Full Release - Leaving Early Access!

With the release of our latest v1.0.0 update, the game is reasonably stable to be made available to the general public. Therefore today we are excited to announce that Drafting Tales will be leaving Early Access!

Past

Drafting Tales was released on Steam Early Access in April 2019. We wanted to get the game to the players as soon as possible so that we receive feedback and feature requests to help us improve and polish the experience.

Those that have been with us from the very beginning, know that the game experience has changed quite a bit since our initial release. In v0.5.0, the game was playable for up to 5 years, there was only one home available, a single avatar and the gameplay was limited.

Present

Fast-forward to v1.0.0, there are 3 homes available (apartment, house and mansion), 2 avatars to choose from, 2 possible endings in year 30 (good and bad), while you have the option to continue playing up to year 60. There are 13 milestones to complete, self-publishing (books and website), outlining for fiction works, sequels, multi-genre works, new items to purchase and new mechanics. Graphics, music and SFX have all been considerably improved. In addition, the game was made available for macOS after receiving many requests from players.

Future

Our plan is to keep adding features and updating the game as usual, however the stability of the game will become a priority.

We want to thank you all who bought Drafting Tales during Early Access and took the time to create videos, write reviews, provide us with valuable feedback, or email us just to tell us how much you loved the game. We hope that you keep enjoying the game and, as always, feel free to continue posting your feedback and suggestions.
