthroughs and challenges. The system will randomly select up to 4 of 9 possible world modifiers that each have a unique effect on gameplay and the game world. These may be rerolled up to 5 times so you can choose which ones you want to play with. It can either be activated by starting a new game, or by simply accessing your supply cache in your headquarters.
- To the Death: All vitality damage in battle can be up to 2 points higher.
- Suppression: The Shogun will retaliate faster than usual, but you'll begin with extra influence.
- Veterancy: Start at rank 2, but enemies may also start 1 rank higher.
- Brutality: All criticals count for 3x damage instead of the standard 2x damage.
- Lone Wolf: Your maximum company size is reduced by 1, but your character gains a boost to each virtue.
- Spoils of War: Start off with an extra 30 ryo, but the enemies are better equipped.
- Ronin: You gain experience 10% faster, but enemy samurai will have 10% more vitality.
- Wild Weather: The weather will shift more often and it will be more stormy.
- Fate's Favor: No effects good or bad. You lucked out.
*For those of you who have played our fourth game, Lawless Lands, this is essentially an expansion to add the same type of Campaign Modifier system from that Lawless Lands had.*
PLEASE NOTE: IN ORDER TO ACTIVATE THIS PACK, YOU MUST ACCESS THE SUPPLY CACHE IN YOUR HEAD QUARTERS IN KIBO [U]OR[/U] BEGIN A NEW GAME. YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO START A NEW GAME, BUT THIS WILL ACTIVATE AUTOMATICALLY WHENEVER YOU DO - DURING CHARACTER CREATION!"
The expansion will be live within the next few days for $2.99 or your local equivalent!

4/8/21 QOL Update 1.4.6
Hey everyone!
This is a quick quality of life update for my players. I have heard in the past that there was a lot of difficulty with two quests in particular which required candles and practice swords. I never realized just how tough it was to find those, so this well help. I also made a few other minor changes.
Check out the changes below!
Update 1.4.6. Change Log:
Changes & Additions:
-Added a bit of decoration to the World Map
-Slightly (literally 1%) increased Rate of Random Encounters on World Map
-Slightly Brightened the Interface (about 3% brighter)
-The Alchemist in the Player Base now sells candles
-The Blacksmith in the Player Base now sells practice swords at weapon upgrade levels 2 and 3
-Slightly increased the Loot Drop Tables to be a bit more rewarding (about 3%)
