The magic of Disney Parks is in full swing in the Valley with the “A Day at Disney” Star Path, and, starting today, we are kicking off the Dreamlight Parks Fest event and Community Challenge!
Disney Parks-inspired rewards and more!
From May 15th to June 5th, Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Dreamlight Parks Fest introduces new activities that award you with exclusive event recipes and furniture – themed after Disney Parks – like collectible Popcorn Buckets!
To kickstart adding these items to your collection, you’ll need to scour your Village for a variety of Buttons:
Red Buttons: Found around or inside Villager houses.
Blue Buttons: Found randomly while fishing at white fishing spots on Dazzle Beach and in Peaceful Meadow ponds.
Green Buttons: Rewarded through daily and weekly event quests.
Flower Buttons: Found around the Plaza and Peaceful Meadow.
Purple Buttons: Crafted with other Buttons.
Once you’ve collected enough Buttons, use them and other materials to craft new Popcorn Buckets. Additional Disney Parks-inspired furniture awaits you at your Crafting Table, so be sure to collect other crafting materials in your quest for Buttons!
Daily and Weekly Quests
Some of your Villagers are joining the fun with recurring daily and weekly quests! Be sure to check in with Scrooge McDuck, Ursula, WALL·E, Mickey Mouse, and Moana to see what new Cupcakes they are craving each day. Completing their requests will reward you with Green Buttons!
Take part in enough Dreamlight Parks Fest activities, and you could also unlock three new achievements, each rewarding a spectacular Disney Parks-inspired map.
Community Challenge
In addition to our in-game event, we’re issuing a challenge to all players to build their own parks – Dreamlight Parks! Rally with your fellow Valley Villagers to complete the following tasks:
Monument Masters: Share an in-game photo on social media featuring The Partners Statue furniture item.
Recycle Champions: Place Park Recycler items in-game. You can participate by placing multiple in your own Village!
Collection Curators: Place Ice Cream Stands and/or Bretzel Stands from the “A Day at Disney” Star Path.
Pastry Chefs: Cook new Dreamlight Parks Fest Cupcake recipes.
Attraction Enthusiasts: This one’s easy – interact with and ride an Attraction in-game!
Rewards will be unlocked for everyone once a task’s requirement is met by the combined efforts of all players. See below for more information on what actions or items are eligible for each task! Thrills and Frills Await You in Our Latest Free Update!
Dazzle with Daisy!
Mickey Mouse has news to share – he’s received a letter from Daisy Duck and she plans to return to the Valley after her own investigation into the source of the Forgetting! Once she’s settled into a fabulous new home, you’ve got a big task ahead of you – helping Donald Duck, reconnect with her! Will you be able to reunite these two love birds after so much time apart?
Equal parts fashionista, entrepreneur, and advice columnist, Daisy fills the Valley with her vibrant personality and new quests, friendship items, and a unique new building – the Boutique!
Share Your creativity With Friends at the Boutique!
After watering and nurturing the Boutique to its intended size (… don’t worry, Daisy will explain), you’ll unlock a dazzling new building packed with new features!
Spread throughout the Boutique, you’ll find mannequins and furniture displays ready for you to display your own custom designs! Interacting with a furniture display will open your furniture Touch of Magic collection, from which you can choose an item you’d like to display. Do take note, some larger items may take up two display spots. Similarly, mannequin displays can be interacted with to display your tailor-made Touch of Magic designs.
Highly requested by our community, these displays give you the ability to share these designs with friends during Valley Visits*†ǂ. While participating in a Valley Visit, visitors can interact with displays to save your Touch of Magic designs to their own collection save slots.
What’s even more exciting is that after visiting a friend’s Valley, you can easily check back in on their Boutique in the future without needing to be on a Valley Visit with that friend! There’s a handy panel located in your Boutique that logs each friend’s Boutique after you finish a Valley Visit. So long as you’re connected to online services, you can revisit a copy of their Boutique by yourself. While this will not allow you access to the rest of their Valley, this copy of their Boutique will stay up-to-date with any changes they make to their curated collection, so it’s a great way to keep up to date on your friends’ style journeys!
In addition to these chic displays, the Boutique is also home to a new way to challenge yourself each day. Flex your creative muscles as you help Daisy decorate a corner of the Boutique, complete with trendy mannequins, to show off your personal style and collection! Be sure to check in with her every day for renewed inspiration to draw upon. As you take on these challenges and help Daisy keep the Boutique looking fresh and exciting, you’ll be able to unlock new Touch of Magic clothing and furniture bases, as well as exclusive items!
