Happy New Year 2021!
Santa NPC has some new year items for you to exchange: A Phoenix Mount, Lucky Pig Mount (both with event stats), Fireworks to celebrate the new year and a new Fortune Cookie Gasha Box with random items which are giving some small buffs for one hour. Be careful: There are also items with negative buffs in it.
Evolution Accessory Event
Monsters inside Expert Modes, Dungeons and Mission Maps starting with Mirinae Sanctuary are dropping Double Helix (they don't drop at Temple of Water and Magma Dungeon). You can collect them and trade them at the Vending Machine for a part of the Evolution Accessory Set.
The event runs until January 14, 13:00 Server Time.
Dragon Saga Evolved: Weapon Mutation System
Doctor Darrel has finally found out how to mutate weapons!
Mutate Weapon
With this system you are able to turn normal equip weapons into costume weapons. To do that you need some materials which are: Broken Relics, Weapon Enchant Dust Cubes, one regular weapon and five [Normal] grade IM weapons part of which at least one needs to match your class. Additionally you need from the item mall: a Costume Mutator Item and if you want to protect your regular weapon you need to use a Mutation Insurance Scroll. The base success chance is 1%.
There are 3 types of Mutation Insurance Scrolls:
Mutation Insurance Scroll
- protects the regular armor gear part from being destroyed on fail
Advanced Mutation Insurance Scroll
- protects the regular weapon from being destroyed on fail
- protects 1 Weapon Enchant Dust Cube on fail
- increases the success chance to 3%
Reinforced Mutation Insurance Scroll
- protects the regular weapon from being destroyed on fail
- protects 2 Weapon Enchant Dust Cubes on fail
- increases the success chance to 5%
[Normal] IM Weapons
You need to add at least one IM Weapon that matches your class. Any further added IM Weapon which is matching your class increases the success chance by 1%. Because of this you're able to reach a total success chance of 9% when using 5 IM Weapons matching your class and the Reinforced Mutation Insurance Scroll. If you don't want the bonus chance you can get by addings IM Weapons matching your class you can add any other IM weapon instead.
Additionally if you add 5 IM weapons matching your class one less Weapon Enchant Dust Cube is needed.
Needed Materials
1x Regular Weapon Part
5x [Normal] grade IM weapon of which at least one needs to match your class, add more matching your class to get up to 4% success chance bonus, does not break on fail
1x Costume Mutator Item (Item Mall) – is not used up on fail
Weapon Enchant Dust Cube (the amount depends on the level of the Regular weapon, used up on each try)
[Optional] Mutation Insurance Scroll (see above)
5x Broken Relic (is used up on each attempt and cannot be protected)
Requirements...
... the regular weapon needs to be equipable by your own class tree
... the regular weapon needs to be Lv.20 or higher
If it fails...
... the Mutation Insurance Scroll is used up
... the Weapon Enchant Dust Cubes are used up (you can protect 1 or 2 by using the appropriate Mutation Insurance Scroll)
... the Broken Relics are used up
... the Regular weapon is destroyed if not protected by a Mutator Insurance Scroll
... the Costume Mutator Item isn't used up
... the IM Weapons are not destroyed
If it succeeds...
... the Mutation Insurance Scroll is used up
... the needed Weapon Enchant Dust Cubes are used up
... the Broken Relics are used up
... the Costume Mutator Item is used up
... the IM Weapons are used up
... the Regular Weapon is turned into a costume and moved to the Costume Inventory and will look like the regular weapon, the inventory icon has a small overlay to be identified as mutated costume
Parts with Soulcraft Effects, Enchants, Socket Cards, Soulcraft Effect Amplification, Soul Gems
All the effects on the weapons are gone. So make sure you only use items with effects you don't need or to Soul shift/Enchant shift/Socket extract/Soul Gem extract before mutating. You will get a warning message telling you what the parts have if needed.
Restrictions of Mutated Weapons

... can only be equipped on the costume page
... can not be sent by mail
... can not be sold in the open market
... can not be traded
... can not be put into any vault
... can not be mutated again

Halloween Event Update
A new Event Costume Undead Gamer is available for trade at NPC Randy. The costs are the same as for the other costumes. This costume or the Super Dragon Ranger Costume from the Item Mall is mandatory to participate in the Trick or Treat quests which will happen on 10/31 and 11/1. The quests can only be done once per character.
