The latest update for Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition is now live!
If you've been looking for new ways to create Static Cloud Arrows, Explosive Arrows, or grant immunity to Madness we have you covered with new recipes in this update. It's easier to be Sir Lora's shield now that he's ignored by Shriekers and your battles will be easier to navigate thanks to notifications in combat being moved up. We've also addressed issues with the combat log.

The Official The Dark Eye GM campaign for Divinity: Original Sin 2’s Game Master Mode, Prison of Shadows, is now available for FREE.
Larian Studios has joined forces with Ulisses Spiele, creators of the hugely successful The Dark Eye tabletop RPG, to bring Divinity players into a new world of magic and mystery. Written and designed by Ulisses, with cooperation from Larian developers, the "Prison of Shadows" Game Master campaign is a brand new adventure suitable for The Dark Eye newcomers and veterans alike, designed for a Game Master and 2-4 players.
*Context* The year is 1040 after the Fall of Bosparan (1040 FB). After the desperate battle to save the Middenrealm city of Perricum from the Demon Master Borborad, a mysterious ship is washed ashore the Sea of Pearls, corrupting the air and the surrounding waters. The ensuing revelation will send players on a quest to visit a dark, forgotten dungeon at the heart of the mountains...
*How to get this campaign:* - The campaign is automatically added to the GM Campaigns folder located in \Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition. It will be present in two versions: English and German.
- The accompanying module guide, available here, contains all the information you need to play. Note that it should only be consulted by your Game Master since it unveils the full story - and therefore contains spoilers!
- If you wish to play by the official TDE rules, you can use the free TDE Quick-start Rules here.

Fixed issues with automatically unlocking the third Source Point under certain conditions. Unfortunately, this fix is not retroactive. Savegames that already have the third Source Point unlocked should be able to progress without issues, and the unlocked Source Point will not be removed by this fix.

We're releasing a hotfix following our larger patch from last week. Some issues slipped through our net and we would like to address these with today's hotfix.
Crashing while saving in multiplayer should now be fixed and we've disabled the overhead interface that was causing visibility issues of other information on the screen.

Hi Everyone,
With this larger patch we are fixing a number of issues reported by the community, but also adding support for HDR screens on the latest Windows 10 version. Sir Lora has also been found as a stowaway on the Lady Vengeance. He is now unlockable even after you arrive in Act Two.
We hope the road in Rivellon is slightly less bumpy thanks to this update. If you do still experience issues, please let us know!

Hi everyone,
First of all, thank you to everyone who has given feedback and notified us of any in-game issues.
Since the release of the Divinity Engine 2, we've noticed some problems with the editor that requires an update of both the game and our mod creation tool.
The update to the game fixes the following:
A crash related to launching and immediately joining a game
Issues with four active characters in arena combat
Issues with using waypoints and texture streaming
Adventures without Origin characters are now supported
Stability improvements for custom models and levels
The update to the editor - Divinity Engine 2 - has the following:
General stability improvements
Improved interactivity of interaction modes (e.g. terrain paint/flatten/etc.)
A tool to retroactively fix the source paths of imported custom resources and texture atlases
Fixes to the importing of several stat files from classic projects (this requires a new import)
Corrected double-clicking in game mode
No more offsets between interaction mode previews and your mouse location
The rotate gizmo doesn't clip behind objects anymore
Every level now has a functioning default dummy in the editor for testing
Corrected the icons in the Root Template Browser to match the item type
Quest properties now import over from classic projects (this requires a new import)
Show/Hide gizmo buttons now work as intended
Click+drag selection now properly highlights the selection box

We have sent out a hotfix for the following issues:
Added a Definitive Edition tag to GM campaigns published in the new version since they are not compatible with Classic Edition.

Fixed a crash related to changing equipment (when switching characters in character creation for example)
Fixed an issue with the meat golems in Fort Joy Castle. They now correctly attack their prison doors again
