I Like! Event While we are waiting for Thanks Giving we have the opportunity to get ourselves I Like! Accessories. Monsters inside Expert Modes, Dungeons (except of Galaxy Dungeon, Element Dungeons and Temple of Water) and Mission Maps starting with Mirinae Sanctuary are dropping "I like!" Items. You can collect them and trade them at the Vending Machine for a part of the I Like!Accessory Set. Too hard
This Event runs until November 21, 11:00 Server Time.
Changes to Elga Sets and Elga/Lavalon Weapons We decided to decrease the level requirement for Black Dragon Lord Sets and Weapons to better match the entry level of the Black Claw Nest dungeon. Since the required level for entering the Black Nest Dungeon and the hero quests for it is 70 we decided that Level 75 resp. 77 is not lining up with this. This is the following new level requirement for Black Dragon Lord Sets:
Black Dragon Lord Gear – Lv.70 Black Dragon Lord Weapon – Lv. 70 [Rare] Black Dragon Lord Gear – Lv.72 Element Black Dragon Lord Weapon – Lv. 72
Additionally we decreased the level requirement for the Magma (Lavalon) weapons to Lv. 45 because of the same reason. We decided to keep the level requirement at Lv. 45 so that the Dark Soul Weapons still have a purpose and a reason to be farmed.

Scaling Dungeons and Mission Maps(Early Access)Update
Event Mission Maps and Non-Expert Mode Dungeons now available for scaled Parties
We are happy to tell you that Event Mission Maps and Non-Expert Mode Dungeons can now be played with your low-level and high level friends.
The scaling mechanics for Event Maps is the same as it is for normal
maps with one exception: The maximum number of rewards you can get is limited to 2.
This means you will get the following amount of rewards:

2 scaled High-Level Party Members: 2 Rewards
3 scaled-High-Level Party Members: 1 Rewards
Event Dungeons

Bugfixes
- Fixed a bug that autoscaling Mission Maps (e.g. Dragon Valley) always scaled the monsters to the actual level the highest high-level player in a scaled party, not to the highest scaled level
- Fixed a bug that Gada Coins and Ring Coins could not be used when playing in a scaled Party

Scaling Dungeons and Mission Maps (Early Access)
Scaling Dungeons and Mission Maps (Early Access)
Now you can team up with lower-level friends without needing a new character! With our new feature, when your party includes both high and low-level players, higher-level characters are scaled to match the lower-level ones, ensuring a fair and fun experience for all.
How It Works
When entering a Dungeon or Mission Map, the game sets the lowest-level party member as the base level. Characters within 5 levels of the base remain unscaled, while those beyond this threshold are scaled down to the highest level within it.
Example:
A party has characters at levels 21, 22, 24, and 84. Since the lowest level is 21, all characters from levels 21 to 25 remain unscaled. The level 84 character is scaled down to 24 (the highest level within the threshold).
What is Scaled
When characters are scaled down, only PATK/MATK, PDef/MDef, and Element Damage (Attack) are adjusted. All other stats (e.g., Critical Damage, Final Damage Reduction) remain unchanged. Each scaled stat matches the highest value among the unscaled, lower-level party members
Benefits for Scaled Characters
Scaled characters can earn rewards from Dungeons and Mission Maps, provided they meet standard requirements (e.g., 10% damage rule, level limits for dungeon rewards, appropriate Mission Map scores). Monsters also drop items, including event loot, making it possible to farm and quest with low-level friends effectively.
You’ll also gain EXP in a scaled party, and your lower-level friends benefit from shared Party EXP. However, ExCos cannot be farmed this way since Lv. 85 characters don’t earn EXP but share it with lower-level teammates.
While some high-level skills may be unavailable, you can still use skills at their highest level as long as their Lv. 1 requirement matches your scaled level.
Reward Changes
There are some reward limitations for scaled parties: Mission Maps
1 high-level player: 3 rewards per person
2 high-level players: 2 rewards per person
3 high-level players: 1 reward per person
Dungeons
1 high-level player: 4 rewards per person
2 high-level players: 3 rewards per person
3 high-level players: 2 rewards per person
Expert Mode Dungeons are unaffected by this system.
Why Early Access?
This is a new system that needs live testing, and changes may occur based on feedback, bugs, or unexpected issues. Early Access ensures transparency as we fine-tune the experience before full release.