* Multiplayer requires an internet connection. † While Disney Dreamlight Valley supports cross-play between Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Mac, PC, and Apple Arcade platforms, PlayStation users can only engage in multiplayer with other PlayStation users. ǂ Touch of Magic designs from other players' Valleys will not be visible to Disney Dreamlight Valley Arcade Edition players.
Build Your Own Dreamlight Park!
The magic of Disney Parks returns in our new “A Day at Disney” Star Path! With items inspired by Mickey’s Toontown and Toy Story Land, you can put a spin on your Valley by building your own ‘Dreamlight Park’ with attractions such as Alien Swirling Saucers, Magic Carpets of Aladdin, and more. Daisy and Minnie also delight in new unlockable Dream Styles, drawing inspiration from the Storybook Circus at Walt Disney World Resort’s Magic Kingdom.
Keep an eye on the Premium Shop for even more magic, with Disney Parks-inspired clothing and furniture, such as a Jungle Cruise Boat Bundle! Fan favorites from last year’s Disney Parks Star Path will also make appearances in the Premium Shop, including the Pixar Pal-A-Round attraction. Plus, keep an eye out for some surprising Disney and Pixar-inspired additions arriving in weekly rotations, such as an accident-prone rooster animal companion and a House Style that defies gravity.
Make sure to tune into our official social media as well for upcoming news on a brand new in-game event and don’t forget to claim your Partners Statue from your mailbox to kick off your Dreamlight Park!
Check Your Mailbox… and Other Community-Driven Features!
With every free update, we are committed to improving the Valley based on feedback from our magical Community! Here’s just some of the features that we prioritized in this Update due to support from fans:
Camera Mode Changes: As part of “The Laugh Floor” Update, we implemented some changes to the Furniture Mode camera that sought to increase performance stability. However, we saw that many fans missed the old camera functionality, so we’ve reverted this change – all while maintaining the stability upgrades!
The Premium Shop has received some upgrades!
Based off feedback on weekly rotation sizes, expect 8 items / bundles each week moving forward.
Speaking of “rotations”, we’ve upgraded the interface of the Premium Shop to show more detailed, revolving displays of items and furniture so you can better see how they fit into your Valley.
During a Valley Visit, all participants can now utilize their Royal Tools, including the camera!
Don’t forget to check your mailbox from time to time! Your Valley Villagers will now send you occasional mail… and gifts!

The Story Continues in Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time!
The Valley isn’t the only place getting a wave of new content – it’s time we turned our attention to Eternity Isle. Whether you’re an avid Scramblecoin player or charting a course for this mysterious island for the first time, let’s bring you up to speed.
The Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time expansion pass broadens the Valley’s horizons with a whole new adventure in a mysterious land lost to time. Forge friendships with new Villagers, unlock the secrets of a new Royal Tool, and kick back in three massive new biomes! This expansive adventure unfolds over the course of three acts – three distinct updates released over the course of a year – all of which are included with the purchase of the expansion pass.
The Spark of Imagination
Today marks the release of Act II of the expansion pass – “The Spark of Imagination”! Picking up where the first act left off after the “Your Eternal Reward” quest, discover even more secrets around Ancient’s Landing as you seek the titular Spark of Imagination. Hidden among this biome’s awe-inspiring ancient structures is a secret temple that houses this mystical artifact, initiating a race against time and a familiar foil: Jafar!
You’ll need all the help you can get from your friends – EVE from Disney and Pixar’s WALL•E, Gaston from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, and Rapunzel from Disney’s Tangled – if you hope to tackle the tantalizing puzzles within. Of course, with the stakes of this adventure getting higher, what better way to get a leg up on the competition than with a new friend!
Are You Feeling Lucky?
To unlock the secrets of the Spark of Imagination you’ll need to think outside the box, so it’s your lucky day that Oswald – one of Walt Disney’s first creations – makes his grand debut! Help this mischievous new friend quite literally break down communication barriers and lean into his patented string of good luck as you close in on Jafar’s schemes.
In addition to playing a key role in Act II of the A Rift in Time storyline Oswald also brings his zest for life to the Valley with an unforgettable series of Friendship Quests. Drawing inspiration from his monochromatic origins, get ready for homages to the silent film era, from anthropomorphized alarm clocks, to quite literally calling a 1920’s cinema home.
Plus, if you’re looking for a break from brilliant technicolor, “The Spark of Imagination” has you covered with a wealth of new items that lean into this iconic era and monochromatic aesthetic. Whether you crave the bold silhouette of the Oswaldian Zoot Suit or are looking to make friends with a monochromatic version of Eternity Isle’s animal companions, you’re bound to make a mark on the Valley!
