We are celebrating our 10th anniversary and we invitie you to celebrate with us.
This year we have our 10th Birthday Cake and also we have a little guest.
The name of him is "Little Bob". Little Bob has something very special for you. When you talk to him he will be able to teleport you and your party members into the Dungeon of the Forgotten Past. The Dungeon will take you and your party members on a journey into the past.
The Dungeon is an Expert Mode Dungeon, it does not offer a normal mode. All Expert Mode limitations apply, but you also get the 8 end rewards.
As end reward you can get the following:

Each of the items are giving +0.5% Enchant Success Chance and +0.5% Soulcraf Success Chance. If you equip all 3 you get another +1.5% Enchant Success Chance and Soulcraft Success Chance.
If you kill the Mini Bosses at the boss room, they will drop a Piece of Birthday Cake. That item can be traded at the Birthday Cake for a special wing. Either in Black or in White or you get yourself both. They cost 25 Pieces of Birthday Cake each.
10th Anniversary EXP
From October 5 to October 8 23:59 Server Time you will get 1.5x EXP on all channels except of channel 4.
Little Helper Balloon and Little Helper Support Pet
For our 10th Anniversary we created a Balloon and a Support Pet from the creature which is with us since the beginning. In the Item Mall you can obtain a Little Helper Ballon Box which randomly gives one of 10 differently colored Little Helper Balloons (80 IM Points each) and a Little Helper Pet Egg which yields a Little Helper Support Pet which can be randomly dyed in 1 of 5 different colors (240 IM each).
The stats are the same as for all recent IM Balloons.
General Fixes and Changes
Change: The level requirement of the Megaphones is now Lv. 50
Bug-Fix: Fixed a bug when the Mission Map selection or Dungeon selection was cancelled

Removal of the Market Fee
With this update the market fee has been removed. The Sold Items List now shows the amount of sold items instead of the fee and it shows the price per 1 unit finally correctly.
Frost Lake: Mood
Frost Lake now supports the 4 moods Day, Night, Dusk and Dawn depending on your mood setting.
General Fixes and Changes
Change: The level requirement of the Fiery Cursed and Cold Mossy Bone Weapons have been set to 65 for consistency.
Bug-Fix: Fixed a bug of the former devs where the skills performed with the twin's twin did not count for the participation calculation in dungeons and mission maps. That caused that in Expert Modes players which mainly used the twin's twin skills to attack the boss got no rewards when being in a party.

Talk like a Pirate! Day Event
"Why are pirates pirates? cuz they arrrrrr"
Pirate's Hideout Event
Arg me mateys! The great Pirate Hideout has been discovered in Dragon Saga!
There be a new event mission map in town, and it be for all level o' players past level 25, with monsters that scale to yer level! Run the Pirate's Hideout F1 Mission Map to obtain marvelous treasures in the form of mission rewards.
Once ye have made it through the perilous gauntlet of Pirates and scallywags, at the end of this mission you will see two deadly bosses. One of them is the terrifying Hookah, but the other changes with the shifting sea! You will either face off with Alvida or Kalygon . Once you have battled these monstrous foes, they will drop grand pirate treasure chests! Be ye careful though, all monsters in the finale boss room will have to be killed to complete the map.
You may find inside this treasure chest a Slice of Cake, Yogurt, a Balloon, a treasure piece or, if ye be unlucky, junk! Don't worry though; you can always be selling the junk treasure for 10 silver to any shop NPC.
What about them glittery treasure pieces ye ask? The treasure pieces be needed to be exchanged to a Chucky's Clothing Gasha Box, which may be randomly yields a pirate clothing or th' new 'n mighty rare Moby Whale balloon.
It's animated! Do you recognize him? Where have you seen him before?
As fer them shiny mission end rewards, ye can get:

Armor Enchant Dust
Souls
A Pirate's Weapon Gasha Box (only S~SSS Rank)
Pirate's Diamonds (only S~SSS Rank)
Ye can also trade 4 Golden Woodie Statues, 2 Silver and 2 Bronze Woodie Statues at the Hookah NPC by starting the repeatable quest 'Barter ye Booty' (level 25+). If ye be wanting to unlock this repeatable quest you have to complete Hookah's 'Enter th' Hideout' Quest (Level 25+) once on yer pirate fightin' character.
And if ye have some of them Pirate Diamonds, ye can trade 10 at a time at the Hookah NPC by starting the repeatable quest 'Shiny Diamonds' (Level 25+) for a Big IM Consumable Gasha Box which randomly yields IM Consumables.
So go get that pirate treasure, before the time is up, and those scurvy pirates sail back out to sea!
The event stays until October 8, 13:00 Server Time.

