    Release Notes/Coming updates:

      <*>The Leechers are now more fierce.
      <*>Since they are more fierce we reduced the number of the Leechers around the map (this number is not final and we hope to get the players input on this)
      <*>The current map is a base for all the mechanics in the game. An improved and detailed map is underway.
      <*>New and better animations are underworks
      <*>Currently we are using 1 single 3d model for the player, We will update the model after we finalize the animations and combat mechanics.
      <*>We are using Zombie 3d models to represent our Leechers, we will change them in the near future.

      GAME is LIVE on STEAM

      Hooray, Don’t Bleed is live. Okay, back to reality, we are deep in development even with the release today (or yesterday whenever you read this), be happy to know animations yes, animations will be getting an overhaul both FPS & TPS perspectives. More art content will be dropped into the game as well on the update coming next month. Take a look at the Art Page to see some of what I’m mentioning to you. We’ve been listening to those testers who have provided feedback.

      Game Release… What Does That Mean?

      So, we’ve heard from the community and there is great FEAR that we are doing a “Money Grab”. That is not the case… We want the community to support us with this game; the funds are specifically being used for game enhancements. We recognize that the game is not 100% complete however; the game is at a state where core functionality is solid. We are currently working on the art assets as well as honing the animations that you all have called out (by the way we will be adding “vaulting” to the game).

      Supporting us now allows you to full access of the updates and then the final version. When we are done the price will be subject to change… So far you all should see we are communicating, updating and staying on track with Don’t Bleed. We don’t plan on going anywhere; so like us, love us or hate us, we are here!!!

        Timers

        There are two timers on the island the “Random” and “Fifteen”. The random timer is at the beginning of the game, it allows you the time to gather resources and to get your thoughts and plan together. The issue is, it is a random time! Also if some one decides to go full out crazy and activates a beacon then it throws you into the Fifteen!

        The Fifteen-minute timer is the actually time for the game session. This is the amount of time allotted for you and all the other players to figure out where the evacuation point will be. So use your time wisely.

        Maps… (Internal Team Fight)

        So we added a map to the game, I felt that a map would make the game too easy, while others (by others I mean the other designers) disagreed. They stated the game was uber hard without a map and players would be lost and die before meeting any of the objects etc. So, we went back and forth for a few hours and I was voted off the island; Don’t Bleed has a map now. After numerous gameplay sessions I actually like it now, go figure the team has won me over again!

        I hate the fact the LEECHERS #NotZOMBIES can come inside; it has made the game more difficult. When I was playing prior builds of Don't Bleed the houses gave me a break from the action and an opportunity to get my thoughts together. Now its harder if I don't close the doors or if I go into a house that does't have any doors.

        BETA Key Selling

        Hello, DON’T DO IT! What is “IT” you ask? Don’t sell the beta key you received, you requested it, this will get the game key REVOKED and you will be permanently banned from DON’T BLEED! We will be checking!!!

        Over Communicate

        We plan on using a slew of different mediums to communicate (well OVER communicate) with you all. The idea is that gamers don’t all use the same platforms/channels to learn and discuss new games. So we will have a DISCORD channel, twitter, Facebook, Gamepedia, STEAM (where you are reading NOW!), website, REDDIT etc…

        The FOG! Yes, the mighty, scary, looming, blinding fog; we added this effect to enhance the horror feel of the game. Keeping you the player guessing at what is coming around the corner or right in front of you. Let us know what you think of it...

        We Actually Listen!

        Feedback from testers after initial key release… We are logging and considering all the comments, concerns and ideas…


        1. Animations: This is something we need help with (just being honest), this is why we are looking for the community to support what we are doing. So in turn we can either add an experienced artist/animator or work with an animation studio.

        2. LEECHERS Attacking through Walls: We are implementing the fix for this. HOORAY

        3. Crouch & Prone: Do we need this? Crouch and Prone don’t have any benefits in Don’t Bleed. I’m going to need more feedback from the community on this…

        4. Press E to Pick Up: We are implementing the fix for this. We decided to make this an option within the game.

        5. Mouse Scroll: We are implementing the fix for this. We decided to make this an option within the game.