Upgrades and New Crafting Opportunities Galore!
As you dig into Act II of the expansion pass, you’ll also receive a big upgrade to the Royal Hourglass! We’ve increased the max level of this tool to 4, unlocking new furniture to craft and a new way to use the Time Bending Station. To start, we've added new Ancient Parts and Fragments to hunt down and collect. Making use of these materials, you’ll find new furniture items to craft at the Time Bending Station that bring iconic Disney and Pixar stories to life, from Disney and Pixar’s Ratatouille’s Metro Entrance to King Triton's Throne from Disney’s The Little Mermaid! Upgrading your Royal Hourglass also unlocks the Time Bending Station’s Dismantle and Upcycle feature. If you have excess Ancient Parts, Fragments, Gifts, or Ancient Cores, dismantling them earns you special new currencies – one for each of these four item types – that can be upcycled to craft other items from that same category. We hope this helps put those unused resources to good use, giving them renewed utility!
Step Up Your Scramblecoin Game
Finally, get ready to uncover some tricky new strategies in Scramblecoin, with an assortment of new figures to unlock.
If you prefer a support-minded playstyle, Mike Wazowski from Disney and Pixar’s Monsters, Inc. helps buff nearby allies by increasing the number of coins they collect. Then there’s Oswald. His unique risk vs. reward mechanic allows you to move four times, so long as each move lands him on a coin. If he can’t collect a coin on one of those moves, then his sprint is over for the turn.
We can’t wait for you to uncover the other new Scramblecoin figurines and show us your bold new strategies!

Disney Dreamlight Valley’s first Update of 2024, “The Laugh Floor,” is now LIVE on all platforms! Brush your fur, practice your punch lines, and channel your inner jokester to welcome an EYEconic and unFURgettable duo.
Who knew that funny business was so much work?
Kick off this update content by heading over to the Dream Castle where a new Realm Door awaits! In the past, you’ve visited a Parisian kitchen, an Arendellian forest, and now you’re headed… to work? You’ll be clocking in on The Laugh Floor – but before you can begin your shift, you’ll need to look the part. Create your own monstrous disguise (don’t worry, a standard issue Monsters, Inc. Hard Hat is included), snap a picture for your security ID, and meet your new coworkers.
It seems like the Laugh Power launch party left quite a mess – a PERFECT job for the Laugh Floor’s newest intern - but with a little bit of Dreamlight and a lot of elbow grease, you could become Employee of the Month! Through a brand new series of quests, you’ll help out Mike Wazowski and Sulley with a variety of laugh-related tasks – ending up with two new friends for you to invite to Dreamlight Valley. But the laughs don’t stop there – each Villager arrives with their own friendship questlines and rewards – you’ll just have to break it to them that you might be human first.
Check your mailbox…
As teased and unlocked by fans as rewards for our Community Challenge in 2022, two special surprises await you in your in-game mailbox! All players will find a Dreamlight Armor costume as well as a Partners Statue inspired by the iconic statue of the same name found in some Disney Parks around the world. We’re thrilled to deliver these long-awaited items to all players and see them become a part of your Valleys.
Live Monstrously in the Valley
Mike and Sulley aren’t the only monstrous characters arriving in the Valley in this Update! With new cosmetic options added to the player customization menu, players can create their own monstrous Avatars with a variety of fantasy skin tones, patterns, contact lenses and even fantasy ear shapes, found in the earring menu.
Scrooge McDuck’s Shop gets an upgrade!
Scrooge McDuck’s store is getting a major upgrade – and surprising absolutely everyone that it won’t cost you a single Star Coin! Once the store is upgraded to its maximum level (or if it’s already at maximum level) you can now expect a much larger upper level, with a variety of pedestals and areas to buy different furniture types.
In addition to multiple areas dedicated to wall furnishings, rugs and more, there will be increased chances to purchase items that you are missing from your collection.
Fall in love with the “Lovely Monsters” Star Path
Add to your already monstrous new look with exciting cosmetics such as makeup and wig options – or kick it old school with Disney and Pixar’s Monsters University-inspired Dream Styles for your new pals, Mike and Sulley.
You can also decorate for the perfect Valley Visit with your Schmoopsie Poo with Swan Boats and Chocolate Fountains – or bring some Grecian inspiration to your Valley with Disney’s Hercules themed outdoor furniture!
Comfy never looked so good.