Changes to the Behavior of the Physical/Magic Damage Drop Stats
With this update the Physical/Magic Damage Drop formula has been reworked. The amount of damage drop is now soft capped at 10% permanent damage drop. Every amount above 10% is divided by 10 and added to the capped 10%. Therefore it is not possible to get more than 19% permanent damage drop.
Example:
The Fifth Hero Bracelet comes with 17% Damage Drop. The formula is calculated as follows:
10% of the 17% amount are the capped base amount you'll get as permanent damage drop. The remaining 7% are dived by 10 = 0.7% which is added to the 10% base amount you already have. Then you'll have a permanent damage drop of 10.7%.
Now you get your hands on Zeus Wing which give 10% magical damage drop. Your damage drop amount is now 27%. The calculation is now as follows:
10% of the 27% amount are the capped base amount you'll get as permanent magic damage drop. The remaining 17% are dived by 10 = 1.7% which is added to the 10% base amount you already have. Then you'll have a permanent magic damage drop of 11.7% and a permanent physical damage drop of 10.7%.
Additionally you always have a chance to get the full % damage drop amount you have on your gear on any hit. The chance to get that full amount is at 7.5% if you have a damage drop of 100%.
The formula for that calculation is as follow:
7.5% * ParticularDamageDrop / 100
Example for this Calculation:
Taken the above example with the bracelet and the wings, the chance you'll get the full drop amount when being hit is:
Physical: 7.5% * 17% / 100 = 1.28% - means you have a chance of 1.28% on a physical hit that the damage drops by 17% instead of only 10.7%
Magical: 7.5% * 27% / 100 = 2.03% - means you have a chance of 2.02% on a magic hit that the damage drops by 27% instead of only 11.7%
Now you can find an overview of the damage drop amounts you have at the character overview under the Defense category.
Party-Break In
The party-break in feature has been disabled for all instanced maps (Mission Maps, Dungeons).
MyHome
If you are a member in a party you now have to leave the party before you'll be able to enter a MyHome. That change was needed to fix several issues.
General Fixed and Changes
Bug-Fix: The daily quest Stop Lavalon's Revival! will now be visibile after you have completed Valid Raeth F5 without the need to be jobchanged.

Dragon Saga Evolved
Removed the need of Chaos Scrolls to enter F2 Mission Map Mode
It is no longer needed to own a chaos scroll to be able to enter the F2 Mission Mode. It is still necessary to have the Arcade Mode completed before entering the Chaos Mode for the first time. Chaos Scrolls can still be used to teleport directly into the F2 Mission Mode from any location. Boss Monsters in the mission maps are no longer dropping Chaos Scrolls but they can still be exchanged at the Dragonlord's Room at Libra and Moonlight Shore Village for Devil Soul Stones. Devil Soul Stones can be obtained by killing monsters in Hidden Maps appropriate for your particular level range.
Job Change Lv. 40 change
To JobChange you know need to have the Quests Fight to Death Against Drake! and The Postlude of Destruction to get the final JobChange Quest. Additionally the daily Quest Stop Lavalon's Revival becomes available when Farrel's Diary – Second Part (Valid Raeth F5) is completed.
In short this means that you now have to defeat Lavalon first before being able to jobchange.

- Bug Fix: fixed a bug that in Drako's Tower end reward an empty item has been selected in rare cases (Normal and Expert mode)
- Bug Fix: fixed a bug that the Arcadia Continent is shown at the teleport menu even though the player has not discovered the existence of Arcadia

Big End-of-Summer Letter Event
The event has ended. The letters can still be exchanged for the event items at the Vending Machine for another week.
First Aid Event
Monsters inside Expert Modes, Dungeons and Mission Maps starting with Mirinae Sanctuary are dropping First Aid Capsules. These randomly contain one of the following:

Soul/Immortality Capsules 20/50
Soul Capsule 50 and Immortality Capsule 50 can now be bought at the Potions Shop NPCs at Port of the Winds, Arcadia and Odellia (Pixel Saga World). Soul Capsules 50 recover 50% of MP and Immortality Capsules 50 recover 50% of HP. The cooldown of both has been increased to 3 minutes.
The cooldown for Soul Capsule 20 and Immortality Capsules 20 have a cooldown of 1 minute.
All Immortality Capsules are not able to be used in BSQ.
Dragon Saga Evolved:
End of the Mission Mode Ranking Reward System
With this patch the Mission Mode Ranking Reward and Comment System has reached it's end of life and has been completely removed from the game. Mission points are no longer given and no comments can be entered anymore.
The Rank Reward Items can now be obtained by everyone who enters a mission map and completes it with S~SSS rank. The chance of getting a Mission Map Rank Item is at 3%. The Rank Item has been added to the right slot where usually Socket Chest Keys etc. are given. Every member of the party has the same chance of getting such item.
General Fixes and Changes
- Bugfix: An expert mode bug has been fixed that the party wasn't able to go through portals inside the expert mode dungeon when a character levelled up and exceeded the maximum allowed level difference of all party members because of that
- Bugfix: The Guild Emblem Changer item from the Item Mall now works with the new Guild Emblems added with Patch 0.8.62
- Bugfix: Fixed the Pegasus Mount animation bugs
- Bugfix: Removed weird animation for the Halloween Mounts Jacko Broom, Wooden Cane, Bat Broomstick, Dragon Wing