Scaling Dungeons and Mission Maps (Early Access) Ever wanted to play with your lower character level friend without the need of creating a new character to match your friend's level? We got you, now you can. We are proud to introduce our Scaling Dungeons and Mission Maps feature.
From now on when entering a Dungeon or Mission Map with low and high level characters together in a party the Dungeons and Mission Maps are level scaling the high level characters to match the lower level ones.
How it works When entering a Dungeon/Mission Map the game finds out the lowest character level of all party members. All other party members within a threshold of 5 levels are notscaled, while the characters that have a character level beyond that threshold are automatically scaled to the character with the highest level within the threshold.
Example: Your party consist of 4 characters: a Lv. 21 one, a Lv. 24 one, a Lv. 22 one and a Lv. 84 one. The Lv. 21 one is the character with the lowest level in the party and is considered the base level for that party. All characters between Lv. 21 and Lv. 25 are within the 5 level threshold and are not scaled. So the Lv. 21, Lv. 22 and Lv. 24 characters stay unscaled while the Lv. 84 character is scaled down to Lv. 24 (which is the character with the highest Level within the threshold).
What is scaled For characters which are scaled down, only PATK/MATK, PDef/MDef and the Element Damage (Attack) is scaled. All other stats remain unscaled (for example Critical Damage, Final Damage Reduction, etc.). The particular scaled stats are always scaled to the highest value of all unscaled players (low level) in the party separately.
Benefits for the scaled Characters While being in a scaled party, the scaled characters will get rewards at the end of the Dungeon/Mission Map again as long as the usual requirements are met (10% Damage Rule, no Dungeon rewards when the players are 10 levels above the Dungeon Entry Level, getting an appropriate score for the Mission Maps). Also monsters are dropping items (including Event Drops) again. This mean you can now no longer not only help your low level friends finishing their quests but instead become able to actively play and farm dungeons and mission maps together with them again no matter what your own higher character level is.
Another benefit is that you get EXP again while being in a scaled party. Also your low level friends get your shared Party EXP. One exception is scaled parties cannot be used to farm ExCos since a Lv. 85 character does not get EXP themselves but share the Party EXP to the other party members which are not Lv.85 yet.
While a player is not able to use skills which are not available at the scaled character level you are able to use skills whose Level 1 character level requirement matches your scaled level. That means if you have a skill Level of 10 on a particular skill and the level requirement for the skill level 1 is met you can continue using this particular skill on Skill Level 10.
Where there is Light there is also Shadow The are some limitations regarding the end rewards when playing in a scaled party:
Mission Maps For each scaled high level player in a party the whole party gets 1 end reward less. In numbers: 1 High Level Player in the Party – 3 Rewards per Person 2 High Level Players in the Party – 2 Rewards per Person 3 High Level Players in the Party – 1 Reward per Person
Dungeons If there is more than one high level player in a party the whole party gets 1 end reward less for every additional high level player. In numbers: 1 High Level Player in the Party – 4 Rewards per Person 2 High Level Players in the Party – 3 Rewards per Person 3 High Level Players in the Party – 2 Rewards per Person
Expert Mode Dungeons are excluded from this system and no changes have been made to them.
Why it's Early Access? Because having Early Access is trending nowadays... Seriously, this is a whole new system and needs to be tested on a live server environment. Early Access means that this or that could become subject to change if we find out that it does not works out how we planned it or in case of bugs and unforseen happenings. The additional Early Access shall inform you that things can change again until we make this system a full release.
The downscaled Level can be seen at different locations. Also the scaled stats are reflected in the character overview.
Quest Completer Item (Item Mall) We have implemented a new Item Mall item called Quest Completer . This item works only for Hero Quests (Red Quests, JobChange Quests) up to Level 75. A specific Amount of this Item can be used to immediately complete such quests. The only exception is the quest 3rd Class Promotion - [Achievement and Hidden Map] Advice from Hel Krouzer which is excluded from being completed with the help of this item. All other Hero Quests and JobChange Quests have now a button added called "Skip" when the quest has been accepted and you open the quest inside your journal or by clicking on the quest tracker. Clicking on "Skip" will inform you about the amount of the Quest Completer Item needed to immediately complete the particular quest.
Important Information: Completing a quest this way will grant you all quest rewards of the particular quest (EXP, Gold and Items).
After successfully using the "Skip" function your quest has the completed state. You still have to finish the quest completion process remotely (if possible) or at the Quest NPC if needed. Completing a dungeon or mission map related quest this way will not give you any mission map or dungeon end rewards.
The amount of Quest Completer Items needed to complete a specific quest depends on the quest level (except of JobChange Quests): 1~19: 1 Item per Quest 20~29: 2 Items per Quest 30~39: 3 Items per Quest 40~49: 4 Items per Quest 50~59: 5 Items per Quest 60~69: 6 Items per Quest 70~75: 7 Items per Quest
JobChange Quests need 10 Items per Quest to be skipped no matter the quest level.
Important Information: The level requirements for the particular quest stays which means that you still have to progress (level up) your character to unlock higher level hero quests!
The Quest Completer Item is one-time sellabe for all characters Lv. 50+.