Pick up the new Starlight House Bundle in the Premium Shop to add the ultimate cozy collection of accessories to your Valley! Featuring a variety of slumber-party essentials for your avatar and a new Dream Style for Belle, you can decorate your in-game homes with new furniture items, including a Starry Sky Projector that brings the stars indoors for the perfect night in or select the new Provincial Library House Dream Style. As this new type of bundle does not include any quest content, all items can be found in your collection once purchased!
The Premium Shop also gets new items in our latest update with Monsters, Inc. collection must-haves such as a Boo Onesie, a Dreamlight Valley version of the Disney Parks attraction Monsters, Inc. Mike and Sulley to the Rescue!, and much more!
Players will also discover fan favorites from past Star Paths making their way to the Premium Shop this season! Expect to see rewards from our previous Pixar Fest and Centennial Star Paths appear in weekly shop rotations this season.

Delights Abound in The Pumpkin King Returns Update!
Hey Valley Villagers!
We’re excited to celebrate Disney Dreamlight Valley leaving Early Access with a jam-packed new update, full of content and features that have been heavily requested by you, our amazing community!
This blog will break down the content available today for all owners of Disney Dreamlight Valley. If you’re looking for more information about the expansion pass – Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time – also launching today, check out our recent blog here!
Welcome Jack Skellington!
You’ve seen Realm Doors. You’ve seen secret doors. But have you ever seen a… tree door?
A mysterious tree has appeared in the Valley with a strange knocking sound emanating from inside. We won’t spoil the fun of what happens next, but all roads lead to The Master of Fright, Jack Skellington, arriving in Disney Dreamlight Valley!
Highly requested by our community and first revealed in the recent Disney Dreamlight Valley Showcase, this familiar face from Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas arrives just in time to spread some holiday magic of his own in your Valley. Introduce him to your other Villagers (we’re pretty sure he’d love Fairy Godmother’s house) and get ready for some holiday hijinks!
Royal Winter Star Path
We just snow you’re going to love this one.
Celebrate the wonder of winter with our latest Star Path! You’ll find plenty of reasons to bundle up and head outside as you complete seasonal duties, from building your own snowman family, to catching an Arendellian delicacy. Each of these will earn you Royal Winter Tokens.
Redeem these tokens to claim a delightful bounty of rewards that will have you shivering with glee! From a Snowman Racoon animal companion to fawn-tastic cosmetics, there’s bound to be something to get anyone into a festive mood!
You can also expect new additions to the in-game Premium Shop to further complement your frosty new décor!
The Valley is More Fun with Friends
Say hello to the newest way to play Disney Dreamlight Valley!
After helping you unlock the DreamSnaps feature, it seems like Vanellope has spent her free time adventuring across the Valley and has made an exciting discovery! Join her on a quest once again to find yourself the proud owner of a Valley Visit Station! You’ll be able to interact with it to enable visits to your Valley and visit other players’ Valleys*†!
To open your Valley for visits, interact with the Station to open a connection. You will receive a unique code that you can share with your friends. From there, they simply need to input this code on the Start Menu to complete the connection. Once done, you can close the connection from the same terminal. Up to 3 friends can visit your Valley at a time.
If you would like to visit a friend’s Valley, simply input their uniquely generated code from the Start Menu.
While participating in multiplayer, all players can pick up items dropped in the Valley‡, enter player homes and Scrooge McDuck’s Store, and change their outfits and accessories. Speaking of Scrooge’s Store, make sure to let your friends know what’s in stock in your Valley to help them complete their collections!
An additional incentive to use the multiplayer feature is a new resource called Pixel Shards! These crystalized clumps of “online energy” can only be found during a visit to your friend’s Valley and are used to craft two special new items:
Pixelized Cooking Flame: Power up your cooking with this buff or opt for the even more efficient Superior buff! When used, the next five (or twelve, if you opt for the Superior version) meals you cook will have their output doubled.
Glitchy Pixel Duplicate Pack: Simplify the crafting process with these special items! Depending on the size of pack you create, you will receive five or twelve “Glitchy Pixel Duplicates,” which can be used in place of required ingredients – sort of like a wild card – in many crafting recipes.

In particular, the team’s been busy behind the scenes fixing bugs and issues thanks to your detailed reports. * Multiplayer requires an internet connection. † While Disney Dreamlight Valley supports cross-play between Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Mac, PC, and Apple Arcade platforms, PlayStation users can only engage in multiplayer with other PlayStation users. ‡ Quest items, expansion items, pouches and unique items cannot be picked up by visiting players.
