It’s pretty wild to think that we’re almost halfway through the year already. From welcoming a bunch of familiar faces to the Valley and exploring The Lion King Realm, to celebrating Disney’s 100th Anniversary and our collective passion for Disney Parks, there’s already been a lot to love in Disney Dreamlight Valley this year. We really appreciate you joining us on this Early Access journey and can’t overstate the role this community has played in helping to shape where we are now.
Well, that was only the first half of the year and there’s a whole lot of 2023 left... Want your first peek at what’s coming just over the horizon? Today, we’re excited to share an updated roadmap of the content you can expect to arrive in the Valley over the next couple months.
Picking up after the release of The Remembering update in early June, we have two more updates to give you a sneak peek at, as well as your first hints at what the next chapter of Disney Dreamlight Valley will hold, coming later this year. Check it all out below:
Excited? So are we! To all of you who guessed that Vanellope von Schweetz was Valley-bound, you deserve a treat. Zooming ahead to our September update, she will be followed by the much-anticipated arrival of Belle, alongside a new realm to explore and immerse yourself in. Of course, there are other surprises to look forward to!
As you’ve likely come to expect from our updates, these new characters will be accompanied by a wealth of new content, features and improvements. We’re particularly excited about a certain brand-new feature that will come as part of our summer update. You’ve all gone to great lengths to share your creativity with us in the game, so we want to reward you for it! Look out for more on that very soon!
Of course, there are also Star Paths! Since launch, you’ve shared your most-wanted themes with us, and we think these are going to make a whole lot of you very happy. Not only will we be diving into The Wonder of Pixar to shine a spotlight on even more beloved Pixar films, but this Halloween season will provide ample opportunities to get in the holiday spirit and bring some darkness to the Valley.
Looking ahead to late 2023, as the mystery of The Forgetting and The Forgotten comes full circle in The Remembering, a new chapter will begin for Disney Dreamlight Valley. We aren’t sharing many details quite yet so we’ll leave you to speculate. Suffice to say, we have BIG plans for the game through the end of the year, into 2024, and beyond! Stay tuned in the coming weeks and months, as we continue to share more sneak peeks. There’s never been a better time to explore the Valley and we can’t wait to hear what you think about everything that lies on the horizon!

Take a look below to see when you’ll be able to earn each set of items:
Simply tune into one of our pre-selected content creators while they stream Disney Dreamlight Valley on Twitch during each of those two periods to earn the relevant bundle.

The Festival of Foolishness has begun once again in the Valley – but this time, on our Official Discord!
Long before the Forgetting, there was a festival dedicated to trickery and nonsense each Spring. As you’ve repelled the Forgetting, memories of the Festival of Foolishness returned to two particular Valley Villagers, Donald Duck and Stitch, and they can’t wait to take part in light-hearted pranks on their friends and neighbors.
But, as usual, they could do with a hero’s help. Through your choices in this interactive story, you’ll decide how the Festival plays out, and claim rewards through a variety of codes along the way.
Once you’re a member, visit the Festival of Foolishness Channel in the left-hand menu bar
This is a text-based adventure, available in English only. To interact and continue the story, simply click the dialogue/choice option provided via buttons on the Text prompt.
If you run into any redemption codes along the way, make sure to copy them down to claim later in-game through the Code Redemption menu. These codes will expire on July 10th, 2023.
After you’ve finished the story, you can start over. You may even end up with another ending (and other rewards!), depending on your choices!
This adventure will only be available from May 11th to June 9th, so make sure to take part in this limited-time event now!

