After Don't Sink I took a lot of time listening to feedback and did everything I could think of to improve on previous mistakes. Some of it was simple changes such as including custom controls and more story-based content. Overall what I learned was that I wanted to make a more tailored experience. One with memorable characters and humor. A lot of unique content instead of the rinse and repeat style of open-world game structure (not to say that is the case for every open world game).
Duke of Defense is the first game I can say I am truly proud of. Topher (the musician/web developer behind Don't Sink) and I have poured every ounce of our being into this game. Even after we finished the game we sat and began work on additional post-game content.
We would love to hear your feedback and find out how you feel about the new direction we've taken.
Not much to say about this update. It fixes a lot of pretty minor issues that we felt affected the quality of life. We are preparing for additional console releases at the moment so we'll be quiet for a bit until then!

Official Release of Mac Support!
We have officially launched a build for Mac! We are excited to finally make the game available to more people.
Unfortunately, we couldn't make this possible without making a small sacrifice. In the Mac version of the game, the camera is not able to zoom due to engine limitations beyond our control. As a result, the camera can not smoothly transition in some scenarios. This does not impact the core gameplay in anyway however, so rest assured that there's nothing stopping Mac users from becoming great pirates!

Hey everyone! While we are working on the console releases for Don't Sink Topher and I have started another game titled "Duke of Defense". We are going to be releasing on a few platforms but really want to expand on the game so we've started a kickstarter with a playable demo! Check it out!
We've made improvements to the way files are saved/loaded for our planned console releases which you get to benefit from as well. As of this update the game should officially support any resolution, ANY RESOLUTION.
Thanks for all the support and keep being amazing.

New quests, treasure islands, and more! (Update 1.1.0.0)
Hello ye salt lickers! I'm not sure what a salt licker is actually but I do hope this update finds you in good circumstances!
We've added a BOAT LOAD (pun intended) of new content. Three new quests each with unique gameplay that includes quest specific islands, music, and DOLPHINS. That's right there are dolphins involved. You will find quests in Yaleshka, a treasure island, and Danier.
We managed to fix a few game breaking issues too so there's that to look forward to if your game previously caught fire upon creating a new character. Lastly and one of the most significant changes is the balancing of ships which I won't go into detail about.
