As many of you know, we have spent the last year hard at work on our second unannounced title thanks to your support of our studio. However, we fell in love with the Steam Deck over the holidays and felt strongly that Dreamscaper is the perfect game for the device.
Therefore, we are thrilled to announce that we have also been secretly revisiting Dreamscaper in order to improve the performance, usability and readability of our game specifically for the Steam Deck. That is correct: Dreamscaper is now officially a Verified Steam Deck game.
We hope that you enjoy this new update and please let us know if you encounter any new issues related to these changes so that we can hotfix them ASAP.
Love, Rob, Ian & Paul

Autosave Race Condition Hotfix (1.1.6.0)
It was discovered that a session's save progress could be lost thanks to a race condition between our asynchronous level streaming and the new asynchronous autosaving.
This issue has been resolved. Please let us know if you happen to encounter any additional issues!

Engine Upgrade & Optimizations (1.1.5.0)
Happy New Year everyone!
As many of you know, as of 1.1 we now consider the current version of Dreamscaper as the final definitive experience, but we will continue to maintain stability and performance for our players. The primary purpose of this patch (and the bulk of the work) is to upgrade our version of Unreal Engine in order to make Dreamscaper even easier to maintain going forward.
Additionally, we have made a few high-priority / low-risk fixes and improvements:
Auto-saving has been made asynchronous. Players with slower hard drives should now experience less hitching throughout the game.
Fixed an issue where Interactables could be triggered when menus (like fast travel) were dismissed, resulting in weird broken game states.
Minor translation, graphical & collision fixes.
Cheers, Rob, Ian & Paul
1.1 Update Cleanup Patch (1.1.1.5)
Another tiny patch to address the following:
All Nightmare Boss shockwave attacks have consistent hit type
Various adjustments to language used within dialogue sequences
Halloween Event Patch (1.1.1.3)
To celebrate Halloween, we are running a limited time event where some enemies become Jack-o'-lantern nightmares!
This will be turned off again on November 1st.

1.1 Update Cleanup Patch (1.1.1.1)
This is our smallest patch yet which addresses a regression in 1.1:
Fixed issue where % complete in the save screen would round up to 100%
Cheers, Rob, Ian & Paul