Dreamlight Park Community Challenge
Hey Valley Villagers!
Disney Dreamlight Valley got even more magical last week with the launch of our fourth major content update – Pride of the Valley. A big portion of this magic surge is due to the inclusion of a brand-new Star Path – this time based around the Disney Parks!
Fans have already been quick to notice recreations of many iconic Disney Parks signature attractions and items – from the Alice in Wonderland-inspired Mad Tea Party attraction to the humble trash bins you can find in Disney theme parks worldwide.
To celebrate the magic of Disney Parks coming to Disney Dreamlight Valley, we’re issuing a challenge to all players to build their own theme parks, or, Dreamlight Parks! So what does a Dreamlight Park look like? Well, it will have to meet a few different criteria, inspired by features of Disney Parks:
Amusing: What’s a theme park without attractions? You’ll need to have at least 1 attraction placed to call your creation a Park!
Cleanest: With all the snacking that will be done in your Park, you’ll need to make sure that you’ve placed ample trash receptacles.
Greenest: Disney Parks are famous for their topiaries – your Dreamlight Park should feature at least a few leafy decorations.
Most Stylish: What’s a Disney Park without fabulous outfits? Make sure to unlock one of the two new Dream Styles for either Donald Duck or Goofy to count towards this goal.
Most Poppin’: This one’s easy – make sure you’ve got plenty of Parks balloons from the new Star Path!
Of course, a challenge isn’t a challenge without goals. As you work together with other Disney Dreamlight Valley players to build your Dreamlight Parks, rewards will be unlocked for every player once enough Valleys feature items that count towards each goal.
Once each achievement’s requirements are met, rewards will be sent to all player inboxes. Keep in mind that only eligible items will count towards each achievement, but you can participate by placing multiples of each item! For a head start on your Dreamlight Park and the Cleanest Park goal, claim a free Rusted Trashcan using code DREAMLIGHTPARK.
This challenge will be live from now until May 31st – we can’t wait to see how you design your Dreamlight Parks! Be sure to share images of them with us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter using the hashtags #DreamlightPark and #DisneyDreamlightValley for a chance to also win a 500USD ShopDisney gift card! Full contest details can be found here: https://gleam.io/eZH8W/disney-dreamlight-valley-dreamlight-park-sweepstakes
Lions, Aliens, and Eggs. What do all of these things have in common? You’ll find they play an important part in Disney Dreamlight Valley’s fourth major content update – Pride of the Valley!
Your pride grows a little larger
Your pride, or village family, is about to grow a bit bigger! As of today, a new realm door is available to unlock in the Dream Castle, this time magic-ing you away to The Lion King Realm. Inside you’ll help Simba and Nala from Disney’s The Lion King chase away hyenas, track down tasty insects, and learn more about the circle of life.
You’ll also find that a few other villagers are in need of some assistance around the Valley – make sure to keep an eye on your Quest log to see who you can help out!
Create your own theme park!
Celebrate the magic of the Disney Parks in your Valley with the new Disney Parks Star Path! This Star Path features items based off iconic park staples, like the Mad Tea Party attraction and Figment-shaped topiaries. Donald Duck and Goofy also get their first Dream Styles – dress them up via the Collections Menu in-game to add some extra Disney Parks Magic to your theme parks! Will you be able to find every Disney Parks reference we’ve hidden?
In addition to the new Star Path, both the Premium Shop and Scrooge McDuck Store have received stock updates! Make sure to check each regularly for new content.
Critter Comforts
Your favorite furry (+ scaley and feathery) friends have gotten an upgrade! Each animal companion now has its own unique selfie pose to capture special moments in the Valley together and new items that will allow you to display multiple animal companions at once. Check out your Crafting Station for new item recipes, and make sure to share your selfies with us via your social media!
Get ready for an egg-cellent adventure!
It isn’t a Spring update without…eggs? Keep an eye out from April 8th to April 29th for some seasonal treats! We’ve hatched some new items that you can claim as you egg-splore the Valley and complete seasonal Dream Duties. You can even assist WALL·E during this event to claim some new animal companion friends!
Community Driven Changes
With every update, we look to our Community for suggestions and feedback to inspire new content and features. Here are a few of the changes and additions you can expect in this update, brought to you by your feedback:
Improved Well Fed Buff: You can now hold a button to activate a sprint mode while under the Well Fed buff. Critical chances on resource pick up will also be higher the more your energy bar is filled!
Twitch Drops are here! Expect a variety of opportunities to claim new items this month by watching content creators play Disney Dreamlight Valley on Twitch. You can find more information HERE.
Sit back and relax: As of this update, sitting down on furniture will slowly refill your energy bar when you’re outside of your home.
Animal Companion upgrades: As mentioned above, we know you want to interact more with your animal companions! You’ll find new items to spawn your favorite pets along with a variety of interactive items they can play with in your Crafting Station.
Bug issues and resolutions
As always, this update brings with it a collection of fixes for a variety of issues and bugs (not the insects in The Lion King realm; those are there to stay) reported by the Disney Dreamlight Valley Community. We cannot thank everyone enough for taking the time to share their bug reports with us! As the game is still in Early Access, we will continue to do our best to address issues as they occur, and proactively prevent further bugs. For a full list of what has been included in this Update, please see HERE.
Should you run into any issues while playing Disney Dreamlight Valley, we first recommend that you check out our known issues HERE. If you don’t see the issue you’re running into, you can get in touch with our Support team via our contact form. Running into issues with a certain quest or objective? Check out our friendly Discord Community for some Disney Dreamlight Valley tips and tricks!
See you in the Valley!