You can also trade it for an [Event] Sir Helpsalot Support Pet which costs 30 Pieces of Birthday Cake each. This Sir Helpsalot can be upgrade to an High-Stat Support Pet using the Pet Upgrader Item from the Item Mall. The High-Stat version comes with 5 different colors which can be changed randomly by using the Pet Dye Potion from the Item Mall. The Low-Stat Event version only comes with one color. Enchant and Soulcraft Event Soulcraft and Enchant Success Chances are doubled until October 10, 11:00 Server Time.

Pirate's Hideout Event
Arg me mateys! The great Pirate Hideout has been discovered in Dragon Saga!
There be a new event mission map in town, and it be for all level o' players beyond level 25, with monsters that scale to yer level! Run the Pirate's Hideout F1 Mission Map to obtain marvelous treasures in the form of mission rewards.
Once ye have made it through the perilous gauntlet of Pirates and scallywags, at the end of this mission you will see two deadly bosses. One of them is the terrifying Hookah, but the other changes with the shifting sea! You will either face off with Alvida or Kalygon. Once you have battled these monstrous foes, they will drop grand pirate treasure chests! Be ye careful though, all monsters in the finale boss room will have to be killed to complete the map.
You may find inside this treasure chest a Slice of Cake, Yogurt, a Balloon, a treasure piece or, if ye be unlucky, junk! Don't worry though; you can always be selling the junk treasure for 10 silver to any shop NPC.
What about them glittery treasure pieces ye ask? The treasure pieces be needed to be exchanged to a Chucky's Clothing Gasha Box, which may be randomly yields a pirate clothing or th' mighty rare animated Moby Whale balloon. Where have you seen him before?
As fer them shiny mission end rewards, ye can get:
Ye can also trade 4 Golden Woodie Statues, 2 Silver and 2 Bronze Woodie Statues at the Hookah NPC by starting the repeatable quest 'Barter ye Booty' (level 25+). If ye be wanting to unlock this repeatable quest you have to complete Hookah's 'Enter th' Hideout' Quest (Level 25+) once on yer pirate fightin' character.
Ye can get get a Pirate Clothing Chest or an [Event]Cpt. WoodstockSupport Matey. Th' [Event] Cpt. Woodstock Matey can be upgraded to a High Stat Support Matey usin' th' Pet Upgrader Item from the Item Mall at NPC Amy's shoppe. And if ye have some of them Pirate Diamonds, ye can trade 10 at a time at the Hookah NPC by starting the repeatable quest 'Shiny Diamonds' (Level 25+) for a Big IM Consumable Gasha Box which randomly yields Event IM Consumables.
So go get that pirate treasure, before the time is up, and those scurvy pirates sail back out to sea!
The Pirate's Weapon Gasha Box contains Captain Nemo's Bowinstead of Hookah's Rifle because of the issues with animations for some skills.
The event stays until October 2, 11:00 Server Time.

Important: Min/Max Attack Values count as one stat even though they are shown as 2. They always come together as a combined stat.
Information:When a Balloon is Special Option randomized with a Physical class there is a chance to get Min/Max Physical Attack. If randomized with a Magic class there is a chance to get Min/Max Magic Attack. In conclusion, a Physical class can not get Min/Max Magic Attack by Special Option randomizing and a Magical class can not get Min/Max Physical Attack by Special Option randomizing.
After using the Special Options Creator on the eligible weapons the following special options are always given:
Physcial Class: STR +3, HLT +3, AGI +3
Magic Class: INT +3, HLT +3, AGI +3
Hidden Maps and Devil's Soul Stones The Hidden Maps are undergoing a rework. Until this rework is done, Hidden Maps have been temporarily disabled. Hidden Scrolls have no effect at the moment and can either be kept for later use or sold to an NPC shop. Devil's Soul Stonescan now be obtained from the Vending Mache as a box of 50 pieces by exchanging it for 15 Eternal Coins and 10 Silver Coins each.
Changes to Soulcrafting and Enchanting Soulcrafting (at the Soulcraft NPC) and Enchanting (at the Blacksmith NPC) no longer costs any gold no matter which level, grade or item you are refining. The other material requirements (Dusts, Souls,Insurance Scrolls) stay as is.
General Fixes and Changes - Fix:A bug has been fixed that the MixBoard UI is showing [Artifact] instead of [Legendary] at the Chance information area when the Legendary tab is selected. - Fix:An issue with the too bright lighting of moveable objects in the Magma Dungeon has been fixed. - Fix:Some quest texts have been corrected. - Fix:Some item mall items for direct purchase have their costume grade fixed.

Daily Quest Changes
We've made changes to the Hunter G., Mummy Andre, and Guild Daily Quests. The Daily Quests now include tasks that must be completed individually by each party member. For instance, if you're tasked with killing 70 Monster X at location Y and it is marked as an individual quest, only the monsters you personally defeat will count toward the quest, not those killed by your party members. This applies to all daily quests except for combo quests or those involving mini-bosses in dungeons. Additionally, the individual quests vary from day to day. The number of individual quests is not fixed and changes daily. In simple terms, a quest that requires you to work alone today may allow party assistance on another day, and vice versa.
These individual quests are marked with a new symbol, which can be seen in the daily quest list and the quest details:
Additionally we removed the mission map quests from the said dailies entirely.

Ultimate Elemental Item Event This Event has ended.You can still exchange event Items to the NPC Edward at Port of the Winds until September 15.
Get-Expanders Event Defeat Monsters in Expert Modes and collect Purple Coins which can be exchanged to NPC Kenducky at Port of the Winds to get 10 Soulcraft Expandersfor the Level you want for 20 Purple Coins . Please know that the Expanders you get from NPC Kenducky can't be sold or traded.
Temporary closure of the login for Dragokin Characters
Hello Dragon Saga Friends! As mentioned in the 2 previous patch notes we will turn off the login for Dragokin Characters until we can offer the planned and promised transition to a human class. By the maintenance on September 5, 11:00 Server Time it will be no longer possible to login to Dragokin Characters until we are able to offer the transition. Important! Please read! Please know that after the Maintenance on September 5 your Dragokin Character will be shown as not having any items equipped anymore. The Dragokin Character will look like a basic character. Even though it looks like the items the character has equipped are gone this is not the case. The items are still there. We had to do it that way to ensure that we can prepare the items eligible for the transformation are able to be transformated correctly without any bugs during this process. Differently from planned before, there will be no transition NPC. Instead after we prepared everything for this transformation possibility you will be able to login to your Dragokin Character again and you will be asked which of the 2 human classes your Dragokin is eligible for you want to pick. When this is done, your former Dragokin Character will be transformed into the picked human class. Since the transformation of one character class into another by taking into account the items the particular Dragokin Character has is a complicated task, we have no ETA when the transformation will actually happen but you will be informed on time with more details about the transformation process.
When trying to login to a Dragokin Character after the Maintenance on September 5 the game will show you the following message:
Special Options: Next Item The Demon Capes now have the ability to get Special Options created by using the Special Options Creator Item from the Item Mall.
General Fixes and Changes - Fix:A bug has been fixed that a specific trigger of the Snow Mountain Field Map did not work correctly. - Fix:The costume grade of the items of the Legendary Crusader Armor has been set to Legendary.
